what's miles morales' relationship with gwen stacy

Hello! thank you for your question.

the relationship between Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy is an interesting one.

Miles was bitten by an OZ induced spider prior to the death of Peter Parker.

and was actually present at the scene of Peters death

this was the first interaction between Miles and Gwen

the next time Miles would see Gwen would be at Peter’s funeral

Miles tries asking Gwen about Peter’s reasons for becoming Spider-Man, but because Gwen was still grieving Peter’s death, she decided to ignore Miles questions.

however, before going inside the church, Gwen changes her mind and decides to tell Miles about Peter’s Uncle Ben

after the funeral, (and after Gwen cuts her hair and dyes it black.) Tony Stark offers Aunt May and Gwen a trip to Paris, which they accept immediately.

While May and Gwen are in Paris, Miles has been dressing up in a Spider-Man Halloween costume (which was provided by Ganke) and going out and “fighting crime”

May and Gwen end up seeing a picture of Miles on a Paris newspaper

after May and Gwen arrive home, May contacts Tony Stark about “this new Spider-Man”

the next day Miles gets a mysterious phone call

Miles meets with Aunt May and Gwen in an abandoned warehouse

at first, Gwen doesn’t remember Miles

after this, in the Spider-Men mini-series, when the main 616 Peter Parker travels to the Ultimate Universe, Miles is shown to be hanging out with Gwen and Peter

then, when Venom attacks Miles’ father, Gwen and Mary Jane offer to help Miles understand symbiotes

after Venom’s defeat, and the loss of his Mother, the book jumps ahead one year later and Miles is shown not wanting to be Spider-Man anymore.

however, Miles ends up accidentally running into Gwen at her work

at this point, it’s unclear how much contact Gwen and Miles have had during the one year gap, but then we get this awkward conversation,

seconds later, Gwen’s workplace gets collateral damage from when Cloak and Dagger try to take down Bombshell.

Gwen urges Miles to help, but Miles refuses to listen to Gwen.

and instead of helping, Miles walks away from his responsibility.

and that is the last interaction we’ve seen from Gwen Stacy and Miles Morales.

After Show (My Last BnT-K3)

aku berjalan menuju pintu yang tidak asing. di sana ada ruangan dengan dinding merah dan meja panjang, di belakangnya berdirilah para gadis-gadis panggung yang sudah dengan luar biasanya mempersembahkan sebuah pertunjukan kepadaku, malam ini.

berjalanlah aku menuju mereka. kulihat seorang gadis oriental yang sosoknya cukup tinggi, namanya jennifer

aku: hey, koyok'e rajajowas ora kenek abu vulkanik kelud... malang aman kok han (hey sepertinya sawojajar nggak kena abu vulkanik kelud, malang aman kok)

jennifer: lho iyo ta?, lha iki mas'e teko ngendi? (iya kah? ini masnya dari mana ya?)

aku: aku teko malang han *senyum* (aku dari malang han)

jennifer: wah mas iki rek, adoh-adoh teko malang *senyum juga* (wah mas ini jauh-jauh dari malang ya)

aku sangat senang berinteraksi banyak menggunakan bahasa jawa, sampai-sampai dua member setelahnya ikut bengong melihat kita berdua, aku terus maju

yang satu ini bernama Ratu viny, dia berwajah kalem dan lembut selayaknya perempuan jawa pada umumnya.

aku: vin, dapat salam dari teman-teman Yogyakarta

viny: oh, yogyakarta baik-baik saja kan kak?

tanganku dipegang olehnya, terasa getaran rasa turut khawatir yang mengalir. perempuan yang selalu memikirkan orang lain sebelum memikirkan dirinya sendiri

aku: iya, yogyakarta aku rasa baik-baik saja...

sebelahnya lagi seorang trainee namanya saktia, mereka yang cuma dianggap pelengkap oleh orang-orang yang sinis dan merasa yang mereka dukung sudah berada di zona nyaman. tapi sejujurnya aku paling menumpahkan perhatian kepada mereka... gadis-gadis yang tidak lelah dan tidak menyerah apapun peranan mereka sekarang.

aku: halo, kamu juga dapat salam dari temenku di yogya

via: oh iya kak? salamin balik ya, terima kasih... *senyuman yang sangat manis*

they deserve to know that still many people out there that will support them. i swear that i will be one of them... aku maju lagi

satu persatu tangan mereka kugapai dan bersalaman, beberapa salam dari teman-temanku juga turut kusampaikan. wajah mereka yang cantik dan penuh semangat. sudah kuanggap seperti adik-adiku sendiri... semua tersenyum, akupun juga.

di belokan itu, dengan kostum bingo warna merah. dialah gadis bernama Shinta Naomi...

tak banyak bicara, terlihat jutek, namun manis sekali ketika tersenyum, tutur katanya halus sekali ketika berbicara, tingkahnya lucu sekali bila terkadang dia heboh sendiri

betapa beruntung bila punya pasangan seperti dia

setidaknya aku bisa tau kalau ada gadis dengan kepribadian manis sepertinya

mereka adalah benchmark dari semua delusi dan wanita dambaanmu, tapi pada akhirnya selanjutnya hidupmu sendirilah yang harus kamu tentukan

kuhampiri dia, dia sendiri di pojokan belokan ini

aku: hai naomi...

naomi: oh, halo *senyum*

aku: emmm... sekarang kakak lagi skripsian nih,

naomi: *terlihat bingung*

aku: kakak minta doanya ya *nyengir lebar*

naomi: *diam sejenak* oh iya kak, semoga cepat selesai ya

wajah itu terus terbayang sampai sekarang. satu dari sekian hal yang membuatku tetap semangat menulis walau rasa malas sering menghampiri...

tunggu aku datang lagi... semoga segalanya sudah lebih baik ketika aku bertemu kalian lagi nanti...
