I feel like a lot of people on here are too focused on making sure their faves still look attractive in their fan art, and as a result many of them sacrifice some of the most distinctive and endearing features about these characters. Especially in the case of characters played by real people (so, not animated), instead of abstracting the features of these characters and creating a likeness, many people choose to idealize them, I guess in case the actors come across it? Idk but if I can't tell who's who in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia fan art that's a problem, because none of the 3 main guys look alike.

#half the people out there dont even draw mac with downward eyes or anything #and i feel like thats such a big feature of his #everyone gets nathan explosion and skwisgaar's faces wrong too #nathan has a rounder face #and skwisgaar is not chiselled at all

it's actually so funny how challenging it is to write bona fide graphic, horny smut. like people don't give smut writers enough credit. you are constantly running out of words to describe the same 2-4 body parts and same 4-6 motions. you are constantly attempting to do interesting and dynamic things in the prose with this extremely limited set of words. you are looking at your prose for the nastier bits and wondering if it actually sounds hot or if it just sounds goofy. you are then toning down your prose and then wondering if it now sounds tasteful or if it's just boring. you do ctrl+F for the word "cock" and there are 37 instances of it in the doc but you hate the 1-2 acceptable synonyms so there's nothing much you can do about it
