wow it’s been six years since i created this account here.

here’s to more sad teens from a decade ago, celebrating a sorrowful youth as twenty somethings today. let’s hope we write some more poems from the pain we find and feel everyday. cheers.

how long have i been an adult for, if so?

I will continue to argue to the end of time that the black swan is one of the many few, most realistic coming of age and a very valid perspective on girlhood. Like come on, you see how timid, quiet, submissive and naive Nina is at the beginning of the film, suiting the white swan so easily. Yet as the film rolls, she slowly loses this innocence and purity of herself, hence her hallunations of lily, herself, Beth etc. etc . And we see at the end of the film Nina ends up finally becoming the persona of the black swan and killing herself. It describes the way how the transition of girlhood the hysteria and torture you must go through. It showcases the loss of innocence and purity you have to lose in order to grow. It so perfect displays how you must kill the little girl inside you in order to become a woman
