The funniest thing about Amaterasu's voicelines was that they called her when MC apparently got into trouble. She's not even their guardian. They shouldn't be calling her. Plus she's also a student, so it's not even like she'd automatically get guardianship over them in situations that Mr. Mononobe isn't around. They'd get put with another adult. She'd have to go out of her way to do this to even be in this situation.
Amaterasu, by her own volition, had to put herself down as a guardian or emergency contact for MC lol. Jorm's SQ was right. She really does just obsess over MC and worry about what they're getting into.

Imma just go off anon cause idc, same person as that anon who talked about housamo woman and bombom and chrsitine.
Anyways yeah! Bombom females are amazing, like looking at who's he drawn, I didn't even realize he drew some of my favorite females 😭. There's Babylon, Arc (is Arc female? Or just straight nonbinary?), my queen Christine (even tho I'm gay but like 🙏), Maria, female protag (I love her so much. She's my favorite to use cause who doesn't like strong woman). So yeah, bombom defender here too! Also, the hands thing? Honestly same. Hands suck ASS to draw 10/10 do not recommend. So I understand his pain.
Also Arc must be protected at all costs. They're a sweetie pie who needs love and affections 🙏
Gosh, I may not use MC2 as often as MC1, but she's like wow, you know. I know it's such a plain student design like the other designs, but there's just something special going on here.
I think Arc is supposed to be non binary, but the game has or had them clocked as female despite using they/them pronouns for them 💀. They are very cute regardless and needed to be mentioned!! That Little Red Riding Hood outfit is down right adorable and they're a badass when they get the spotlight. I love that Bab's isn't only motherly, but also a bastard schemer. And just look at the details on both these outfits!!
So true tho!! Protect Arc at all costs!! ❤
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have to say that I love Ibaraki's fem looks because I think girls look cute in guy outfits too 😌
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think Maria and Taromaiti are so cute and cool too. Like the way Maria carries her entire guild and is just so self-sacrificial and forgiving that it freaks out guys like Nyarl and Kirito is so goofy and based, I love her. And Taromaiti fighting gender roles and garnering an army of feral lesbian simps? Based. We don't see much of her, but she's always so kind and tries to be understanding when we do 😖❤

Shin Megami Tensei/Persona’s design seems heavily inspired by his appearance in the “Dictionnaire Infernal”
Tumblr media
For my own sake, I will leave it to your imagination what his offerings were according to some rabbis.
I still need to look further into any translated lines of his, but idk which aspects housamo is going to take inspiration from (christian demonology, jewish demonology, moabite origins where he was called Baal-Peor, etc.).
Say, why is there a joke about Belphegor regarding toilets at the first moment he got revealed?
Either something about him cleaning toilets in Ikebukuro or because his counterpart in Megami Tensei sits on a toilet. Not sure.

I always giggle at the fact that Yoritomo got mad at Yoshitsune for breaking "Samurai Code". Like bruh, why are you mad that he won? "He used trickery and dishonest tactics during battle" Okay and? How about you go ask the bitches who followed the code how that worked out for them. Oh wait, you can't because they're dead. Dead as fuck. Dead like your daddy. Dead like your brothers. Dead like your momma. Dead like everyone you once held dear. Idiot. Don't tell that femboy how to do his job.

I've only touched on this briefly, but the reason Tsukuyomi is Susanoo's shadow and their similar appearances is due to the theory that they're actually the same person.
-Tsukuyomi has a suspicious lack of appearances despite being such an important deity. This is actually one of the greatest mysteries in Japanese Mythology. Nobody knows what happened here.
-Tsukuyomi has way less shrines compared to Susanoo and Amaterasu, which gives the impression that he was actually introduced later than his siblings or was hidden for some reason.
-It's been pointed out that Susanoo doesn't follow the same naming convention as Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi, so this has led some to believe that Susanoo might've been a nickname for someone else. Amaterasu's name relates to the sun and can be translated as "Great Divinity Illuminating Heaven”. Tsukuyomi's name relates to the moon and means "moon-reading". Susanoo's name does not relate to storms nor the sea and instead means "wild or impetuous male".
-Tsukuyomi and Susanoo are both blamed for the death of the food goddess, Ukemochi. In the Nihongi, Amaterasu sends Tsukuyomi to a feast on her behalf and there he discovers that the goddess Ukemochi actually made all of the food there by spitting it up. Tsukuyomi becomes so disgusted and enraged that he hacked Ukemochi to pieces. This upsets Amaterasu and leads to their divorce, explaining the existence of night and day. It's also believed that Amaterasu actually sends Susanoo to the feast on her behalf. There is also a story from the Kojiki where, after Susanoo was banished from Takamagahara, he asks Ōgetsu-hime aka Ukemochi for some food. She complies and does so by creating food by spitting it up and defecating. Susanoo gets grossed out and believes she's trying to poison him, so he hacks her to pieces, similar to Tsukuyomi.
-Tsukuyomi's and Susanoo's realms also connect due to the gravity of the moon effecting the sea.
-Tsukuyomi and Susanoo both rule over the underworld in different interpretations.
The fact that Tsukuyomi is still treated as one of the Big 3 with Susanoo and Amaterasu, despite having so little going on compared to his siblings and just from the connection alone, is so interesting. He really is the middle sibling 🌞🌙⛈️.

AMATERASU IS SUCH A SWEETHEART ❤🌞 I'M SORRY FOR ALL THAT SHIT I WAS TALKING, QUEEN. I TAKE IT BACK. SHE JUST WANTED TO BE A GOOD SISTER.
Tumblr media
[NOTE: THESE MAY NOT BE ENTIRELY ACCURATE]
T- Tokyo After School Summoners. I'm the one who sent away my brother, who is a disgrace to our family. But you know, your sister has been worried about you. I've been... so worried about you... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry...
G- I am Amaterasu, the "World Representative" of Takamagahara.... Oh, don't look at me like that, don't show your violent appearance to your sister. Why do you always annoy me like that?
EO- Welcome to.... Oh, it's you. Have you come to beg your sister again? I'm going to secretly give you some pocket money, so get out of here before you get scolded.
EC- Thank you for your hardwork. Now that you're a little tired, would you be able to relax a little? No... your physical strength is inexhaustible... [sigh]...
W- You've... become stronger. You're okay without your sister now.
C1- I was perfect without a single blemish, and I had only one sorrow. That was my brother who was a disgrace to our family. And I chose not to have that boy in my home... and yet I always think of the old days.
C3- I can't believe I got called away.... What did you do? Did you act up again? Why?.... Why won't you say anything? Your sister is really angry with you.... [there's something after this, but I don't know what it is. maybe something about her being busy or just being done with the nonsense]
C4- I have always lived up to expectations and shined a light on the world. The only time I've been loud is when I was dealing with my little brother.... Ever since he left, my palace has become quiet
E- Even though you were hurting someone else, it looks like you got hurt again too, helpless child.... But still no matter what happens, I'll always be your sister.
T- Ah, stop it, what are you doing?! Are you planning to do something embarrassing again like you did that time? If that's the case, your sister will be fully armed, got it?

Crying at the fact that everyone was thinking that Amaterasu was terrified of Susanoo when she was actually shit talking him on the regular and thought of him as a nuisance at best. She's literally threatening to throw hands with them in one of her voice lines.

How much of Kagutsuchi's past does he even remember? He obviously remembers what he did to his mother and how his father disowned him since that's his entire reason for training, but he never pulls the sibling card like Ebisu.
His C4 line is crazy. Izanami loved him so much and Izanagi just tossed him away like garbage for something he had no control of.
"I still regret my own immaturity when I remember that scene. Even as she was being burnt, my mother smiled and hugged me... I will live the rest of my life with that regret."
He even calls out for his mother in his LD line and his father in his W line. "Father, I'm sorry... Kagutsuchi, in the end, turned out useless..."
He's just a baby.

The Takamagahara Family potentially being a display of narcissistic parenting and the effects it has on children is interesting to me, so now you need to read my jumbled thoughts!
Susanoo is the rebellious problem child who is seen as an embarrassment by their parent, Tsukuyomi is the forgotten middle child who is often ignored by their parent and keeps their head low, and Amaterasu is the golden child who is viewed as perfect and receives all of their parent's positive attention.
Narcissistic parenting and having a favorite child often leads to fighting or competition among siblings as we've seen with Amaterasu and Susanoo. As the golden child, Amaterasu has the most pressure on her to be perfect and she's also the one who suits Izanagi's ideals the most. Amaterasu could potentially hold animosity towards Susanoo because she learned the same views as Izanagi and she also views him as an embarrassment or she could be jealous of Susanoo because he's allowed to be himself while she's forced to maintain her image. Non-golden children like Susanoo often hold negative feelings towards the golden child as well either due to being jealous that they don't receive the same attention or praise as the golden child or because the golden child is too similar to the narcissistic parent. Susanoo doesn't like Izanagi because he's a dickhead, Susanoo feels negatively towards his sister because she's like Izanagi, Amaterasu also feels negatively towards her brother because she's jealous or thinks he's a jackass, and BOOM now they're fighting. Simple.
Then there's the existence of the forgotten middle child, Tsukuyomi. Not much is expected of him like the golden child. He gets by on being average. Not perfect like his sister, but not a nuisance like his brother. He probably also takes issue with Izanagi's parenting too like most non-golden children do, but he keeps that to himself because he prefers not to rock the boat. Instead he resigns himself to quietly supporting and admiring Susanoo for rebelling against their father on the sidelines.
This all being based on the assumption that Takamagahara's fixation on appearances is based on the life and death myth and Izanagi being the true cause of it rather than Amaterasu, of course. I just like the idea of Izanagi being to cause of Amaterasu's and Susanoo's seemingly (we still have a potential Horus and Seth situation since nobody knows how they felt towards each other) rocky relationship because it's a common thing that happens to siblings raised by narcissists.

This is a really great way of breaking it down! When explained like this, I get the feeling that Hourai/Penglai’s flaw as a system means that it needs apathy towards permanently changing anything. Nüwa was caught in that cycle till it finally pushed her to leave the world altogether. We knew these things already about her, given MC’s confrontation with Fuxi in the main story, but I don’t remember too much conversation about how it relates to how her world functions. Because everything follows a single path, these cycles of strife are interminable and unavoidable.
Nüwa, however, isn’t apathetic. Because we only hear about her from other people (and thus their own biased perceptions of her), we don’t really know her actual personality. However, we know that she is someone who will take action. Whether it’s disrespect from an emperor, creating humanity, or her saving people from devastating, war-made catastrophes, she is proven to be someone who takes action. By the world’s design, such acts (whether driven from compassion or pettiness) did not matter enough to cause any worthwhile change. The fact that her own brother wouldn’t help (there was no desire to help) probably pissed her off, too.
In a world that doesn’t give a fuck about you at practically every turn, it’s no wonder that she left. How could she continue sharing her existence if even her own brother wouldn’t respect her by taking action alongside her. With no support in such an eternally uncaring world, it was only a matter of time before she would exile herself. It’s why it was so important for Fuxi to make that turnaround by the end of his fight with MC in the main story.
At this point, Fuxi has experienced billions of loops within Tokyo. It’s been full of incredible strife. He’s been subjecting himself to a similar pattern as Nüwa once had. Granted, much of the reason was likely to be reunited with her in some way, but in doing all of this he comes to understand her struggle in a way that he has no choice but to look inwards like:
Tumblr media
It’s a helluva way to realize the importance of giving up, but his letting go shows a desire to move on. Now, the World Rep has been changed in a way that he can’t just reset. In his capacity for compassion, he ends up going against the very apathy that once held him still. It helps that he also recognizes the MC for who they are, and wishes to see them as an equal in the future. The whole thing is so very compelling, thematically speaking.
I still dont understand how Hourai world works.
I think @justlarkin have a more detailed explanation about it
All I know is Horai is basically a war zone following the exile of Nuwa
