Bob Hope in the 1940 Census
Roles in 1940 Ace Lannigan in Road to Singapore Larry Lawrence in The Ghost Breakers
Bob Hope and wife and baby have moved into a new North Hollywood home. According to Bob, "It's really a very swell place from what my wife tells me." Actually, between picture work and radio rehearsals, the master of the house has yet to see it by daylight. As soon as his present Paramount picture is completed, the actor's going to take a week's vacation, and he'll do nothing but stay at home.

Irene Dunne in the 1940 Census
Film Role in 1940 Ellen Arden in My Favorite Wife
Note: Husband Francis Griffin reported information to the census taker.  Knowing the bi-coastal relationship of Irene and husband Francis, likely the census taker failed to ask if it was Dr. Griffin's permanent residence to begin with.  It looks quite strange though that he's there, but he's crossed out.
