Have you seen the Netflix original series âTales of Arcadia: Trollhuntersâ?
Only Season 1, I really need to catch up at some point. Itâs not that I donât enjoy it, I actually think itâs quite good and Iâm curious to see where it goes. I just suck at staying up to date on stuff, lol.

How does Bulzar hunt? Is he an ambush predator or the type to run his prey down till it's too exhausted to run or fight back anymore?
Bulzarâs not great at sneaking up on his meals, sinceâŚwell, heâs frigginâ MASSIVE. Itâs hard to be stealthy when youâre the size of a building and your footsteps literally shake the ground you walk on. It doesnât help that heâs a rather impatient fellow. XD
The fact that heâs so large means he can cover a lot of distance in a short amount of time without breaking a sweat (in the scorching heat, no less). So, his usual hunting strategy is chasing down his prey until he overtakes them or tires them out. Even if they manage to hide or escape, his powerful sense of smell means he can follow their scent trail from a distanceâŚ

Does Miko like lithops? They're a kind of desert plant that look almost exactly like rocks except for when they bloom their flowers.
He probably wouldnât even notice them given how well camouflaged they are, plus theyâre so tiny compared to him. But he would be absolutely delighted if you pointed them out to him, and heâll definitely keep a closer eye out for them to watch the flowers bloom. ^^

How did Milo get his name? Was it his motherâs idea or Bulzars? Or maybe it was a team effort?
Iâd say a team effort. Bulzar probably came up with something close to Miko while they were cycling through names, while Demeera was the one to finalize it.
Quoting @amanofhamm here: âDemeera was def the brains of the two but i think when it came to their baby boi they were both all hands on deck. Even if Bulzar isn't always playing with a full deck đâ

Has anyone ever tried to poison Bulzar before? How do Meradons handle poison? I imagine their large size means youâd need a HEFTY dosage.
For Meradons in general, poison is one of the few reliable strategies to take them down (and unfortunately a common one among poachers). Their insides are much more vulnerable than their heavily armored outsides, so itâs possible to subdue them with toxins meant to be inhaled or ingestedâŚalthough it would take an absolutely MASSIVE dose of something seriously potent.
The hunters who successfully captured Bulzar were able to incapacitate him with knockout gas, allowing them to physically restrain him. But in the end, it wasnât enough to keep him restrained for long, and they were left at the mercy of a very angry and very, VERY hungry escaped MeradonâŚ
On a lighter note, Bulzar has accidentally poisoned himself on a few occasions by eating something he really shouldnât have. Thankfully his guts are strong enough to prevent any permanent damage, even though it gave him a serious bellyache. XD

If Miko refuses to eat meat would he also refuse to eat insects? I imagine thereâs no shortage of scorpions in the desert for him to munch on. Then again those are arachnids, not insects.
Miko doesnât readily eat insects, but given how imperceptibly small they are compared to him, heâs probably eaten some by accident. Itâs bound to happen if he doesnât see them clinging to the plants he was munching on. If he did notice one in his food, he would immediately react like someone finding a fly in their soup.
Heâs a curious lilâ rascal, so even if he wonât eat them, he does like hunting for insects and arachnids large enough for him to spot. Itâs a common occurrence to find Miko turning over rocks to find critters underneath, lying on his belly to observe scorpions and camel spiders scuttling by, or catching pretty butterflies (he lets them go after because heâs a good boi).

Hey I just saw your post about an anon going missing and I donât wanna go missing to so Iâll keep this short quick and simple
Does he digest his prey first to get all of his fat kinda like how a bear would eat a crap ton of food and hibernate to keep there body fat until they get skinny early spring which is when they start munching again
Or
Does he have a ton of prey in his gut and over time does he just slowly digest them kinda like a sarlac pit or Jean jacket from nope slowly getting nutrients with time but not really needing food for a long time
Or
Am I wrong about all this lol and he just keeps a crap ton of prey in his gut until heâs full and just doesnât eat a ton ďżź
Maybe not as simple as you hoped, you forgot to mention who this is referring to. XD
Just kidding, I assume youâre referring to Bulzar and how he stores fat. I mention here that Meradon digestion is relatively quick, so definitely the first option, with the exception that he doesnât hibernate (although he does get very lazy and sluggish after a meal).
Also because I find the second option DEEPLY unsettling.

Does Rameses have any favourite snacks?
âIâve always been partial to melons! Theyâre such a sweet, refreshing snack, especially on the hottest days when thereâs not a drop to drink for milesâŚwhy, do you have some for me?â

Whatâs Meradon digestive systems like? Like does it take weeks for a meal to fully digest or is it within just a few hours, like humans?
Depending on what and how much the Meradon ate, it takes anywhere from a few hours to a week for a meal to fully digest. Meradon stomachs are quite powerful and can easily break down tough material like bones and tree bark. That said, it takes a LOT to fill them up, so unless the Meradon is completely engorged, meals donât take very long to process compared to the super slow digestion of snakes and crocodiles.
That said, they are very efficient at storing nutrients and fat in times of scarcity, so the nourishment they get from meals lasts them a lot longer. Plus, they REALLY donât like wasting food, so most Meradons will eat as much as physically possible if thereâs plentiful resources.
Bulzar is especially greedy even for his species, so expect him to show signs of bloating for several days after a feastâŚin part because he loves his between meal snacks. XP

Louis looks like he would be good in a theatre company...
He's just so dramatic
I donât doubt he would, heâs certainly hammy enough to fit right in. XD
Iâm just gonna share this clip, because itâs absolutely spot on for Lou taking up musical theatre: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hTaTVhGmXZ4&pp=ygUYSnVzdCBhIGJpdCBtaXN1bmRlcnN0b29k

What were Demeera's view on humans? Was she much like her husband, or was she friendly with any humans that might've crossed her path?
She was somewhere in the middle. Demeera was definitely not as aggressive as her hubby, but she was also not too fond of humans. Even before being captured by them, she was quick to learn how dangerous they could be despite how much smaller they were, and knew it was wise to keep her distance. So she wouldn't attack random humans who stumbled into her territory, but she would be VERY cautious. That said, she was prepared to go full "mama bear" mode in the case someone provoked her...

Some sketches of Bulzar's precious baby boi, Miko. He's an incredibly curious and occasionally mischievous lil giant who looks up to his big strong papa, but it's clear he inherited his kind heart from his mom. đ
He also refuses to eat meat and live animals, but he can get by on LOTS of fruits and veggies. You bet Bulzar won't let his son go hungry on his watch.

Are Female Meradons larger than Male Meradons? Kinda like how female spiders are larger than male ones?
Itâs the opposite, although the size difference isnât nearly as obvious as in spiders. Males are usually broader and bulkier, with Bulzar being a particularly hefty specimen right from the day he was born.
The easiest way to tell the sexes apart is by looking at their horns and teeth. When Meradons reach maturity, the males have longer, curved horns and more prominent tusks, while the females have straighter horns and shorter fangs. Miko has a strong physical resemblance to his mom now, but his horns and tusks will look more like his fatherâs when he grows up.

Now I'm really curious, what did Demeera look like? And did she keep her shackles on like Bulzar did after she was freed by him?
Just shared an image in this post!
And no, Bulzar helped break them open during their escape. She offered to do the same for him, but he wanted to keep them to show off to all the puny humans who cross his path, a symbol that no chains can hold himâŚ
âŚplus he thinks they look badass. XD
