We are Abyss Hydra or Blazing Kingdom system. We're a median system of many. We use they/abyss collectively. NPD, BPD, Autistic, bodily adult and white.

We coin a variety of terms usually focusing on medium between grim and light, terms that are neutral in theme or dark in some way without being too violent. Triggering content is rare and we try to tag it appropriately. We don't have any graphics, only flag and term description.

Our asks are always open and we're always happy to talk. Don't bring us discourse, you won't achieve anything. No DNI, we block if necessary.

MOGAIblr has a serious inaccessibility issue that isn't ever addressed, the majority of popular mogai blogs act like they're allergic to adding plain text, image ids and not using typing quirks that break screen readers and make it so even folks with the best eyesight cant read their shit, also, STOP USING FONTS HOLY SHIT, fonts break screen readers, make it so beings with dyslexia can't read the text, and even many folks with amazing sight have said that they struggle to read fonts.

There are multiple blogs you can tag for id help if you have low spoons/no energy, its not hard to make your blog readable, I personally have next to no energy but I will take the time to add image ids and plain text even to shitposts, its easy.

Also, a huge copying issue, so many popular blogs are trying to be the next squidthing (ignoring that squidthing is a shitty being whose blog was violently inaccessible) and will mimic squidthing down to the way squidthing typed.

Accessibility is more important than aesthetics, ALWAYS.

#And if the ID or PT in an itself is giant and can't be shortened in any way then the problem is with the image or text itself

How to make your mogai blog and coining posts more acessible!

^ plain text! Its very easy to add plain text, you should be adding plain text after: Large text, Italic text, Bold text, Underlined text, Text with a strike through it and generally any decorated text!

Image ids, an example would be this! I'll use this color shifted transfem flag as an example.

I understand that sometimes, ids can be hard if you're low on spoons or are colorblind, there are many blogs you can tag that will do the id! (@accessmogai, @mogaidescribed, and @mogai-transcriber are some of many! my boyfriend, @hauntedbeloved is okay to be tagged to do the ID if you're low on spoons or otherwise unable to do the id!)

Fonts, I understand fonts are pretty, but fonts absolutely wreck screen readers (including: not reading the text at all, glitching the screen reader, reading gibberish, completely shutting down, and for mobile screen readers, completely freezing the users device and forcing them to have to restart the device.), there are different ways to pretty up a post!

Symbols are a major screen reader breaker! Fancy symbols are also often closed symbols, so honestly, if you really wanna use symbols, use the standard QWERTY keyboard symbols!

MOGAIblr unfortunately has a rampant inaccessibility issue, so if this helps even one "big" blog be a bit more accessible, I'll be very happy.

Trying to be part of mogaiblr is so fucking exhausting, i cant fucking read the vast majority of these fucking blogs.

Theres so much eyestrain, bigger blogs never add plain text or image ids and refuse to translate typing quirks and their stupid fucking fonts hurt my eyes and break other peoples screen readers.

The big blogs refuse to aknowledge how inaccessible their blogs are to blind and visually impaired users who just want to look at their blog without the inaccessibility.

They always add links that they never tell you where they go and their rentries are unreadable and so full of fonts that it looks cluttered and ugly.

I want mogaiblr mutuals and to be active in the community but the vast majority of the community refuses to even think about being accessible or even just adding simple plain text.

I try to send them polite asks informing them that their blogs are inaccessible but they either respond with hostility or never respond and keep their blogs inaccessible, dont even get me started on uncalled for hostility and namecalling (yes im looking at you, blog that i wont name that called me an ableist term and refuses to aknowledge your transmisogyny.) or the rampant fucking racism, transmisogyny, ableism and so fucking much more.

Its possible to have a nice looking layout AND be accessible, my blog and @\begendered-queer are good examples, theres are multiple blogs you can tag if you dont have the spoons/energy to do a proper id (@\mogaidescribed @\mogai-transcriber @\mogai-transcriber are all active blogs)

i know i myself have been not very up to speed with image IDs and such but even for those who don't need to use screen readers and such what the actual hell are all those aesthetics accomplishing? why do we have to wade thru emojipastafied prose to figure out what your tags even are for. why are there like 30 stripes and frills and zigzags on your flags to the point that it's not even worth the effort to try and describe like some noneuclidean nightmare. oh but vanilla striped flags are "boring" okaaaay. for those of us with large undescribed backlogs it's understandable that it'll be a long task to get thru everything. but genuinely if someone can't accurately recreate it in a reasonable amount of time off a plain text description alone your vexillology SUCKS
