Have you checked out our 2023 prompt list yet? To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Free! series, we put together a prompt list highlighting some of the most memorable RinHaru moments of each installment ❤💙 There are so many iconic scenes and quotes throughout all the official material, that making this list wasn't as easy as it sounds! We had to make a lot of tough choices here, even over some of our own personal favorites.

So, we'd like to hear from you: what is your favorite RinHaru scene? What is the scene that made you ship them? What scene do you think about your friends finally getting to experience when you recommend the anime to them? Whether it's from the anime or the extra material (drama CDs, light novels, character songs), tell us what your favorite moment is, through a reply or a DM or however you like (anon asks are okay!), and we'll compile all of your responses for RinHaru Week 2023 🌸 Whether your favorite scene has been included in our prompt list or not, we want to hear from you! 🌟 Starting from July 3rd – Free!’s official anniversary – Wave of Memory is an event anyone can participate in! ✨

🌸 This event is about the endless ways we celebrate our RinHaru memories, and we’d love to see as many as possible. Perhaps you have a fic idea in mind, or you wish to reflect through a meta blog post – whichever it is, this is a chance to commemorate the memories shaping Free!’s past, present, and future. (You can find further guidelines on submissions here.)

💭 We are also excited to hear about your memories of the show and the fandom. Community takes memories and transforms them – Wave of Memory is equally a place to share stories about the RinHaru fandom itself.

🌈 We hope that you enjoy contributing in a way that is meaningful to you! Let’s all come together to share the RinHaru love ♡ Submissions will be accepted from July 3rd through August 13th – please use our hashtag #rinharumemories 🏊‍♂️

so in the recently released Free! fanbook, there's a huge character relationship chart showing the relationships between the 2343984 characters in this damn series.

Most of the arrows pointing from one character to another are solid and indicate, based on the color, how the first character views the other. Some of them have dotted lines connecting them, though, showing that they feel the same way about each other.

Haru and Rin both share a dotted line that says "Destined to swim together forever"
