Fuko wiped her eyes on her sleeve again and looked at Hitomi. She was glad that she was taking an interest and wasnt leaving Fuko alone. She smiled to herself.
Fuko tried to remember how many starfish she had. She counted on her fingers, and looked confused. After a while she seemed to come to a conclusion.
"Fuko had seven starfish!!" She held up seven fingers, lifting her shirt up at the waist slightly in the process.
Fuko and Hitomi the pervert
Fuko looked down at her bandaged knee in wonder. It didnt hurt as much now, almost as though the bandage had magic powers. She smiled at the thought of a magic bandage.
Fuko accepted the girls help in standing up and brushed the dirt off of herself when she was on her feet. As she brushed herself, she heard the girl mention starfish. Fuko was puzzled for a moment before she remembered that she was looking for her bag of starfish. Tears welled in her eyes again and she looked at the girl sadly.
“Fuko had a bag of starfish that she had carved, but she cant find them.” She told her. “Oh, and Hitomi is right, Fukos name is Fuko!”

"So Myaren and Fuko are now friends!" Fuko smiled in relief. She found it difficult to make friends due to the fact that people found Fuko strange.
As Myaren turned red, Fuko was suddenly struck by a thought. Maybe Myaren was feeling hot... ? Fuko wanted to help her new friend in the best way she could, so she thought of a solution.
"Fuko is wondering if Myaren likes ice cream? Because its Fukos favourite food and Fuko would love to eat ice cream with Myaren!"

After seeing how nervous Myaren was, Fuko nodded to herself. She was used to people having this kind of reaction when they first started talking to Fuko. Fuko wasnt sure why though, she didnt think she was a scary person. She gave Myaren her kindest smile to show her that she wasnt a scary person.
"Fuko thinks Myaren has a pretty name!" She exclaimed happily. She thought for a moment longer before speaking.
"If Myaren would like, Fuko wants to be friends with Myaren!" For the first time since being there, Fuko looked a little nervous, as though she was scared about her reply.

Fuko felt puzzled for a moment. "Fuko doesnt understand why Sagelo would get into trouble anyway when Fuko invited him in..." She said under her breath.
Fuko looked at him with excitement in her eyes. "Fuko and Sagelo are watching The super rangers!" She held out a dvd for him to examine. It was like a cheap version of the power rangers, and was very childish looking.

Fuko rubbed her eyes on her sleeve to stop herself from crying. She forced a smile and looked up at the girl. “Fuko isnt crying anymore!” She said.
She watched at the girl got out a first aid kit. Fuko was glad that she was trying to help her, and was reassured that she seemed to now what she was doing.
“Please do put on a bandage!” Fuko said. She hoped that the bandage would make the stinging pain go away.
She was aware of people walking past and staring at them, and she blushed a little. “Fuko is sorry for making you do this…” She said quietly.
