I'm such a creative fellow with my titles (lol). This is my submission for this year's sakurathon! As always, these events are lots of fun!

There are a number of scenes from TGCF that just stick with me and one of them when Hua Cheng first becomes a wrath.

Simply seeing Xie Lian in pain was bad enough—Watching other people willingly kill him over and over again was too much for that little ball of fire to handle.

It was added in as if it was a small detail in the scene, but I think it just punctuated how deep Hua Cheng's devotion runs. Everything he's done, both in life and in death, has been for Xie Lian's sake.

What if after Xie Lian loses his bad luck shackle, after all the years he spent trying so desperately to be a good cook, he discovers that his cooking is actually really reaaallly fantastic. As if he had cultivated the skill all those years yet couldnt express it till now. Like to the point that it causes chaos in a new way. Food so excellent it ceases Feng Xin and Mu Qing's arguments, convinces Qi Rong to stop being a fucking cannibal, makes Shi Qingxuan ascend again, and lets Ling Wen relax for ONCE. Xie Lian sends the heavens in disarray once more via good soup 👍

He Xuan operating his hive mind and using the info he gets to gossip outrageously with both Hua Cheng and Shi Qingxuan is canon to me I forget it’s not real.

His death was so brutal like, Scholar He, what do you mean you snapped and committed a massacre where you hunted down and ruthlessly butchered every person that wronged you in life? And when you died from exhaustion after the massacre, you still had so much resentment left that you rose from the dead as a cannibalistic ghost to get MORE revenge?? Became one of only three supremes in existence??? Died broke and in crushing debt, came back, and killed the god of wealth???? Ohhh he’s nasty, alright.
