are you going to continue golden wings? i want yo know what happens with arzham
Nope, the fic is finished.
[RANT BELOW]
Honestly, I’m fighting with myself to not delete parts ll and lll and just leave part l. I don’t like how part lll turned out and I hate that it doesn’t do justice to part l. I feel like people were excited about the story after reading the first part and I let them down with the rest of the fic. But I know it’s part of the process, I’m still new at writing, so I know it’s bound to happen that I make mistakes. And even though part lll hasn’t had as much support as the others, it’s still wild to me that so many people like my works.

Note
Hello babe! I know you are busy with college but can you write a Jennaxreader? It can be fem!r if you want.
J and r meet in an internet page and they become friends but r doens't know who J is until much later. J starts calling r Otter so r calls her Little Raven.
R is studying archaeology abroad and J is shooting Wednesday. She is having a hard time so R decides to surprise her travelling to Romania.
Tim wanted to use the nickname little raven for W but J refused because that is a special nickname for her (also she has a necklace/bracelet that is a raven that r gave her) The cast is courius about it but J never told them why. When r comes she calls her that and the cast teases J because now they now. They end up kissing.
Make it as fluffy as you want and feel free to change or add anything you want.
Beeean, I miss you. I didn't know you were back on Tumblr. I don't know when I will have free time but I will write it as soon as I can.

Golden Wings Part IIl
Pairing: Wednesday Addams X Reader
Word count: 3k
Summary: You're a new student at Nevermore. What happens when you get involved with Wednesday's stalker mistery?
Here you have the las part! I'm not really happy with how it turned out but I hope you still enjoy it. Like always, if you see a mistake, please let me know.
Almost a week passes after the truth is revealed. You look and feel like a zombie. Every day is the same for you: get up, shower and dress; then classes, lunchtime (you don’t eat, you just go to your dorm and lay on the floor until it’s time to go to class again) and then do homework, dinner (you sometimes eat something, but usually you just push the food around the plate) before going back to your dorm and try to fall asleep just to repeat everything again.
You can't stop thinking about Enid’s words. I can’t believe you used her as Tyler did. You didn’t know who Tyler was, or what he did, so you asked Nihan about it. “Tyler was an idiot. He was the hyde that helped Thornhill. Apparently, he feign being in love with Wednesday so he could keep an eye on her. Something happened between them that helped her discover who he really was.” After those words, you felt sick. You used her, you were just as bad as him.
You’re in your room, thinking about everything that happened. It’s really worth it? You were tired of everything. Since Aarzham adopted you, the only thing you’ve been doing is training, studying and more training. He prepared you to be a leader, to help Faes to be safe again, but you never wanted that responsibility, you just followed his directions because you were angry about your parent's death. You thought that if you did something to change that, to make this world safer, you would feel better. But now, you lost the only thing that gives you comfort, you hurt your friends, your founded family, and you don’t know if you can forgive yourself for that.
You’re so lost in your thoughts you don’t realise someone has entered your room until you see someone sitting beside you on the ground. You don’t look up, knowing is Nihan. “I don’t want to talk Nihan. I appreciate that you’re worried about me, but I’m fine.” “It’s good to see you have someone that cares for you, but sorry to break it to you birdy, you don’t look ok.”
Your head snaps to your side, seeing Bianca. You sight in defeat, looking at the ground again before talking. “If you’ve come to mock me don’t bother.” She says your name softly while holding your hand. “Look at me.” When you do, she continues talking. “I’ve come here because I’m worried about you.” You look at her with warry, “Why? Why do you care?” “I think you deserve a second chance. What you did wasn’t right, but I don’t think you wanted to hurt us. I think you should talk with Wednesday. I know it will be hard, but ask her for a chance to explain yourself.” She sighs when she sees you still don’t trust her. “You don’t know this, but when Wednesday came I was terrible. I thought I was better than anyone in the school and I was mean to a lot of people, especially to Enid. After what happened with Crackstone, they gave me a second chance, an opportunity to show them that I wasn’t that person any more. Our mistakes don’t define us, remember that when you decide what to do.” She gets out of your room, leaving you there to ponder her words.
In the end, you decide Bianca’s right. You appreciate them too much to not try and make things better. You go to the quad, hoping Wednesday would be there. You see her sitting at the table with the rest of the group. You’re not sure if you should go or not when Yoko sees you and whispers something to Bianca. After that, everyone except Wednesday gets up and leaves. Enid gives you a look that you’re sure translates as if you hurt her again you’re done, but she leaves with the rest anyways, so you consider it as a win.
When you approach, Wednesday looks at you, speaking with a cold tone. “You have two minutes.” You gulp down before taking a seat next to her. “I’m sorry, I promise I wasn’t planning anything against you or the school.” Wednesday stays silent for a couple of seconds, and you're about to continue talking when she beats you to it. “I know, I had a vision of you, that’s how I knew what you were up to.” You look at her with wide eyes, not knowing how to react. You ask her what she exactly saw, and after she told you everything, you speak again. “Then you know why I did what I did. I know the way I did it was awful, but I didn’t know what else to do.” You’re looking at the table, afraid of looking at Wednesday. “What was your plan?” When you give her a confused look, she continues. “I know you wanted the book, but why? What were you planning to do with it?”
You explain everything to her. How Aarzham wanted the book to harness its power, so Faes would be stronger, and how some vampires and werewolves agreed with your idea that normies were a danger to outcasts so they decided to help you. You tell her everything you know. When you finish, Wednesday looks at you with her usual deadpan expression. “I suppose you don’t know what’s the plan after getting the book?” “Uhmm, no, Aarzham never told me. He thought it would be best if I just focused on getting the book.” “Well, I investigated after discovering the truth. Apparently, Aarzham wants to attack normies. Get rid of them so outcasts can live freely.” “What? No. Aarzham would never do that. It’s true that he hates normies, and he wants to protect us, but he would never do that.” He wouldn’t do it, right? He’s a good man.
You don’t want to believe he would start a war with the normies. He’s like a father to you, he’s the man that raised you, helped you become stronger. He’s a warrior, but he’s never been cruel, he always helps Faes that need it. Starting a war and killing so many innocent people doesn’t fit with the picture of him you have. You must have been thinking for a few minutes because Wednesday puts her hand on your shoulder to grab your attention. “I know you don’t want to believe it’s true, but I think he will do anything to stop them. Harvesting the power of the book is not the answer.” You know she’s right, and you don’t want to fight with innocent people, but you don’t have many options. “Then what? I need to do something, my people are suffering Wednesday. I need to keep them safe, I can’t let more normies discover our sanctuary. If they do and get out alive, we will be doomed.” By now tears are streaming down your cheeks, you’re frustrated and tired and scared. You’ve always known what to do to keep them safe, but now you feel lost and alone. “We will find a way, I can promise that to you.” Your eyes go wide after hearing her words. “You’re going to help me? I thought you hated me.” “As much as it pains me to admit this, I’m afraid I’ve fallen victim to my family's curse. I don’t think I could hate you even if I tried. But, that doesn't mean we’re fine, it will take me time to trust you again.” You nod to her words, knowing this would be a long journey, but you’re happy she’s giving you a second chance.
After the talk, you decide to go back to your room, but stop when you see Enid at the entrance. “I wanted to talk with you.” You nod a little bit nervous. “I’ve talked with Yoko and Bianca and they have helped me understand why you did it. I’m sorry for growling at you, after last year I feel very protective with Wednesday. But, if you hurt Wednesday again, I will kill you.” “I will give you the knife myself.” “Good, because I miss spending time with you.” You smile after that.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
You spend the next weeks investigating spells with the group, trying to find one that will allow you to cast it on your sanctuary to protect it from harm until you find a better solution. You and Wednesday have grown closer, her feeling more comfortable with you every day, and it’s making your heart flutter when you think about everything she does to show you she cares for you. Like when she gets your favourite food from the cafeteria every Monday and Friday because she knows you get late for lunch those days and the plate runs out very fast, or how she snuggles closer to you after a long night investigating in the Nightshades library, both of you to tired to go back to your room to sleep. She still hasn’t told you where the Book of Shadows is, or what its contents are, but you’re not too mad about it. You know the book it’s not your only option now, and she’s helping to keep your people safe.
Nihan, Cyra and Liam are helping you too. You knew you could trust them, even though Liam gets on your nerves sometimes. They kept the werewolves and vampires that were in the plan in check so you would have time to find a solution without having to worry about them. But you’re still worried about Avalie. She’s always been against you, jealous that you were the leader and not her. You know she’s dangerous and you’ve been trying to keep an eye on her, in case she decided to do something stupid, but for now everything went well, too well honestly.
You’re in the quad chatting with Enid while you wait for dinner when Weems comes to you. “Miss Y/L/N, you have a visit.” She gets to the side and you see Aarzham. He opens his arms, beckoning you to hug him. “Let’s get for a stroll to the forest, I want to have a chat with you.” Enid looks at you with worry, but you give her a reassuring smile before following him. Once you’re out of earshot, he stops you. “I was worried about you. I haven’t had news from you in a while.” You smile at him, grabbing his hand and giving him a reassuring squeeze. “I'm fine, I’ve just been busy.” “How is the plan going? Avalie called me a couple of days ago. She sounded concerned about it.” You stutter for a couple of seconds, cursing her in your mind. “It’s fine. There was a little problem but it’s solved now.” He grabs your chin, making you look at him. “You know you can’t lie to me. I want the truth.” He’s still soft, not wanting to hurt you.
You ponder for a minute before deciding to tell him the truth. “She discovered the plan, but she’s still willing to help.” He smiles, letting you go. “Good, where’s the book? We don’t have time to spare.” “She’s not going to give me the book.” He’s going to retort, but you stop him. “She told me what were your plans afterwards. Is it true? You’re planning on attacking every normie?” “Yes, they’re dangerous! We need to stop them before they get more of us, or you have forgotten what they did to your parents?” He adds when he sees your face fall. “Of course not! I can see it every time I close my eyes, but killing innocent people is not the solution Aarzham.” He takes a step back, hurt showing in his eyes. “I didn’t raise you to be weak Y/N. I didn’t want to believe Avalie when she told me that Addams girl poisoned your mind, but now I can see she was right.” “Aarzham, there’s another way, it has to! If we kill them without mercy, we will be just as bad as them.” He takes another step back before looking at you with a determined expression. “I’ve been waiting all my life for this opportunity, and I’m not going to let anyone ruin it. If I have to fight everyone that tries to stop me I will. I love you Y/L, you’re my child, that’s why I’m giving you time. If you haven’t changed your mind by Friday…” He takes flight before finishing the sentence, leaving you broken in the forest.
You start walking aimlessly. Wednesday was right, he’s too afraid to think rationally. Your heart aches thinking about what just happened, knowing the man you knew and admire wasn’t the same now. You stop when you arrive at the cemetery. Without realising, your feet have carried you to Crackstone crypt. The door is crooked and the crypt is full of vines. You feel something familiar calling you from the inside. It feels like the power it runs through your veins, just a hundred times stronger. When you enter, you see Wednesday sitting on the ground, the Book of Shadows in her lap. When she sees your state, she gets up, the book still grasped in her hands.
“Y/N, what happened?” “Aarzham came to visit me. He won’t stop Wednesday, he will hurt you.” “I will be fine, I can protect myself.” You shake your head. You know he won’t stop. No matter what you choose, one of them will get hurt, but you can’t choose. He’s still your father but you love Wednesday. There’s only one thing you can do. “You don’t get it Wednesday, I can’t fight any of you.” She whispers your name, taking a step closer before she’s stopped by vines growing around her. “I’m sorry.” You take the book before running to the forest.
Wednesday shouts to you, anger fizzling inside her. Thankfully Thing is with her so he helps her to get out of the vines. She’s hurt that you betrayed her again after everything that had happened between you two. Wednesday was thinking how she was going to stop you and Aarzham when your words resonate in her head. I can’t fight any of you. You're not going to give him the book. What she’s go- Oh no, tell me she’s not going to do it. She runs as fast as she can, her legs burning from the effort. It’s dark outside, making it difficult for her to see where she's going. She’s almost in the clearing she thinks you’re at when she sees a burst of light, golden wings shining for a moment before everything goes black again.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
You open your eyes, seeing you’re surrounded by nature, a large tree with blue sap planted in the middle. You hear your name but you don’t know where it comes from, your head feeling fuzzy and heavy. You turn around, trying to find the source of the voice. Behind you, there’s a Fae with majestic wings. They’re really colourful, but they have golden, black and white feathers scattered around. It’s almost as if all types of Faes were mixed in them. You gasp when you realise who is she. “Hello.” You whisper her name, not knowing what's going on. “I am dead?” She chuckles with fondness before answering you “Not yet. You have a decision to make.” When you still look at her confused, she continues. “I’m here to give you a chance to go back.”
You sit on the ground, confused as to what is going on. Lilith comes closer to you. “Why? I destroyed your book. Are you not angry about it? You gave your life to create it.” “And you just gave yours to destroy it. I created that book because I thought it would help Faes to be safe, but I didn’t realise fear is more dangerous than those who seek to harm us. Why I should be angry when you gave your life to protect your family the same way I did for mine?” “I don’t think I protected them.” “I wouldn’t say that.” Suddenly, you hear Wednesday talking in your mind. Don’t you dare give up on me now! I’m sorry it took me so long to let you in, but please, come back to me, I can’t lose you. Your heart thumps faster after hearing her.
Lilith smiles, knowing you understood the meaning of her words. “Faes are not the only family you have now.” “You can bring me back?” “For a price, yes. If you decide to stay, you can reunite with your parents and live happy with them. But if you decide to go back and face the dangers that will come, you will lose your powers.” You muse about your choices. You miss your parents and you would have given anything to be back with them before, but that would mean not seeing Wednesday or any of your friends again. If the universe is giving you a second chance to be with her, you’re not going to waste it, even if it means losing your powers. You will still miss your parents, but you know now you will be able to reunite with them in the future, for now, you’re going to spend as much time with Wednesday as possible. Lilith smiles when you tell her your choice, bidding you farewell before helping you to get back.
When you open your eyes, you see Wednesday looking at you with tears in her eyes. Your head is on her lap while her left hand grasp yours with strength. She starts to say your name when you prop up with your arms, grab the back of her neck and push her closer to you in a short and sweet kiss. “I love you Wednesday Addams.”
You don’t know what’s going to happen next, but you’re sure as hell you’re going to spend the rest of your life by her side. The rest, well, you will figure it out when the time comes.

Don't worry darling
Pairing: Jenna Ortega X Fem!Reader
Word count: 2.41k
Summary: You have a surprise for Jenna's birthday, but soon your plan falls apart.
I've written this while being sick so I'm sorry if it doesn't make a lot of sense. Like always, if you see a mistake, please let me know.
You walk to the entrance of Wednesday’s set with a huge smile, going through your plan in your head. Today is Jenna’s birthday and you’re so excited about it. You greet your teammates while you go to the dressing room, where you spot Jenna’s bag on the corner. Making sure the room is empty, you walk to it and stick a little note inside, before leaving your own bag and walking out.
You see Jenna and the rest of the cast chatting in one of the lounge areas. You’re walking to them with the idea of saying happy birthday to your girlfriend but Tim stops you midway. “I need to go through one of the scenes with you, we’ve made some changes.” You slump a little, bummed that you won’t be able to talk with Jenna before starting to work, but you nod and follow him nevertheless.
You spend the next few hours running around the set, shooting your scenes and changing outfits when it’s necessary. By the time you finally have a reprieve, it’s almost lunchtime. You’re a little disappointed. You knew today was going to be a very busy day and you wouldn’t have any scenes with Jenna, so you wouldn’t be able to talk with her until work was finished. But, you thought at least you could be with her a little before starting.
You look around, trying to find Jenna, knowing that she should have finished shooting her scenes by now too. You don’t see her, but you do see her parents and her sister Mia waiting at the entrance. A smile forms on your lips. Jenna told you how much she’s been missing her family and how she wished she could spend her birthday with them. You wait in your spot, wanting to see Jenna’s reaction when she sees them. As you expected, Jenna immediately runs to them with a happy expression. They exchange hugs and a few words before you hear her dad saying they had a reservation in her favourite restaurant for lunch.
Your face falls a little after hearing that, your plan falling apart.
You and Jenna started dating a couple of months ago but no one knew about your relationship yet. You’re Jenna’s first girlfriend, so when you started dating she asked you for a little time for her to come out. You obviously agreed, knowing how hard it can be, especially being actresses.
So, for her birthday, you decided to have a picnic where you asked her to be your girlfriend. It was a clearing in a forest near the city. Not a lot of people knew about it, so you knew it would aloud you to have a little alone time without having to worry about someone recognising you. It’s ok, we can still have the picnic in the evening. She deserves time with her family.
You talk with some people for a while before deciding to call it a day and go back to your apartment, knowing Jenna would meet you there after reading the note you left in her bag. You just got your things when you hear Percy and Georgie talking. “Everything is ready. Her parents will drive her to the party after they finish lunch.”  You approach them with a confused face. “You’re throwing a birthday party for Jenna?” Percy looks at you surprised. “Yeah” “Oh, no one told me. Where it is?” Georgie looks confused while Percy has a smug look. “Yeah well, that’s because you aren’t invited.” “Percy!” Georgie looks at him with anger. You have a dumbfounded expression. You don’t know how to feel about it. You’re angry at his words, you know Percy feels something for Jenna, he couldn’t be more obvious about it, and he’s jealous of you so you think it’s his doing. But then sadness and hurt washes over you. The whole cast knew about the party, and they haven’t told you anything. You started working on Wednesday just three months ago so you’re not really close with them yet, but you thought they were your friends.
You start walking fast to the exit with your head low, trying to stop your tears. You’re almost outside when Joy stops you with her hand on your arm. “Hey, where you’re going? I tho-” She stops herself when she sees your state. “Y/N, what happened?” You yank your arm from her before storming out, leaving Joy very confused and worried.
She looks where you came from, seeing an angry Georgie talking with Percy. She gets closer to them, knowing they’re the reason why you left like that. “What the hell happened?” “Nothing, she’s just too emotional!” Georgie is fuming after hearing Percy’s words. “This idiot here didn't tell Y/N about the party. She heard us talk about it and when she asked Percy told her she wasn't invited.”
“You did what?” The three of them jump when they hear Jenna. Percy starts sputtering nonsense, trying to justify himself before Joy interrupts him. After telling her everything Jenna takes her phone from her bag with the intention of calling you but sees a note falling to the ground. Curious, she grabs it, seeing your handwriting on it. She had planned a surprise for me. How I didn’t think about it?
She turns around and starts walking to the exit without saying anything. She wants to get to you as fast as possible, knowing how hurt and disappointed you have to feel right now. She fetches her car’s key from her bag with the idea of driving to your house but her parents stop her. “Jenna, what’s going on? Where are you going?” “Later.” Before she can continue, her dad takes the keys from her hand. “You’re too shaken up to drive safely right now. Tell me where you need to go and we will drive you.” She wants to protest but she knows she won’t win, not with this, so with a sigh, she gives him your direction.
When they arrive, Jenna opens the door with her spare keys. She calls your name without a response. When she enters the living room she finds another note on the table. Jenna loves mysteries, so your idea was to leave notes with clues in them around the house. She chuckles when she reads the note.
Look where we failed the first time.
FLASHBACK
You and Jenna arrived from work an hour ago. You just got out of the shower and see Jenna lying on the sofa scrolling through Netflix. “Hey there.” She greets you with a pout. “What happened?” “I ordered pizza but I forgot I wanted cookies.” You laugh at that. When Jenna was tired, she acted adorable. “It’s ok baby, we can place another order for them.” “But we can’t! It’s too late.” You look at the clock to see that she’s right. It’s 11:13 pm and the max time to place orders it’s at 11. She’s still pouting and your heart melts at it. “Aww. I’m sorry darling.” You kiss her temple after that, taking a seat on the sofa and putting her legs on your lap.
You stay in silence for a couple of seconds before she talks again. “Can we bake some?” You’re going to say no when you see her looking at you with a hopeful expression. “Love, we don’t know how to bake. I can’t even cook pasta without fucking it up and you expect us to make cookies?” “Please?” When she gives you puppy eyes, you sight in defeat. You can’t say no to her when she does that. “Fine, but you’re cleaning tomorrow.” Jenna squeals in excitement before getting up and going to the kitchen.
You search a recipe and take out all the ingredients while Jenna preps the oven. Everything went fine until you put the cookies in the oven. The pizza arrived at that moment and you two completely forgot about them until a burned smell spread through your apartment. “Shit! The cookies!” You go running to the kitchen, turning off the oven and getting the cookies out. They were completely burned. Jenna laughs when she sees your face. “I think we both failed at baking love.” She kisses your cheek before helping you clean the kitchen.
END FLASHBACK
Jenna starts searching the notes. Inside the oven, under the coffee table, inside the bathroom cabinet, behind a painting in the hall… Finally, the last clue brings her to your room. On top of the bed, there’s a box. She gasps when she opens it. Inside there’s a beautiful summer dress that she’s been wanting for a long time. She takes it out of the box, admiring it with a soft smile. Suddenly she hears a whistle. She looks at the door to find Mia and her parents looking at her with smiles on their faces. She was so wrapped up in your surprise she forgot her family was with her. “I suppose you and Y/N are more than friends?” She looks at her mom with wide eyes before gulping down. “We’ve been together for two months now.” She’s nervous about their reaction, but she’s relieved they finally know. She loves you too much and she’s tired of hiding. “She looks like a keeper, you better treat her right.” She smiles after that, knowing that her family fully supports her.
She looks back to the dress, wondering where you at, when she notices another note in the box. “I know where is she. Can you let me change before driving me there?” Her family nod before closing the door.
Thirty minutes later, they arrive at the spot. Jenna hops down before the car fully stops, ignoring her parents’ protests, and starts running with her heels in her hands. You’re seated on the ground, face full of dried tears, while you look intently at the small stream in front. You whip your head to the side when you hear her yelling your name. Her body collides with yours and you feel her lips.
The kiss is fast and a little desperate with all your hurt and her worry rolling off in waves. After a few seconds (or minutes, you don’t really know), you start to slow the kiss, enjoying her warmth. You give her a few short pecs before looking at her with a lovestruck expression. “Hi” She giggles before greeting you. “What are you doing here? I thought you would be at your party?” Her hands are on your cheeks caressing them and you lean into her touch, wanting to feel her as close as possible. She sighs before looking at you with soft eyes. “After we finished lunch I realised I left something in the set. When I got back, I saw Georgie and Joy arguing with Percy. They told me everything. I’m so sorry darling.”
You flinch a little after hearing his name, still angry and hurt. She kisses your temple, before resting her forehead on yours. When you talk, your voice is weak. “You shouldn’t have come here. You should be having fun with your friends at your birthday party.” “Hey no, look at me please.” You do what she asks. “I prefer spending my birthday with my amazing girlfriend in this beautiful place than at a party. I should have known that you had prepared something. Sorry for not thinking about it.” “Stop apologising, it’s not your fault. But, you should go to the party, they worked hard for it.” You give her a smile, feeling better after hearing her. “Come with me.” You stammer a little after that. “I don’t think they want me there Jen.” “I’m sure that’s not true. But, even if it was, it’s my birthday and I want you to be there with me. I have an incredible girlfriend to show.” You look at her with wide eyes after that, afraid that you misunderstood her. “What? You’re sure? I don’t want you to feel press-” She kisses you before you can finish.
“Jenna, we are running late!” She turns her head to throw daggers at her sister. You giggle, before getting up, offering your arm to her. “Well, we can’t have that can we?” She smiles, seeing how your mood has improved, before wrapping her arm in yours and start walking to the car. “I’m sorry it took me two months to tell someone about us.” “Don’t worry darling, I would wait forever for you to be ready.” You kiss her cheek before entering the car.
When you arrive at the place the party was held, you get a little bit nervous, but you calm a little when you feel Jenna’s hand intertwine with yours. Emma and Naomi come to greet you both. “There you are! We thought you got lost.” Emma has a playful grin and you bark a laugh at her words. “And miss the party? Never pup.”
You enter the local, your mouth hanging open looking at the decorations. The party is held on the roof, the breathtaking view of the city getting your attention for a minute. Everything is decorated in blue, white and gold, giving it a sophisticated look. “This is amazing girls.” You nod at Jenna’s words, still taking everything in. When everyone comes to you so they can congratulate her, you take a step back, giving them space.
You walk to the end of the roof, resting your hands on the glass fence, and look at the city. You feel a presence on your right and when you look, you see Georgie with a remorseful look. “I’m sorry about earlier, Percy was in charge of the guest. We all thought you already knew about it.” You give him a small smile. “It’s ok.” You talk for a little bit before Jenna comes you your side. She grabs your hand before talking. “Want to dance with me?” You pay attention to the music and realised a slow song is playing. Your smile widens and you nod, letting her drag you to the dance floor in the middle.
You look at each other through the whole song, and when it finishes, Jenna gets close to you, kissing you soft and slow. You can feel your cheeks grow warmer when you hear some cheers from the cast, but you don’t pay them any attention, deciding instead to deepen the kiss. In the end, a little embarrassment it’s worth it if you can continue to kiss Jenna.

Golden Wings Part II
Pairing: Wednesday Addams X Reader
Word count: 2.99k
Summary: You're a new student at Nevermore. What happens when you get involved with Wednesday's stalker mistery?
Warnings: Small description of murder, blood.
At first this was going to be the ending but I swear this fic is just getting longer and longer. I promise next part will be the last. Like always, if you see a mistake, please let me know.
Wednesday grumbles while walking back to school. When she arrived at the spot her stalker told her to go, she found a piece of paper on top of a rock. Gotcha was the only thing written in the note. She was fuming. Right before entering the school, her phone rings. It’s a new photo of her with rage painted on her face while walking back, with a message below.
You really thought I was that stupid? Thanks for the fun.
“I’m going to kill them the moment I discover who they are.” Thing signs in agreement, before scurrying to her backpack, not wanting to receive her anger.
Walking through the halls in silence, you try to stay in the darkness, not wanting anyone to see you. You look at your watch again 23:57 Perfect. You open the door carefully, sticking your head inside to make sure it’s empty, before entering. You go directly to the darker side, starting to rummage through the drawers and the closet. When you don’t find it, you start looking under the bed. You’re still looking when you receive a message.
Unknown 00:14
She’s going back to her room
You curse under your breath before getting out of the room. Right as you're arriving at your dorm, you see a shadow coming towards you. You stick to the wall as much as you can, trying to not make any noise. When the figure gets closer, you can see is Wednesday. Fuck, that was close. Once you’re sure she won’t hear you, you return to your room, sitting at your desk and opening your literature book, pretending you’ve been studying the whole time.
After a few minutes, your room door opens. You spin in your chair, seeing Wednesday standing there. “Wednesday! You’re ok?” You ask her while dragging her inside. “Someone has broken into my room.” “What? Is Enid ok?” “Yeah, she’s spending the night at Yoko’s.” “You’re ok? What happened? What did you find?” “It was a waste of time. They only left this stupid note.” She slaps the note into your desk in anger. “They’re mocking me. I’m sure whoever entered my room works with the stalker. That’s why they wanted me out.”
You curse on your head. You didn’t want Wednesday to realise that. You were planning on leaving everything back in its place, but with the rush, you didn’t have time. “You’re sure it wasn’t the stalker?” “Yes, they send me a photo of me walking back to school. They didn’t have the time to enter before I arrived.” Fuck, that wasn’t in the plan. “What they would want from your room?” “I have an idea.” She doesn’t elaborate more, and you don’t press, not wanting her to start being suspicious of you.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
You’re pacing in the cemetery, your wings enveloping your form to try and keep you warm. It’s the crack of dawn and even though is not winter yet, the days are starting to be really cold. You’re just going to give up and start to go back to school when a boy comes running to you. “Sorry! I have fallen asleep.” You huff in annoyance. “Liam! I’m going to kill you! You had to rile her up didn’t you?” “Woah, relax, it’s not that bad” He takes a step back when he sees your eyes glowing green, something that happens when you let your powers run through you. You’re seriously thinking about killing him now. “You fucked up big time! She’s in alert mode now! If we’re not careful, she will find the truth. And we can’t let that happen, not now at least.”
He has the decency to look a little bit guilty. Your plan was foolproof, at least it was until Liam decide to get on Wednesday’s nerves and make her more focused on finding the truth than what you wanted. “Tell everyone the plans have changed. It’s not in her room anyway.” “So… What do we do now?” You look at Liam in silence, trying to think of a better plan. You sight before slumping your shoulders. “I don’t know, I need time to think. For now, stay undercover. I will tell you when I figure out something.” He nods before walking away.
You sit on the ground, your back against a statue. You feel lost, not knowing what to do was driving you crazy. You can’t continue with the stalker idea, you and Wednesday had spent the whole night trying to find something, and you know she won’t give up now. Where can it be?
FLASHBACK
You settle into your bed, excited for your bedtime story. “What story wants my little warrior tonight?” Your mother asks while tickling you. You giggle, trying to get away from her before answering. “Our story!” Your mom huffs. You always ask for this story. You don’t know why, it’s not happy, but you love it.
“Long time ago, the first Fae was born from the roots of the Tree of Life. Lilith, as she was named, grew in harmony with nature. She was good and caring, helping those who needed it. Some of the people she helped decided to stay with her and form a little community, and for years, they lived happily.
One day, a group of men that lived in a near village arrived. They had heard stories about the sanctuary and the Fae that lived there and wanted to see it with their own eyes. Lilith welcomed them with a smile, but that was a mistake. The men grew jealous of her power, they thought only their God could be so powerful. So, they went back to their village and told everyone a twisted story that portrayed her as a demon so people would fear her.
They invited everyone that lived in the sanctuary to eat in their village, with the excuse of getting to know each other better, so they could kill them. When they arrived, the villagers led them to a fairly large wooden building, telling them that there was where the dinner was held. Once all of them were inside, the doors locked and smoke started to fill the building. In mere minutes, everyone except Lilith died. Full of rage, she unleashed all her power, killing her murderers, and ran as far as she could.
She tried to start a new life in a witch community. There, she fell in love and had a precious child, a Fae just like her. But her heart was full of fear. She wanted to protect her new family, afraid that they would be killed too. With the help of a very powerful witch, she created a book that contained every spell and magic she knew, so future generations would be able to protect themselves if they needed to.
But that knowledge came with a price. To create the book, she needed to use a lot of energy. Lilith gave everything to her to create it, ending her life.”
END FLASHBACK
You stay in the cemetery for hours. You don’t want to go back and have to pretend with Wednesday. For a moment, you wish you never started this. But it’s the right thing to do, you know it. You need the book, a lot of people depend on it.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s been two weeks since the cemetery day, and you can tell everyone is growing anxious. You haven't spent a lot of time with Wednesday, she’s been pushing everyone away, too focused on discovering the stalker’s identity. You tell yourself the feeling that creeps into your chest every time you think of Wednesday is because you’re afraid of what she can discover without you knowing, and definitely not because you miss her.
You’re walking to your dorm when you see Avalie approaching you. “We need to talk.” You look around, making sure no one is looking at you, before grabbing her arm and yanking her to a more secluded area. “What do you think you're doing? Someone could see us.” You hiss. “It’s been too long, The Elders are losing their patience. We need to do something.” “I know! Fuck, I know okay. But thanks to Liam, Wednesday has been obsessed with the stalker. I haven’t talked with her that much. So until I discover where the book is, we can’t really do anything.” “Then make sure you know it soon.” She tells you before walking away. You run your hand through your hair, trying to calm down.
Wednesday looks at you with a curious gaze. During these weeks, she’s noticed that she’s been followed by animals; a bird when she’s in the quad, a squirrel in the forest… She knew it was you, you’re the only one in Nevermore with the ability to talk with animals. She was planning on confronting you about it when she saw you talking with Avalie. Why were you talking with that vampire? What did she tell you to make you so angry? Her mind starts reeling, trying to find the answers.
That evening, Wednesday calls you to her room. She’s been thinking about the talk the whole afternoon. Her mind won’t stop telling her that you’ve been playing with her, working with the stalker while feigning ignorance in her company. For the first time, she hopes she’s wrong.
You knock on her door, trying not to smile. When you received the message earlier this afternoon, you couldn’t stop the happiness that spread through your body. You missed spending time with Wednesday. After hearing a muffled come in, you open the door, seeing Wednesday writing. “Just a minute, I’m finishing my writing hour.” You nod, even though Wednesday hasn’t looked up from her typewriter, before walking to Enid’s bed, sitting there.
Once she finishes, she spins her chair, facing you. “I asked you to come here because I wanted to apologize. I’ve been too focused with my stalker and I been pushing you away.” You look at her with surprise. You never thought she would apologize to you. “It’s ok Wednesday, I know you. I’m not mad, but I appreciate it.” You give her a smile to try and reassure her that everything is fine. “Good. We should go to dinner then.” You hum in agreement. You two get up, but you stop when Wednesday doesn’t follow you to the door. “You’re coming?” She gets closer to you before answering. “Yes, I just need a minute to tidy my desk. Wait for me at the table.” You nod before you exit the room.
What you fail to notice is Wednesday’s fingertips grazing your jacket right as you walk out. She still doesn’t have any control over her visions, but she hopes she will see something if she touches you. She gasps as her head jerks back, a vision starting to form in her mind.
A younger version of you appears in front of her, you’re about seven years old, Wednesday notices. Your wings’ colours are very light, almost as if they were gold and your horns still haven’t grown yet, but it’s definitely you. You’re watching a movie in a living room. Her family home. Wednesday looks around, trying to figure out why she’s seeing this. A weird feeling latches in her chest. Something is wrong. Before she can dwell on it, she hears a loud crashing noise coming from outside. A woman enters the room running, approaching you with terrified eyes. “Go to the kitchen and hide in the pantry, behind the boxes on the floor. Don’t make a sound until we tell you.” She kisses your forehead before gently hurrying you out.
Wednesday wants to stay in the room, try to figure out what is going on, but a force pushes her in your direction, her vision going blurry for a moment. When everything goes clear again, she’s behind the boxes with you. She can hear the commotion outside of the house, men yelling Demon! and Kill him! A gunshot is heard followed by a cry of pain. There’s a small gap between the boxes, Wednesday can see part of the white floor in front of the pantry, and she knows you can see it too. Suddenly the door of the kitchen opens and she can hear footsteps getting closer. There, get her! A couple of men pass in front of her, before another gunshot is heard. Blood seeps through the ground, tinting the floor red.
The men roam through the house, trying to see if there’s anyone else. You’re trembling, crying silently while your wings envelop your form, trying to give you a little comfort. Wednesday’s so focused on you that she doesn’t realise the noise has stopped until a figure appears in front of her. “It’s ok, you can come now little one. They’re gone.” She can see the figure has a pair of dark wings. Another Fae. You seem to realise the same, because you immediately get up, watching the Fae in front of you closely.
The vision changes after that. She’s in a forest, tree houses surrounding her and Faes flying above the trees. Wednesday feels like home for a second, even though she knows she’s never been here. Suddenly her mind understands what’s wrong. The electrifying feeling she gets every time she’s in a vision is not there. These visions are not like what she’s used to. She usually feels like she’s physically in the moment. But now, she feels like a simple observer. It almost feels like a memory. Your memories.
She walks towards one of the houses unconsciously. Inside she can see another version of you. You’re older here, probably around ten. The man from the last vision is with you. “Why do I have to train today too? It’s Sunday Aarzham! Can we do something fun?” “You need to train Y/N. One day, you will be a warrior as good as me. But just if you train.” You drop your shoulders in defeat but you give him a small smile. “I thought I was already a good warrior.” He chuckles before looking at you seriously. “You’re powerful, more than anyone here. You will be able to save us from those that want us dead. But until then, you will train every day.” You nod, already getting up to go outside.
The scene changes again. You’re still the same age, but you’re seated on the ground, a notebook on your lap. Aarzham is beside you on a chair. “Aar, why you decided to adopt me that day?” He has a stoic expression, but Wednesday can see softness in his eyes. “You saw something that no kid should, but you still got up. You didn’t let it crumble you, you took that experience and used it to make you stronger.” “You really think I can help us to be safer?” “One day, you will be the most powerful Fae, and you and I will change our history for the better.”
The world spins, making Wednesday a bit dizzy before it calms down. You’re inside the house with Aarzham again. He’s cleaning a wound on your cheek. This time, you look very similar to how you look now. She’s probably just a year or two younger here. “What is The Book of Shadows?” You ask with a soft voice, almost afraid he will get angry. “How do you know that name?” “I heard you talking with The Elders.” He sighs, throwing the bloodied gauze into the trash. “You know Lilith’s story?” “Of course, it was my favourite story when I was a kid.” “The Book of Shadows is her creation.” You give him a surprised look. “I thought it was just a myth.” “It’s real, and now, I know where it is.” You give him a curious look.” “The book was in an amusement park in Jericho but was stolen a couple of months ago. I believe it is somewhere around Nevermore.”
The vision changes one last time. You’re in the forest that surrounds Nevermore. A group of werewolves and vampires listen to you while you give them instructions. “Cyra sent Wednesday a text on the last day of school. She’s probably going to focus on her stalker this year, which will allow me to get closer to her and find the book. Liam, Cyra, Nihan and Avalie will rotate to send Wednesday the messages. This way, it’s more difficult for her to find the truth. The rest, keep an eye open, if you see something suspicious, tell me.”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
You’re worried about Wednesday. Last night, while you were waiting at the table in the dining hall for her, she sent a message to Enid, telling her something happened and she needed to go back to their dorm immediately. You haven’t seen either of them since then. You pace through your room, trying to decide if you should go to their dorm and see if they’re ok. After what feels like hours, you decide to go.
You knock on their door, not expecting to see an angry Enid growling at you. “Whoa Nid, calm down, it’s just me!” “Exactly” The words are more of a deep growl than anything. You look at her confused, not understanding anything.  “Enid, what’s going on?” “You don’t need to pretend you’re our friend anymore, Wednesday knows you just got close to us so you could get Goody’s book.” You get pale when you hear her. No,no,no please. You open and close your mouth like a fish out of the water, trying to say something, anything, to explain yourself, to tell her that even though that was your reason at first, you truly appreciate them now.But the words are stuck in your throat and Enid loses her patience. “I can’t believe you used her as Tyler did. I thought you were different.” She gives you a hurt look before closing the door. You stay frozen in place for a couple of minutes, your eyes burning with unshed tears.

Golden Wings
Pairing: Wednesday Addams X Reader
Word count: 2.34k
Summary: You're a new student at Nevermore. What happens when you get involved with Wednesday's stalker mistery?
Hello. First time writing for Wednesday so she's probably OOC here. Like always, if you see a mistake, please let me know.
A/N I have used the look of the Dark Faes of Maleficent 2 for the story (Picture here) The story happens after season 1 of Wednesday. Everything happened the same except Weems death.
You welcome the cold feeling of the stones in your wings. You’re facing the quad, your back pressed to the wall as much as you can, trying to avoid contact with other students. It’s the first day of the semester at Nevermore, and your first year here. After the defeat of Crackstone, the school got a bigger reputation among the outcast, making it more crowded than before. You feel the looks that some students give you, whispering among themselves. You can’t blame them, it’s not every day that they see a Fae between them.
Your kind tends to stay reclusive, just interacting with yourselves. It’s been like this for a while. You’re one of the oldest types of outcasts that exists, and one of the most dangered. Your ancestors were persecuted before the others, being an easy target because of your appearance. Your wings and horns always made normies uncomfortable, and your powers on the elements caused fear. They would call you Demons, using that pathetic excuse to kill you all.
Nowadays, just a few of you survive, living in small packs. In the north, the Tundra Fae, white-winged humans that can control the weather. In the south, the Desert and the Jungle Fae. They both can speak with animals but their appearance is different. While the Desert have light brown and black feathers, the Jungle Fae have very colourful ones. In the west, the Forest Fae, the smallest pack. Their wings tend to be dark brown and they can control plants.
You’re a bit different though, your parents were a Forest and a Desert Faes, so your wings and powers are mixed. Your feathers are different tonalities of brown. From a very dark one, to an almost sand-like colour that when hit by sunlight becomes golden, and your horns are tall and twisted, like black tree roots.
You listen to director Weems’ speech, welcoming all the new students, before grabbing your class schedule and your dorm key from a teacher. Ophelia Hall, room 45, tells you before going away. You look everywhere, trying to find the way to your room. You ask for directions in the main hall, but it’s packed with noisy students making it impossible for you to understand them.
You wander a little bit, trying to find the way on your own, when a student stops you with a hand on your shoulder. “Hi, I’m Enid! You look like a lost puppy. Need help finding your dorm?” A tall blonde asks you. She has a bright smile on her face, jumping on her toes from excitement. “Yes please.” She starts walking to your dorm, you by her side. “OMG. I’m sooo excited for this year! You’re a Fae right? I’ve never met one before! How come you’re here? Not that I don’t want you here is just that I’m curious. You are a quiet one, aren’t you? Sorry, I know I can be a little overwhelming, my roommate always tells me I talk too much.” She says without breathing, giving you an apologetic smile. You have yet to speak, looking at her with widened eyes.
You arrive at your dorm, opening the door and letting Enid inside. It’s small, with just a single bed, a small closet and a desk. “An individual room. How lucky! I have to go now, I will see you around.” You sigh when the door closes, a little bit tired. You unpack your things, happy that you don’t have to share a room with anyone, and decide to rest on your bed for a little before grabbing dinner.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next morning, you go to your first class. You sit at the back, not wanting to draw attention. You’re doodling in your notebook when Enid comes to you. “Hi!” “Hi Enid” “I’m happy to see you here! Also, I forgot to ask your name yesterday.” You look at her before telling her your name. She starts rambling about how you are going to have most of the classes together when the professor enters and Enid is forced to go to her table. Just as he was going to introduce himself, a short ravenette girl enters. She mutters an apology before searching for an empty seat. The seat next to yours being the only one free.
You look at her in silence. Her skin is pale, her face dotted with cute freckles around her nose. You can see she has a little bit of dirt on her cheek. Before you can continue gawking at her, she looks at you with a murderous look “What?” “Oh, nothing! You just have a little bit of dirt on your cheek.” You stutter before paying attention to class.
You spend the rest of the class in silence, taking notes and muttering under your breath the answers to the questions. Just before the class ends, the teacher announces you will need to do a group project for the next week. Everyone gets excited and starts to choose their partners. You look around the class, trying to find someone to join.
“Howdy roomie!” “Enid, don’t” The ravenette says with a warning tone. “Oh come on Wednesday! You have to do the project like everyone else.” “I prefer jumping from our balcony than wasting my time working with these poor excuse of humans” “Well if you say so, but I thought you wanted to keep your academic record perfect.” Enid says with a grin. You see how Wednesday slumps for a second, before going back to her stoic pose. “Fine, but I won’t take responsibility for my future actions” “Don’t worry, it’s just me, Yoko and Divina. You can join too if you want” Enid says to you. “Thanks” You give her a little smile before grabbing your backpack and following them out.
You meet Yoko and Divina in your next class. They’re nice, and you think you can become friends easily. They don’t really mind that you don’t talk a lot, so you feel comfortable just hearing them talk and humming from time to time to let them know you’re listening.
They invite you to seat at their table for lunch. After grabbing the food, you go to the quad, seeing that Wednesday and Enid are already seated at the table with other people. “Guys, this is Y/N, she’s a new student. Y/N, these are Bianca, Ajax, Xavier and Eugene.” Divina says before taking a seat. You give them a little wave and a smile. “Can I ask something?” You ask looking at the group. All of them, except Wednesday, look at you and nod “I thought you would sit with your own kind? Don’t get me wrong, is nice to see you interact with others. It’s not like that for us.” “We used to spend most of our time with our own, but after what happened last year, we all became closer.” You nod and start eating, their conversations going to the back of your mind, when Enid’s question grabs your attention.
“Oh, Wednesday! I forgot to ask you before! Where were you this morning? You usually don’t get late for class” “I went to the forest to try and find a clue on the stalker” She says in her usual monotone. Well, that explains the dirt on her cheek, you think before realising what she just said “Wait, what? You have a stalker?” She gives you a deadpan look “Yes” “How can you be so chill about it?” “It’s thrilling actually. The school would be boring without a mystery to solve” Enid grimaces “Wednesday, I think we all had enough mysteries last year. I still think you should tell Weems about it.”
She’s going to retort when Bianca speaks, trying to change the topic. “So Y/N, why you decided to come here?” “Oh well, after the incident with Crackstone, some Faes thought it would be good if we start interacting more with other outcasts, but they’re still afraid of normies. I decided coming here was a good start. I could show them that it’s not that bad.” You answer rubbing your neck. They ask you a few questions about Faes before you all finish your food and go back to class.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
After dinner, you find yourself in the greenhouse again. You’ve been coming here every day for the three weeks you’ve been in Nevermore. You love feeling the power of the plants surrounding you thrumming through your veins, it makes you feel as if you were back home. You’re lost in your thoughts when you hear the door open.
Getting up from the floor, you walk to the entrance, where you see Wednesday with Thing perched on her shoulder. “Wednesday? What are you doing here?” “I need your help in the woods.” You make a confused face. It’s true that during these past weeks, you’ve become close with all of them, especially with the girls (While working on the project, you bonded). But, you and Wednesday haven't had a lot of interactions. You’re both quiet and she’s very reserved, even more so than you, so you thought that if she needed help she would ask Enid or Bianca, not you.
“What happened?” “The stalker is getting more aggressive. They started to threaten the group, including you, and I haven’t been able to find anything about them.” She says with an exasperated tone. This is the most emotion you've seen her express, which lets you know it’s a serious matter. “Ok, what do you need me to do?” “They have been sending me these photos.”
She gives you her phone, where you can see a bunch of photos of her with your friends. The latest one is of her, Enid, Bianca and you returning from Jericho. “It’s from this evening. They had to make it from the forest near the road. Maybe there’s a footprint or something that I can use to track them.” “Have you tried tracking the phone where the messages were sent?” “Of course Y/N. I’m not a rookie. They use a burner phone.” You raise your hands in surrender after seeing her murderous look. “Ok, ok. I was just saying. I will help you, but why me? Why not Enid?”
She walks out, looking back at you “Come on, we don’t have the whole night.” You follow her to the woods in silence, waiting for an answer. “After what happened last year, I’m not taking any chances. I don’t know what is the stalker, and I don’t want to put them in any more danger. You are stronger in nature. If they decide to attack us tonight, I know you can protect yourself.” “So you only chose me because of my powers?” You ask a little upset, feeling like she’s just using you. She sights, stopping before looking at your eyes. “You are extremely intelligent Y/N. I heard you in class, you know all the answers. So no, I haven’t chosen you just because of your powers. Now, can we stop this sentimentalism and focus on our task at hand?” She starts walking again without waiting for an answer.
The rest of the way, you two walk in silence, alert for any suspicious sound. When you arrive at the point where you think the photo was taken, you split to try and find a clue. The ground is uneven and full of rocks, making it hard to walk without tripping over. The rain from these past days makes the rocks slippery, and you almost fall a couple of times before something catches your attention. “Wednesday! I have something.” “In one of the rocks, there are three fine scratches. “Claws. Your stalker is a werewolf.” You say with a little smile. “They probably tripped and used their claws to hold themselves.”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s been a month since that night. You’ve been helping Wednesday as much as you can with the stalker, whether it’s analyzing the photos for any pattern, looking around the school for anyone suspicious or covering her when she decides to leave school. But since that night, you haven’t been able to discover anything else. You just know that they’re a werewolf, and a student at Nevermore.
You two don’t talk that much, preferring to work in a comfortable silence, but spending so much time at her dorm has helped you know a part of her that she usually doesn’t let other people see (like how she interacts with Enid, she’s way softer with her when the door is closed), and you can’t help but start to feel warm when you think about her. Unbeknownst to you, Wednesday’s feeling a similar way. She trusts you completely, which is rare for her. But she knows you wouldn’t cross any boundaries with her. She likes that you give her space when she needs it, and you always try to make her feel comfortable.
You’re in her room when she receives a new message from the stalker. You see how her eyebrows furrow when she reads it. “What is it? It’s another photo?” You ask worried when Wednesday doesn’t say anything. “No, they want me to go to the woods at midnight.” “They told you why?” “They want to make this ‘game’ more interesting. They will leave a clue in there for me.” “Well, I suppose I will meet you in the greenhouse tonight then.” “No. They want me to go alone. If they see someone with me, they won’t leave the clue.” “What? You can’t be serious right now Wednesday. It could be a trap! I’m not letting you go alone.” “I won’t, Thing will follow me. If I’m in danger, he will help me.” You sight, knowing you can’t change her mind. “Fine, but I will be awake in my dorm just in case you need me.”
You go to your dorm after that. You lay on your bed, disconnecting the phone from the charger, and see the screen flash with a new notification.
Unknown 16:30
The bait is ready
You reply quickly before turning it off.
Be careful, Thing will be with her

Maybe Christmas it’s not that bad
Pairing: Jenna Ortega X Reader I wrote it thinking of fem!reader but can be read as gn!reader
Word count: 3.35k
Summary: You end up spending Christmas with Jenna and her family.
Hi! This is my first time writing, so sorry if this is bad. Also, English is not my first language, so if you see a mistake, please let me know.
A/N I know it's too late (or early) for a Christmas fic, but this idea popped in my head and I had to write it. Hope you enjoy it!
You look at the Wednesday cast. You can’t contain the small smile that appears on your face when you see them all laughing and having a good time, chatting about their plans for the upcoming Christmas holidays. Your eyes land on Jenna, like they tend to do. You love seeing her like this, so relaxed and carefree.
Suddenly, you feel a hand on your shoulder, seeing Emma with a smirk looking at you. "What are your plans for the holidays y/n/n?" Your smile disappears after hearing the words, without much of an idea of what to answer. "Hmm, not much, just a nice and calm dinner with some friends." The lie rolls easily, and you’re happy that she doesn’t ask anything else before going back to talk with the rest.
See, the thing is, you don’t really like Christmas. You loved it when you were a kid, with all the gifts and special foods. But when you started to grow up things changed. Your parents didn’t get along really well with your other relatives, so dinner with the rest of the family was always filled with uncomfortable tension. You were forced to talk with people that basically didn’t care for you, just to keep the happy little family facade that everyone knew was fake, so your parents would be happy. It was exhausting. Plus, your economic situation wasn’t good, so you stopped getting presents at the age of 10. In the end, Christmas started to feel like an obligation. Seeing everyone be so excited, knowing that they had a good time with their families just added an extra bittersweet feeling. It made the longing to experience something like that stronger, and you hated it.
You excuse yourself, too distracted thinking how you will be all alone again, to notice how Jenna looks at you with a frown. You close the door to your trailer with a sight, ready to take a shower and go to bed, wanting nothing more than to have a little bit of peace. Right as you get out of the bathroom you hear a knock on your door. "I’m coming." You yell, a little confused as to who it could be. When you open the door you see Jenna and Emma. "Come in." You say while opening the door a little more.
Once the three of you are seated on the couch you wait for one of them to start talking. "We wanted to talk with you about earlier. We noticed how you felt a little uncomfortable after asking you about Christmas. Just wanted to make sure you’re ok." Emma says softly. "I’m fine, just a little tired." " Y/n, don’t lie to us please. There’s something bothering you. If you don’t want to talk about it it’s fine, we were just worried." Jenna tells me.
You stay silent for a minute, thinking if you want to tell them the truth. They already know a few things about your past, but they don’t know the whole story. In the end, you decide to tell them. You exhale before starting. "You know I don’t have contact with my family anymore. But, the truth is, I don’t really talk with anyone else apart from you. I didn’t have a lot of friends back home, and I’ve been so focused on Wednesday, I haven’t had a lot of time to meet new people. My plan was to stay here. I don’t really like Christmas, so I don’t mind if I don’t celebrate it." You shrug trying to play it down.
After you tell them how were your Christmas before cutting the ties with your family, they share a look of understanding before Emma starts speaking. "Well, there’s no way we’re going to let you stay here alone for the holidays. We can talk with our families and we can stay here with you. Make it special so you can finally have good memories of it."  "What?" You say shocked. "No way. I’m not letting you stay here just because of me. You haven’t seen your families in months, and I know how excited you two were to see them again. I will be fine, I promise." You say crossing your arms to emphasise how serious you were. "If you’re not going to let us stay here and we’re not going to let you stay alone, I think the only solution is for you to come with one of us." Emma nods to Jenna’s words.
You think about it. It would be nice to spend the holidays with people, and you already met Emma’s family through a video call a few months back. But still, you don’t want to be a burden. "Y/n, please." Emma gives you puppy eyes and you can feel your resolution crumbling. "Ok, ok, if your family is ok with it, I will go with you." You say. "Oh please, my mom fell in love with you since the two of you met. She will be happy to have you over."  "And, if not, you can always come with me." Jenna adds with a smile.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next morning, while you’re in makeup, Emma comes to speak with you. "Hey y/n. I’ve talked with my mom about you tagging along for Christmas."  "Uh, ok? Did she say yes? That’s why you’re grinning like the Cheshire cat?" You ask a little confused. "Unfortunately, we will have more family than expected, so you can’t stay."  "Oh, ok. There's no problem. I will just stay here."  "Oh, you won’t. You will stay with Jenna."  "What? I’m not going with her Emma, I don’t know her family!" You say a little panicked. "Too late. I’ve already spoken with her and she said there’s no problem for you to go with her. I’m sure you will have a lot of fun." She says winking at you. Before you can think of an answer, Emma has already left the room. What the hell? You think before realising what just happened. Emma knew about your crush on Jenna, so she framed you to spend the holidays with her. I’m going to kill her when we finish the show.
You spend the rest of the day nervous. There’s just a couple of days before the holidays start, and you don’t think you’re ready to be at Jenna's house. "Hey, you’re ok?" Jenna asks you. "You’ve been a little distracted today."  "If I’m being honest, I’m really nervous about Christmas."  "Why?"  "Well, I don’t know your family. What if they don’t like me?" You say scratching your neck. "Y/n, don’t worry, they will love you." She gives you a reassuring smile before talking with you about the details of the trip.
The rest of the days fly by and before you know it, the day of the trip comes. You and Jenna spend the whole trip making plans for the holidays, since there’s still a week left until Christmas. Jenna tells you a little bit more about her family, and by the time you get to her house door, you feel you’ve known them for a long time.
Her mom is the first to hug Jenna, while you step aside not really knowing what to do. As soon as they separate, her mom comes and hugs you too. "It’s so nice to finally meet you, Jenna won’t stop talking about you!" Both of you blush while Jenna whines "MOM! Stop it!" After the introductions, you look around the house. It’s nice and cosy, with the Christmas decorations filling the hallways and the living room. The tree hasn’t been decorated yet, waiting for the whole family to be together.
Before showing your room, Jenna shows you hers. It’s smaller than you imagined it. Just a double bed, a desk and a built-in wardrobe. On the wall above the desk, there’s a corkboard full of photos of Jenna with her family and friends, movie tickets and other different items. "It’s my memory board. I used to save things of special moments and then I would pin them on the board." Jenna explains when she sees where your eyes are. You get a little bit closer, looking at everything with intent eyes. You love the idea that a lot of Jenna’s important moments are present on the board.
You point to one of the photos of her with her siblings, all of them making funny faces. "What was happening here?" She chuckles before answering "That was our second easter with the twins, they wouldn’t stop crying so we started to make funny faces so they would laugh. Dad thought it was really cute and snapped the photo without us knowing it." You smile, imagining the scene. You spend a little more time talking about the different photos before deciding to take a nap before dinner.
Dinner is great. Her parents are really good cooks and all her family is really easy to talk with. You spend the whole time laughing at the banter of Jenna’s siblings, loving the happy atmosphere of the house. After you eat, they decide it’s a good time to decorate the tree, so you all move to the living room. You sit on the sofa with her parents, watching with a smile how the siblings argue about which decoration they should use. At one point, Jenna gets on top of Mia, trying to steal one of the ornaments that Isaac has. You laugh, before taking a picture, an idea for Jenna’s present forming in your head.
Jenna comes to you after giving up, a soft smile on her lips. "Come on, you have to decorate the tree with us." She says while offering her hand to you. You take it, loving the warm feeling spreading through your chest, joining the siblings. Without you knowing, her mom takes a picture of you.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next morning, you two decide to go for a walk, so Jenna could show you her favourite spot in the city. "What do you think about my family?"  "They’re great Jenna. I love how all of you interact. Especially you with your siblings."  "Really? They can get really annoying when they want, which is always. If you haven’t realised, we spend the whole time bickering."  "I think is really cute. It shows how much you care for each other." You say with a smile. Jenna looks at you, her eyes curious. "What?"  "Nothing, I just… I would love to see the world through your eyes."  "Why? It’s not that interesting, I just see what others see." You say without understanding her.
Jenna drops the subject, guiding you to a hidden spot beside the road. It’s covered by trees, but once you pass them, you can see a bench facing a cliff. "Wow, it’s beautiful." You say. From where you stand, you can see the city below, surrounded by the desert. You sit down, enjoying the comfortable silence.
After a few minutes, Jenna starts talking. "Can you tell me a little more about your childhood? I know you don’t like to talk about it, but I’m curious."  "What do you want to know?"  "What was your favourite thing to do?" You think for a couple of seconds before answering. "I loved watching movies in the dark, I would wrap myself in a blanket and sit on the floor with the lights off. I could spend hours that way."  "That’s so cute! I used to do blankets forts with my siblings and watch movies inside."  "I always wanted to do that."  "Wait, you’ve never built a blanket fort?" Jenna asks you a little shocked. "No, I always watched it in movies and I thought it look really fun, but I never had the chance to try it."  "What else you’ve always wanted to try?"
You two spend a couple more hours talking before heading back to the house.
For the next few days, you pass the time with her family, playing games in the garden with her siblings, helping her mom cook and getting to know Jenna a little more. You also took a lot of photos for Jenna’s present. You were thinking of creating an album, including photos since the two of you met until Christmas.
It was December 22, and the family decided to go shopping for Christmas gifts (I know it’s too late, but imagine you can buy them without a problem) You were talking with Markus when you see Jenna looking out the window of a jewellery store. There, in the front, was a beautiful necklace of a raven with his wings opened, a small blue stone on his beak. You know Jenna has had a little obsession with ravens since she started Wednesday, so you make a note to yourself to come back later and buy it.
You all end up separating so you could buy the presents for everyone. After a few hours, you only needed to buy the photo paper and the necklace for Jenna. You had talked with her dad a few days ago, and he let you use his printer for the photos. Once you got everything, you go back to the house, hiding the gifts in your room before anyone could see them. You decided to have a quiet evening, a little tired from socialising so much this past days.
You’re just scrolling through Instagram when Jenna knocks on your door. "Hey, you’re busy?" You look at her, noticing how she seems excited. "No, I was just being lazy, you want something?"  "I have a surprise for you." Jenna leads you to the living room. When you enter, you see that the sofas have been moved, so there was space for a blanket fort. "You told me you always wanted to try it. I know you haven’t made it, but they can be a pain in the ass to build sometimes, and I wanted it to be perfect." You smile at her, your eyes shining with love. "Thank you, you didn’t have to." You say with a soft voice. You enter the fort, seeing all your favourite snacks and Jenna’s laptop already prepared for a movie marathon. You stay there, curled at Jenna’s side, until late in the night.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The last day flies by, and Christmas Eve arrives. You spend the morning in your room, wrapping the gifts, only having to finish Jenna’s present. You sort the photos in an album on your phone, adding the ones her parents took for you, before deciding which ones you want to use. You decided that you would put the photos in a box instead of an album so if Jenna wanted, she could save them in her corkboard. After you print them, you put a nice decorative paper inside the box. But, you’re not quite happy with it, it’s like something is missing. That's when an idea pops into your head. Jenna told you she wanted to see the world through your eyes, so you decide to write what was going on in your mind when the photos happened.
The dinner that night is awesome. It’s the best Christmas you ever had, and you can’t wait for tomorrow. "Oh, we forgot to tell you!" Jenna says when you are finishing. "We usually open the presents when the clock strikes midnight."  "Yeah! we can’t wait until the next morning. Too much excitement!" One of her sisters adds. You smile, before reassuring them that it’s ok.
You all get the presents and take a sit in the living room. Her parents are the first to give them, loving to see their children's excitement. You cry when you open your gift. It’s nothing special really, just a few hoodies from your favourite artists, but your chest feels like it’s going to explode from happiness, so you thank them sniffing, with a huge smile on your face.
After a while, it’s Jenna’s turn. She gives you two presents, one is a rectangle, and you immediately know it’s a book. The other is a small box. "Open the big one first." Jenna instructs you. You unwrap it carefully, seeing the cover of your favourite book. "It’s a special edition. I know how much you love it." When you open it, you can see that some pages have artwork on them. You want to thank her, but she shushes you before nudging the second present.
When you open the box, you can’t fight the tears that start to fall. Inside, lays a silver bracelet with an infinity symbol in the middle. It’s exactly like the one your Granny gave you. Your grandmother was the only person in your family that you really loved, and that bracelet was the last present she gave you before she died. You told Jenna how you loved it, but unfortunately, the bracelet broke a few years ago, and you really missed it. Jenna knew how important it was for you, so she search everywhere until she found it. "I know it’s not the same but-" Before she can finish, you hug her. "It’s perfect, thank you."
You clear your tears before giving your gifts. You’re nervous, you want them to be perfect as a thank you for giving you such a good Christmas. Everyone likes them, thankfully, so you relax a little bit. You look at Jenna, wanting to see her reaction. You just give her the necklace, wanting to give her the photos when you two are alone. A gasp leaves her mouth when she sees it. "I know you’re a little obsessed with ravens lately, and I saw you looking at it that day." You say as an explanation for the gift. "You know, some people believe ravens give bad luck." She tells you with a playful smile. "Sometimes, but to others they symbolize rebirth and starting anew, serving as a positive sign. I think that belief fits better for you." She smiles, before asking you to help her clasp the necklace.
You all stay talking for a while, before her family decides to go to sleep. It’s getting pretty late, but you ask Jenna to stay with you. "I have another gift for you." You tell her when she gives you a puzzled look. You give her the box, nervous about her reaction. When she opens it, she finds a little card
I hope this helps you to
see the world through my eyes
She lifts the decorative paper, seeing all the photos, each one with a number on them. She takes the first one. It’s a selfie of you two. You took it after the first day you two met. "Turn it around." You tell her in a soft voice, not wanting to change the soft atmosphere.
I knew since that moment that you were going to be one of the best things in my life. You were the first person to really see me. You didn’t judge me, or force me to talk, you just stayed close and waited for me to come to you. You brought a happiness into my life that I never thought I would have. Thank you.
She whispers your name after reading it, tears already forming in her eyes. She looks at you, before looking back at the box. You never stop looking at her while she reads them all, taking both of you on a trip of your relationship. The one where the cast of Wednesday fills the space, with smiles on your faces after the first week of shooting; Jenna with her siblings decorating the tree; Jenna hugging you from behind, with her arms on your hips, watching the tree after decorating it; you giving Jenna a piggyback ride in her back yard…
When she finishes reading them, she looks back at you, with a look of adoration in her eyes. You stay like that for a while, neither of you wanting to break the moment, before she grabs your cheeks and gives you a soft and chaste kiss on the lips. "Is this ok?" The words get stuck in your throat, so you kiss her softly again, a smile on both of your lips.
Maybe Christmas it’s not that bad
