I know it's unrealistic but I need the antagonists of the Knuckles series if they have any connection to robotnik beyond stealing his tech to be jilted exes in the sense that robotnik ditched them for Stone. Like Stone is a jealous possessive henchman sure but I would find it fucking hilarious if we find out all three of them had their chance at robotnik's side and for some reason or another Robotnik just said nah my latte boy is better, fuck off.

Like the three in various ways running into Stone but instead of Stone getting jealous and pissy he's smug as shit because he won he got to stay robotnik picked him and they got kicked out.

I just want them to be jealous of Stone and Stone living for it.

Well I kinda headcannon that boos when they find that special someone/someones they fuse together into one entity. The process for boo and boo is simple just combine their magical/spectral energy and if the relationship is strong then they form the new entity that has traits of the former boos. And if the relationship isn't a strong one or if one party isn't true with their feelings the fusion fails and the boos know that they either weren't ready or something needs to be looked into. So the whole fusion thing is sorta real special to the boos.

It's only a little different when one of the parties isn't a boo. Their energies still combine but because one has a physical body that becomes the new entity's body with a few cosmetic and magical changes to account for the boo's spectral energy.

So in luigi's case his hair turning into white floating wisps at the ends (including his mustache), eyes glowing an ethereal purple/green, tongue going blue and being far longer than originally, teeth sharpening, lightning sparking off him with a following scent of ozone, and lower effect of gravity.

As for Luigi knowing he does! As I mentioned the ceremony is pretty special to the boos so he's seen a few during his time in the kingdom both successful and not. So when King Boo asks him to be fuses for the rest of their lives he does know exactly what will happen when he says yes

Random booigi au were Luigi doesn't end up in the darklands when him and Mario travel through the pipe. Instead he ends up in boo woods. So he wanders around terrified trying to find Mario only to run into boo after boo. And at first they find it fun scaring the shit out of this guy who's just getting more and more scared but eventually they get a little worried (king boo hasn't had to deal with the shame of loosing to these two humans before so him and his ghosts mainly just do their own thing terrifying/pranking people though he does still have his alliance with bowser) so they go to king boo concerned for the guy. King boo comes and terrifies him more but after a bit of enjoying the fear king boo too gets a little worried and does his best to calm luigi down.

The second luigi (still afraid having no idea where he fucking is) gets a shred of kindness he just breaks down and like cries about everything that happened. That he's separated from his brother this isn't his world he's freaking out and like latches onto King boo. King boo feeling weird about someone not running in fear of him for once offers to let luigi stay with him until word of his brother can be found.

Fast forward and the movie takes place but because he's trying to help luigi (and steadily getting to know the cutie) they both somehow miss the entire nonsense that goes down with the neighboring kingdoms.

Mario returns to the mushroom kingdom a hero but still missing his brother and goes on a search to find him however bowsers escape and following attacks prevent him from ever getting far in it. The boos too try looking for "luigi's mysterious brother" but never get far in their search due to other kingdoms not liking their presence. Meanwhile luigi and King Boo get closer and fall in love.

This all leads up to years later bowser (half way redeemed because he's tired alright) and peach (with mario) are headed to the boo woods to witness the royal fusion (boos combine for weddings and the resulting entity of their relationship is the one that "lives" on from that point) between king boo and his beloved only to get the shock of Mario's life to see luigi is the "beloved" and he's about to lose his brother forever unless he can stop this wedding

Fuck I wanna discuss Stone getting sent to the mushroom world with someone so bad.

Just just Stone out of loyalty and worry for robotnik offering to fly the prototype and robotnik agreeing because the agent played into his ego and why should he have to bring the little mongrel in when Stone can do it for him. Stone feeling absoluelty terrified as he's crashing into another world but relieved because robotnik isn't the one lost. Robotnik screaming at the disconnected message flashing around his screen trying everything to reconnect knowing its impossible. Robotnik breaking down because the one person he trusted is lost to him gone most likely dead and he doesn't even have a body to mourn. Robotnik swearing to skin that hedgehog for what he's done and going supervillain but far worse because he hasn't lost it to mushrooms and he's letting the rage of grief and lost potentials fuel him instead of just petty spite. Stone surviving the crash but losing it so much quicker because he knows even if he gets back robotnik won't be waiting for him and it's so comforting to pretend the voice in his head when it says otherwise. Sonic barely having time to celebrate his "victory" over Eggman before more worse attacks come his way and he wonders if maybe he started something he can't finish.

Just just Stone lost to that world and how much worse things could have gone

I mean when you really get down to it jimbotnik has the most valid reasons to hunt and attack Sonic out of them all kid movie asside. He was hired by the military to track and capture whatever caused the blackout. The blackout that took out half of the nation's electricity. And not just on the ground but as Tails proved it went up too so if any planes were flying above they probably got hit too. And while I do think a plane can land without its electricity I do think it's hard and it probably scared the shit out of everyone. And that's not even counting what else lost power that really couldn't for safety reasons.

So like I said here comes jimbotnik hired to find this thing and when he finally does before he can even get out a word whether positive or negative he gets punched in the face and then his target (who again can cause a nationwide blackout whenever he wants as far as robotnik knows) is gone with the help of some backwater idiot.

Then his tech gets wrecked which pisses him off even more so that leads the chase in San fran. And the whole banished to the mushroom planet. Which no one knew if he could survive on that world! We knew it was safe for Sonic to live there not that a human would be fine for all Sonic knew he was sending this guy to his death and like no one cared!

Like jimbot is the villain obviously but when you consider the logic of the situation had this not been a kid movie and had we not already known Sonic was the hero this would have made an interesting thriller where the "unseen" dangerous party wins.

You'd get more fucked up feral and evil if you spent 8 months forcibly isolated on a lifeless planet
