The thing about Twin Peaks is that it is, at times, the dumbest fucking show you have seen in your life. Many of the plots are fool’s plots. It is also one of the most thought provoking shows you have seen in your life. It is beautiful and deeply problematic and thematically dense and brilliantly constructed and also so stupid. It is raw and visceral and also melodramatic. The dialogue is very bad. The dialogue is also very good.
