Don’t you just feel is weird they low-key are like making Jamie and Colin interact more and all their talking interaction consist on Colin wanting to kill Jamie and the ones they don’t talk are a bit fruity like the goal celebration Jamie legit grabs his hand in the bus for the Amsterdam episode so I’m like bitch decide are they going to be canon or not low-key is the won’t they will they but like I don’t want to have my hopes up

so i knew they wouldnt get together and my hopes werent actually up, like i knew that colinjamie would be a ship in my heart, and also like, fueled by ao3 and ep moments, and so, i was fine with that!

if anything i was glad we were getting interactions, cause they just enabled the shipper in me

ahhh im sorry i just randomly had a bout of "social battery got depleted and was way in the negatives" and ended up dropping off the face of the earth for bit as a result

someone PLEASE make a gifset of all the things Jamie and Cockburn are doing in the background of locker room scenes because I just remembered they did a jump high-five in the finale that cracked me up. This is so extra.

other things I’ve noticed:

them either trying to double high-five and failing miserably or straight up playing pattycake

constantly knocking each other on the shoulder or pointing at each other

and one absolutely brilliant moment where Cockburn goes in for a fist bump and Jamie meets him with a high-five and then they both turn away from each other in shame. genuinely almost cried laughing when I noticed that in the background.

Phil and Dejon must have been having a blast that whole season.

I have Colin and Jamie brainrot for you! I'm really trying to only think about ideas for them for that fic I showed you (I need to get back writing that asap) but now I can't stop thinking about Jamie being in thr England camp and like texting Colin to check in and see how he's doing in the Welsh camp and that nobody is giving him shit or anything (Jamie doesn’t know what he'd do if someone was but he's protective of Colin...). They just find themselves texting a bunch cause they get what the other person is going through with the international break (they could text Thierry and Dani but timezones). There's some facetimes, maybe someone falls asleep and the other ponders how cute he looks, there'd be deep conversations and when they get back to Richmond it's very obvious something is different between them because distance has certainly made Jamie’s heart grow fonder 😏

CANT BELIEVE I MISSED THIS (got a new kitten and have been busy trying to introduce him to the other cat, they are Adjusting)

yesss that fic you showed me!! i think about it oFTEN like its so good especially with the where its positioned timeline wise and with all thats happening in it. the way you write the characters too! just. phenomenal.
