  “I’ve changed I’m a different person… I try so hard to not do what I did etc”    but yet they continue to go on the same path. If their actions don’t match what they are saying they haven’t changed.     It’s ok to let go and let them continue on their journey and you must not allow them to drag out what you want to accomplish in your journey.     We have to learn how to say enough and draw a line. Two souls met, one refused at first the other kept trying. After the second time they met, something shifted within both souls, one was lost in the heat of the moment the other one was studying the other soul deeply. The two began to get more and more close until one of them went through something tough, during those moments the soul decided that it no longer wanted to get more deeply involved with the other soul, but the other soul was very loving and nurturing to this soul because they knew how special the other soul was and wanted to be there to show that soul what true love really was, time passed and the more the soul got closer and closer the other soul was lost in the negative energy... so one soul decided to slowly retract and leave. One soul was mourning and in sorrow, the other soul felt boxed in feeling like trapped in a box. The two souls separate but can still feel each others presence. These souls may meet again or may not but there is a huge lesson... these two souls needed to learn what self love, ego, codependency, and what attachments are.
