in a world where magic is dying and war takes place on the back of giant metal birds, young commanders seek to defend the borders of their homelands by any means necessary.
Wing Commander Soran yal Hajadi fights on behalf of the newly born nation of Khalamar, and capturing the enemy general seems like the advantage his people need. kickstarting a series of revenge kidnappings and desperate counterstrikes was never his intention, and nor was beginning to question his own morality. in the end, Soran must decide whether he’s willing to betray everyone in his life to salvage his own sense of honour and end the war for good.
