Re: the "no slash" tag, it really poses the question about why a negative needed attention drawn to it. I once came across a gen fic that had both the "no sex" and the "no tentacle sex" tags on them despite the fic having nothing to do with tentacles, the ocean, or anything that would indicate sex. It was a college AU. To this day, that is still one of the most baffling pieces of environmental storytelling I have ever come across in the wild
