You know, when I see fictional characters who repress all their emotions, they're usually aloof and very blunt about keeping people at a distance, sometimes to an edgy degree—but what I don't see nearly enough are the emotionally repressed characters who are just…mellow.

Think about it. In real life, the person that's bottling up all their emotions is not the one that's brooding in the corner and snaps at you for trying to befriend them. More often than not, it's that friendly person in your circle who makes easy conversation with you, laughs with you, and listens and gives advice whenever you're upset. But you never see them upset, in fact they seem to have endless patience for you and everything around them—and so you call them their friend, you trust them. And only after months of telling them all your secrets do you realize…

…they've never actually told you anything about themselves.

I am really going feral over John Dory and Floyd rn so here's some headcanons for the 15 people who enjoy this ship like I do (Bzcest)

3-5 year age gap

John legitimately has always had a thing for Floyd even when they were kids

Floyd had a crush on John but didn't know that's what it was he was feeling

John tries to get rid of his feelings over the years and succeeds mostly. The moment he lays eyes on Floyd as an adult, however, they respark inside him (It takes longer for Floyd to come to terms with his own feelings)

John sucks at emotions and words and is better expressing things physically. Either through touch or doing things. -Love languages are Quality Time and Acts of Service, a smidge of Physical Touch

Floyd doesn't do well with long spells of silence and needs to be reaffirmed that things are okay. -Love languages are Physical Touch and Words of affirmation

Neither of them can handle bugs. Though Floyd actually screams about them and it brings out the older brother instinct inside John. Until the bug starts flying. Then they're both screaming.

John loves to use pet names. Calls Floyd everything under the sun from "Pumpkin" to "Sugar" to "Sweet Pea"

Floyd usually just calls John by his name. Occasionally likes to call him "Honey". (That makes John's brain melt)

John is impervious to most sickness. Man could live through just about any conditions and tough it out. When he is sick he acts like he's dying

Floyd is the ever present "always listening to other people's problems and never expressing his own" type

John would strip himself bare and give Floyd all his clothes at just the mention of him being chilly. (There was a blanket halfway across the room but who's paying attention to that, anyway?)

There's definitely a Brozone song or two that's dedicated to Floyd but you'd have to kill John before he'd admit that

John does poorly with change that he isn't in control of and struggles to accept new things

John pours his milk before his cereal and doesn't understand why everyone has a problem with that

Floyd is most attracted to John's passionate nature and his drive to do what he believes is right

John is most attracted to Floyd's patience and his willingness to understand every perspective

Floyd mostly does punk rock music as an adult and John does his best to be supportive (he doesn't understand the music)

I've drawn the Brozone Brothers for my AU I'm working on.

In which Brozone broke up that night after failing to pull off the perfect family harmony, but decided to stay together as a family.

I'm keeping most of my ideas secret for now but I will address this: the day of Trollstice when the Trolls decide to flee the tree in Bergen town, Clay is part of the group of trolls that gets separated from the rest. Leading to him disappearing along with Viva and the others.

This is what causes John Dory to lose his color.

If I write it, I think the story will focus on Floyd and him trying to balance out the family and keep them all together. It'll be John Dory x Floyd centric.

What's Younger/De-aged AU?

Hey! This AU is often interpreted as a character suddenly turning into a child (through magic, a scientific mishap, etc.) It can also be a look into the past, pre-canon when the characters were younger, or make the characters be younger in canon setting. It could be hilarious if all of the Avengers were hormonal teenagers! :D
