We need to talk about Bridgerton.
Do you love Regency romance? Do you love fake dating tropes? Do you love over the top historical costumes?
Watch Bridgerton, premiering on Netflix on Christmas Day!
This is Daphne Bridgerton and the Duke of Hastings:
They’re tired of being pushed around the marriage mart so they pretend to be courting each other. It’d be a shame if they fell in love with each other wouldn’t it?
LOOK AT THEM!
And Daphne’s 7 brothers and sisters get their own love stories too.
Here’s some more pictures to whet your appetite.
Oh and Julie Andrews narrates as gossip columnist Lady Whistledown.
These are my favorite romance novels of all time. Watch it!

“Deep inside, she knew who she was, and that person was smart and kind and often even funny, but somehow her personality always got lost somewhere between her heart and her mouth, and she found herself saying the wrong thing, or more often, nothing at all.” — Romaning Mister Bridgerton by Julia Quinn

idk how well 3 idiots has aged over the years, but that opening credits montage as Raju and Farhan, reunited after AGES, drive through the green terrain of the North Indian foothills in search of their lost friend while Shaan's Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh plays in the background, full with loss and love for this person who had once emanated happiness and then just disappeared from their lives, still remains one of the most emotionally resonating and tender opening sequences in ALL of bollywood and I kid u not when I say the first time I saw it I felt the strangest sadness and joy without knowing why.
