Hello everyone.

I have to admit that I've been feeling so guilty lately. Each day I think about you all and I long to come do my replies. Sadly, this year is really not going that great for me. I've been under a lot of stress lately and it's only getting worse. I just got news that my mother degenarative bone disease has just moved to her knees and she's going to knee surgery. which means I'll be needing to take care of her once she does.

It's just one of several things weighing on my mind. It all makes it so difficult to be creative. I feel very drained. It makes me feel so guilty to not get my replies out. Taking as long as I have is really making me real like I'm abandoning or stringing you all along (I know you guys don't actually think that, I just have a guilt complex).

I'm trying to find a way to work through my drafts. I refuse to disappear for another two years. Even if I just have to send asks, positivity, or send nice comments, I want to keep up the wonderful relationships I have crafted here. I love you all. and seeing you all on my dash makes me smile.

so yeah, just a little life update.

I apologize for disappearing. I'm having a bit of a hard time getting my brain back into writing mode after a week of cramming drawings. I hope to return soon and answer all the stuff I owe.

Koala is very upset she missed Sabo's birthday. she will be sending out late birthday kisses tomorrow.

I have two more lovely birthday asks for Sanji that I will get around to answering sometime soon. Tomorrow I am doing another vending fair with my sister that has taken up my concentration for like the last week. But after this one, no more fairs until after april. so hopefully after this I can be on here more.

Well, maybe not next week too much. Next week I'm doing a Hazbin Hotel shipping week I need to draw for.

Zoro sets down a bottle of cooking wine for the cook, he makes the glass clunk against the countertop loud enough to grab his attention. He did a bit of research, getting a well known favorite across the world of cooks. A shame it’s not really meant to drink outright ( he’s sure he could, but wouldn’t this time around ). “ Make something nice using this sometime, alright? ” A brief pause as he makes his way out of the galley. “… Happy birthday, curlybrow. ” And out the kitchen he goes.

Birthday Wishes - Accepting until 15th _____

Sanji was trying to piece together a menu for the day. It had oddly slipped his mind. He'd been busier than he expected today. Crewmembers randomly kept coming up to him, hugging him or joking with him. For the life of him, he couldn't understand why today of all days. Wasn't it just like any other day in the week?

Maybe it was some strange friendship holiday that he was unfamiliar with.

The thought is pushed from his mind glass bangs against wood. Startling, his head jerks up and he blinks a few times at Zoro. He can only stare at the other man, not a single snide remark surfacing to the forefront of his mind. He's too taken aback by the very generous gift. His pulse thrumming in his throat.

All the pieces finally slide into the proper places. It's his birthday? God, of course. How could he have forgotten? Well, because caring for the crew was far more important than wasting import resources on cake and a meal the others might not like.

Still, his pulse is still thrumming so happily. His face hot. But sadly Zoro is gone before he can say a word. Instead, he takes the wine and looks at it fondly. He's already getting idea for wonderful recipe ideas to use the wine in.

He smiled to himself, setting the wine aside. He went to alcohol cabinet and pulled a bottle of his more expensive sake. Not hesitating a second, he took long strides to the galley door. He hurried his step, catching Zoro.

"Oi!" He gave a gentle kick to the back of Zoro's ankle. Trying to look grumpy (and failing), he held out the sake. "You forgot this, Asshole."

"Happy birthday, Sanji," Ikkaku said, sauntering up to the cook with a smile. She handed him a package with an apron she made that stated Don't Mess With the Cook, Mosshead on the front, and several slots and pockets to place his cooking utensils and seasonings for utility. She next handed him a vintage bottle of wine she'd gotten assessed by Robin for quality. "I hope you're not planning on baking your own birthday cake. The cook deserves a day off, and I'm happy to bake you something to celebrate."

Meeting up with the Heart Pirates was always a treat. For the Straw Hats, at least. The second that Sanji saw Ikkaku heading his way, his heart began to race. A bright smile pulling at his mouth as soft blush spread across his cheeks. The sheer fact that this engineering goddess deemed him worthy of bestowing a gift on was some sweet heavenly blessing.

He took the gift with a slight bow. He could never do her the dishonor of downplaying just how absolutely he treasured her thinking about him. Taking the apron from the box and holding it aloft to get a clear look. Smile bright on his face as he found himself unable to look away from the thoughtful gift. Shifting only to look at the wine. "A gift made from the very hands of a goddess? And with such a taste for fine wine. Who am I to be so blessed?"

He paused as she mentioned the cake. Blinking a little stupidly. Head tilting a bit to the side. "I, well, wasn't really planning to have a cake. I have a lot of more important cooking to get done with two crews to feed today. And I don't wish to put you out, Ikkaku-san."
