The palace nobles in the fountainhead palace are wearing clothes literally from the previous heian era (1180s). This style of dress is called the sokutai and it is an imperial Chinese inspired garment that had fallen out of style by the start of the sengoku period (1450s)

"取り戻す" is more "to retrieve me"//"to reclaim me"
