"It took him years to unlearn that self-imposed hate, to accept that there was nothing inherently wrong with him [...] to trust the touch of people that believed his body wasn’t something to be afraid of."

Mica (@/c_killjoy_ on twt) did this beautiful comic page for me, I had to share it here too ♥️
despite the fact that he thought about “sentimental shit” a lot during the final war, he isn’t being hypocritical when he says this to izuku. this is actually a huge example of how well katsuki knows izuku.
katsuki knows how (recklessly) selfless izuku is and how much of a bleeding heart he has. he also knows how irrational izuku can act when he’s “thinking that sentimental shit.”
katsuki’s words above aren’t coming from a place of mutual understanding. he stays surprisingly calm and regulated when thinking about that sentimental shit. here’s him facing off against history’s worst villain yet thinking about his past with izuku.
this isn’t “getting distracted by in battle will make you lose.” that’s just a general piece of advice. this is “i know that you tend to lose control of yourself when you’re emotional. try not to think about your trauma, or you’ll die.”
katsuki knows these things about izuku and gave him genuine advice that pertains specifically to him. through katsuki’s eyes? that’s love.
Realistically, a household the size of Wayne Manor needs more than just a butler, and while Bruce might imagine he can keep his proclivities secret from his own domestic staff, Alfred certainly harbours no such illusions. I've gotta wonder what the orientation lecture he's worked out looks like. Like, of course they're going to be extensively vetted before they ever set foot on the premises, but at some point during the onboarding process the subject of the Batcave has gotta come up – I just wanna know how Alfred broaches that.
Mads: "It is a giant journey obviously for both of them. In reality that is a giant journey he's gone through (Will) but in Hannibal's world as well, even though the step is much smaller for him, it's a gigantic leap. Right?"
Hugh: "Because he's potentially envisioning– caring on a few..."
Mads: "A future."
Hugh: "Yeah."
Mads: "But it's interesting because Hannibal had never ever thought about the future. He's a man who lives in the present. And for once he saw a future."

I’m sorry but the IRONY of KACCHAN “My dying thought and every single one since has been of Izuku and our relationship” BAKUGOU saying this to the object of his literally undying attention is just-
