Heartbreak. 💔It is testament of our capacity to love. It will burst your heart wide open like nothing else. Each break leaving a scar, an opportunity for healing, leaving our hearts more open, wider, perhaps more capable of experiencing greater love than before, even though in it you feel empty and numb, unable to handle anything else or ever love the same again. I am utterly heartbroken. After my friend’s sudden passing a couple of weeks ago, and yesterday having to send my fur baby of 15 years over the rainbow bridge, my heart hurts so much that I’m physically having chest pains and emotionally so exhausted I feel like a zombie, unable to even answer the simplest of questions. And although my heart breaks, we are all destined to have this experience, it is the circle of life, the world carries on in ignorant bliss of heartbreak. Grief for me is different now. Thank you God! I’ve had a few prior shots at navigating these waters and find myself swimming ever so closer to shore, with more strength. Previously I had let myself drown in it. I have a child now. That’s not an option. Grief is very different with a toddler where you are lucky to get 5 minutes to yourself. I am so very grateful. What a beautiful distraction! When I started to break down and cry today, this miracle child of mine ran over to me to give me a big hug and a kiss. She’s a bundle of giggles, kisses and cuddles (well sometimes cuddles, she’s very busy-on the go). I am so lucky. For all the friends and family who have reached out thank you. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for the love and light. They have lifted me and I feel them. You are my blessing. Life goes on. My heart will heal. I will miss them. I will try to see the beauty in the heartbreak. God told me to take a break, listen and write. So I did. We are Constant creators manifesting the reality we focus on. Every day we need to take a moment and check in with Spirit. Check in with Source. Check in With Jesus. Check in with God. Whatever you would like to call our Divine Creator. What is our vibration? How are we feeling? What are we dwelling on? Are our thoughts positive or less than? Have we forgotten that we are Loved? That we are a Bright Light of Source Energy, a very piece of God shining, in the rays of the sun, down on this Earth. We are surrounded by loved ones already crossed over and we are surrounded by an army of angels. All we must simply do is ask for their help. Ask for Guidance. Lift me up Dear God, lift me to a higher vibration. Raise me out of fear. Raise me out of self-doubt. Raise me out of self-sabotage. Raise me out of my humanness, hormones, frustration, lack of sleep, lack of fill in the blank……… Let me remember that there is never lack or limitation. There is only the perception of lack. There is always more than enough. We must believe God wants to give us the Kingdom of Heaven Every Day. God wants us to be happy, have abundance. God wants us to enjoy life, to be peaceful. It doesn’t have to be hard. We make it hard on ourselves because we create situations “less than” because we don’t believe we deserve it. Self-worth. So many people have self-worth issues. Maybe all of us do. Why is it so hard for us to imagine that we deserve all the happiness and joy this world could bring if only we reached out and made it happen, like picking a rose from a garden? The intent that we know that Rose would be ours, all we have to do is cut it from the bush. How simple would our lives be if we just got out of our own way? The past no longer exists. Tomorrow neither. There are no guarantees. Enjoy today, now, this present moment, for tomorrow is never promised. Stop and smell the rose. Pluck it from its branch. Nestle your nose into its soft petals. Savor its fragrance. Breathe in its Divinity.
