She clantched her necklace close to her chest. “My b.... best friend....” she hesitated a bit, her lip twitch a bit to smile, but she never did.

“Well, It seems as though that’s one great friend~” She chuckled softly, “I wish you two the best friendship.”

Muttsy looked around the ornate manor.

The clock enjoyed making her guest’s beverages by hand. It gave her something to lo forward to. She prepared the tea and returned to her guest’s location. 

“Muttsy, your drink.”

“That would be rather nice...”

“Good~ I’ll go fetch you some. I’ll be right back.” 

The clock left the den to retrieve the beverage.

“I really like sweet teas, like rose!”

“Hmm... Would you like for me to get you some?” The clock offered the girl.

“... what kind of teas do you like?”

The clock only took a moment to think.

“I like tea of all kinds, Muttsy! Though my personal favorite is Thai tea~”

“T-that’s very kind of you...” She stuttered wiping a tear.

“No worries, dear~” She gave a warm grin to the dog-girl.

She looked up to her, shaking her head. “It just looks,nice here...” she spoke, trying to not seem disrespectful in anyway. She fidgeted with her necklace

“What a very lovely necklace you have there. May I ask where you acquired it?”

Taking the opportunity to unwind, the clock’s features shown a more lax appearance.

“Something’s got your eye?” She asked playfully.

A look of sympathy was given to the girl.

“Well, I’m not going to force you to do anything you don’t want to.” She sat down on her favorite love-seat, giving the girl a warm smile.
