just saw the post about post-canon Noam and Dara child adoption... and i’m positively melting. any hcs for Ahava? (if even pondered about haha)

sure why not! i’m bored and procrastinating at work so here are some Thoughts:

- Ahava is half Latine, like Noam, although one of her birth parents was Mexican (well, from Aztlán, as it’s called in TFK universe) whereas Noam is Colombian. 

- Ahava’s birth parents died from the magic virus, which is why she went up for adoption and Noam and Dara found her

- At Hebrew school she ignores learning, like, the alphabet in favor of teaching herself curse words

- Often when a child is adopted by Jewish parents from non-Jewish birth parents, the kid has to undergo a formal conversion, but Noam and Dara were like ‘literally fuck that, she’s raised Jewish so she’s Jewish’ because tbh the whole matrilineal inheritance thing is bullshit

- Ahava’s presenting power was controlling the weather, which sucks for Noam and Dara because as a baby sometimes she’d get frustrated when hungry and create a tiny thunderstorm right over Dara’s head following him around and ruining his hair until he gave her a bottle

- Noam takes Ahava into work a lot and she sits on the floor and plays with toys while Noam does like cybersecurity lmao

- Ahava has curly light brown hair and brown eyes and olive skin with tiny little freckles, which Dara claims she got from him (even though they’re technically not biologically related)

- Ahava had an Orange Phase where she only wore orange, much to Ames’ dismay
