MODELING CONTRACTS Q2 2024-Q3 2024

here is the LIST of modeling contracts. make sure to read this post for more information about modeling in general.

contracts highlighted in light purple means that renewal is possible. renewals become impossible if writing requirements haven’t been met and when this happens, they are placed in the “past” column, which is highlighted in grey. the other reason for this is if the muse has completed a around a year with the brand, since it allows the muse to have a free modeling contract slot and take on different modeling gigs, if possible. if the contract is highlighted in either yellow or blue, there’s no action for you to take (example; Ivy Club contracts).

you are required to submit to the lgcmanager account the following form to renew a contract. if we don’t hear from you before APRIL 27, 2024 at 11:59PM EDT, we’ll assume that contracts pending renewal are canceled.

MODELING GIG 003 ( MODEL BRANDS UPDATE )

all of the MODEL BRAND OWNERS ( HAN JISOO, KIM JINYOUNG, KIM JINSEO, and ZHENG AMELIA ) were called to a meeting by the staff members in their creative teams. during the meeting, the staff members inform the brand owners information regarding the final details of their upcoming campaign, which are listed below:

( important note: there may be some minor changes to the original info given by the brand owners, so what is listed below is what was accepted and finalized. )

AURORA ( BRAND OWNER: HAN JISOO )

MODELS: jeon haru / @lgcharu ( character b ), xu lili / @lgclili ( character a )

CF CONCEPT: it's a spectacle for those on earth where during the day, it will be dark for a few minutes. at this moment, it's still bright, it is clearly daytime. the moon ( character A ) is running towards one specific meeting spot where it seems that the sun ( character B ) is waiting. you can see that both the moon and sun look excited as they make their way to the meeting spot. when they see each other, they sprint and embrace, and it pans away from what is alluded to as a kiss to a shot that focuses on a solar eclipse in the sky, over the ocean. the ambience is moody, dark, and everything is shaded due to the eclipse. the couple can still be seen holding each other close, until the skies start to lighten again. the darkness only lasted a few minutes, and the couple knows they must inevitably part, despite not wanting to. the commercial is ending as the two separate, and the sun stands there again, alone, waiting until the next time the two are permitted to meet again. the mood is somber, despite the sun being basked aglow from the sunlight.

BABYLON ( BRAND OWNER: KIM JINYOUNG )

CF CONCEPT: two friends go to the gym. one of them (a) is wearing an off-brand set of leggings and plain t-shirt while the other (b) is dressed in the newest babylon releases. the scene begins with a entering the set, clearly uncomfortable and tugging at their leggings while b is stretching. they each prepare to do squats with weights, equipment lined up beside them. b asks a if they're okay and a confirms while trying not to continue shifting in their clothes. b dismisses it and they both get to lifting their weights. as the guys begin working out, there is an audible ripping sound that can be heard with a's face clearly shocked while b attempts to hold his laughter. the scene fades into the background as the slogan "cause comfort matters" is being said out loud by b's voice while the babylon logo appears on screen.

ELYSIUM ( BRAND OWNER: KIM JINSEO )

MODELS: choi kai / @lgckai ( psyche ), kim yujin / @yujinlgc ( eros )

CF CONCEPT: psyche is known throughout the land for their beauty that people have started worshipping them instead of the goddess aphrodite. in her envy and anger, aphrodite sends eros to cause psyche to fall in love with a hideous monster. but when eros sees psyche, they fall in love with psyche instead. disobeying aphrodite, eros carries psyche off to a hidden palace, where they become lovers. but though eros visits psyche every night, eros never tells psyche who they are and forbids them from seeing their face. psyche’s alone during the day, but at night, eros comes to see psyche. [night time will be depicted by the elysium candles hanging all over the place]. psyche learns to love eros despite not seeing their face. but somehow, psyche is curious to see the face behind their lover. so one night, while psyche thinks eros is asleep, psyche takes courage and lights a candle. walking quietly, psyche approaches the bed. the light does not show a monster but the most beautiful of people. suddenly, eros sits up and looks psyche in the eye (has an intense look of both love and betrayal) before blowing out the candle.

NYX ( BRAND OWNER: ZHENG AMELIA )

CF CONCEPT: the commercial opens with a red screen. the camera begins to pan out slowly and it's revealed that the red was actually the pajamas of a young girl. she's dressed in a pajama set that is red and has dragon patterns on it. the camera continues panning up and around until her face is in the centre of the frame. suddenly, two hands cover her eyes. they are large hands and clearly belong to a male. the girl is riding a dragon along with a male. he smiles at the girl and she smiles back. her outfit has changed and she's wearing a red silk nightgown with floral patterns and she has a red silk dressing gown on. the camera pans back and the viewer sees the two riding the dragon as it continues flying through the air. soon after, it’s revealed that the girl was actually dreaming. she's laying in her bed, a red and black sleepmask covering her eyes as she smiles. the camera slowly pans out until the screen goes black and the nyx logo appears.

PRODUCT(S) FROM THIS COLLECTION: four items; a red silk unisex dressing gown with dragons printed on it. a red and black coloured sleep mask with a floral design and made of soft silk-like fabric. a red silk nightgown with a lightly coloured floral design. a unisex pajama set that is made of silk, is red, and has dragons on it.

due to everyone’s busy schedules, filming for the cf videos and photoshoot will be done sometime around late APRIL and MAY. the campaign will be set to launch around JULY-AUGUST and will last until the end of 2024.

a few days after the cf filming, the MODELS for the brands will be asked to sit down individually and film their own review video! the video will last around 10-15 minutes but they will be given all of the products in their respective brand’s collection and give their initial thoughts about it! release dates for when all of the cfs and review videos will be announced during Q3!

SCHEDULE TYPE: ONE TIME GIG

in the past year, CHA SORI, CHOI MINKYU, HAN HYUNHEE, KWON BAEKHYUN, LEE HYUNSOO, PARK SEOJIN, XUE YICHEN, ZHENG AMELIA, and ZHENG LEO have been the faces of ivy club school uniforms. now that their one year endorsement is slowly coming to an end, the company is looking for fresh faces from lgc for their 2024-2025 campaign.

ivy club school uniforms is looking for individuals with +50 MODELING SKILL POINTS and LESS THAN 100 NOTORIETY AT THE TIME OF THIS POST. the muse must also be eligible for a modeling contract ( see the list here in the modeling contracts tab ).

for the people in the MODELING path, please be mindful of the slots that you have. if you want to join this along with the brand casting call listed in the MODEL MISSION 018, you would need to have at least 2 slots available ( one to take ivy club and one to possibly take for the brand casting call ).

neither party will know who the are paired with. as such, muses will be tasked to pick ONE OBJECT to hint about who they are. the production crew will give the object to the partner at beginning of filming before the first meeting. make sure to mention these objects at the beginning of your threads !

INTIMATE NOTE ( SPRING 2024 )

SCHEDULE TYPE: ONE TIME GIG

SBS is bringing back INTIMATE NOTE, a show that aired originally aired in 2008 and 2009, for a legacy special. here are the pairs who will try to break the awkward wall this season:

BAEK SEONA and HAN JISOO

HAN NOEUL and XUE YICHEN

KUROSAWA AKIO and SEO NINA

OH EUNHYE and SHIN JIEUN

each pair will be meeting at the LEGACY CAFE where they will be filming various segments. the location will have been freed up for filming.

SEGMENTS

FIRST IMPRESSION: participants discuss together how and when they first met,share each other's first impression with honesty and try to dispell any false impression that the other has

ORDER EXCHANGE: prior to filming, each person will be requested to order something to eat and drink from the cafe for themselves. when the orders come, they will be given to their partners instead to see if their tastes can match

EYE CONTACT: maintain eye contact for a minimun of one minute while giving sincere compliments to the other. if the eye contact is broken before the end of the timer, they have to try again. after each failed attempt, they have to draw one thing on each other's face. after 3 attempts, they have failed and must drink a (healthy) bitter juice

COMMON GROUNDS: in order to see if the pairs have any common interests, the staff will give two choices on various topics (examples: cat or dog, coffee or tea, socks in bed or no socks in bed) and the participants will have to give their answer at the same time for each topic. they are given time in between each topics to discuss their answers

SELCA TIME: each muse will have to take a polaroid of the other and decorate it. they will also have to take a closing selca together that shows how close they have grown !

LETTER: the last segment will be writing a letter to the other person with honest feelings. this letter can partain to the day's activities or hopes for the future !

REQUIREMENTS

this season, the contestants will be grouped up and style a person’s outfit sets for a week ! first however, each contestants have to SHOW OFF some of their favorite items in their wardrobe and showcase their personal style ! after this they will get to meet their partner(s) and receive of profile of their assigned individual.

AHN JAEHWA, MIN SOYOUN and SEO YURA: female, early 30s, office worker, her life is mostly centered around her work, she likes to exercise and is currently single. her date will be her first meeting with someone met on a dating application. since she works a lot, her wardrobe mostly consists of comfortable but classic clothes with few colors outside of white, beige, gray and light blue.

HAN HYUNHEE and MOON HAYOUNG: female, mid 20s, stay at home mom of a toddler. for the past three years, her life has mostly been centered around her child. she mostly wears comfortable and casual clothes for convinience and has a good array of jeans. she loves wearing simple t-shirts with pastel colors primarly. since her child is growing up, she wants to find more time to care for herself and her appearance

KIM JINSEO and LIM SANGHYUN: male, mid 20s, newly integrated the work force in marketing. he has an active lifestyle and been dating steadily for 2 years now. he often meets with friends to play sports. he likes to buy the latest trending outfits though he wouldn't be considered a fashion icon.

KIM JINYOUNG and LEE JIHO: male, early 20s, about to begin university after finishing his military service. since bulking up in the army, he currently has only basic clothes that fits him. he doesn't really follow trends, but would like to have a more trendy look. he has a blind date set up by his parents.

MOON JIAH and SON NABI: female, late 10s, last year of high school. she's a shy girl who likes to draw and paint and plans on going in arts design. though her wardrobe is quite simple, she has a lot of unique and colorful items and accessories in it. however, she's the type to put on whatever without caring about the end result and would like to have a more cohesive yet unique style. she's being dragged by two friends to a group blind date.

each group will have to come up with a FORMAL outfit for an official event, a SOCIAL outfit for a event with friends, a CASUAL outfit for a regular day, a DATE outfit. most items will have to come out of the person's own wardrobe, but contestants will get to buy ONE new clothing item for each outfit. an outfit includes the clothes, shoes and accessories.

at the end of the week, the person will choose if they LIKED or PASSED on the oufit chosen. teams with more LIKES than PASS will received a SPECIAL REWARD and CASH PRIZE.

** ooc note; the number of like/pass will be based on requirement completion + randomized generator **

REQUIREMENTS

STYLING: write one thread with your partner(s) while the cameras are rolling. the thread can be anything related to picking the outfits; from brainstorming, to studying the outfits they already have, to shopping, to even arguing about their own ideas ! for every four (4) replies (two posts per muns*, 8 lines minimum) you’ll receive +2 VARIETY, +2 MODELING, +2 NOTORIETY for up to +6 VARIETY, +6 VARIETY, 6 NOTORIETY !

due to having less than 70 points in korean, the following individuals have to participate in the KOREAN LANGUAGE BOOTCAMP. lessons have a mandatory attendance, monday to friday from 9pm to 11pm.

since all the participants have a decent grasp of the korean language, this bootcamp focuses more on ADVANCED notions of the language, such as idioms, regional dialects, practice of hanja mixed-script and history and evolution of the korean language. addtionally the participants will have to read several academic papers on korean culture and kpop through the trimester.

REQUIREMENTS

CONVERSATION: write a 6 replies (minimum 8 lines) thread, with another participant of the korean bootcamp, about having a conversation in JOSEON KOREAN (for rp purpose, go with shakespearean english) in class, while being monitored by the coach. completing this will grant +12 KOREAN POINTS !

PRESENTATION: write a 200+ word solo of your muse presenting their favorite korean idom to the class, it's meaning and the reason why they like for +5 KOREAN POINTS !

ENGLISH BOOTCAMP

due to having less than 30 points in english, the following individuals have to participate in the ENGLISH LANGUAGE BOOTCAMP. lessons have a mandatory attendance, monday to friday from 9pm to 11pm.

since all the participants have a no bases in the english language, this bootcamp focuses more on BASIC notions of the language, such the alphabet, basic grammar notions and basic vocabular notions. addtionally the participants will have to watch an english language modern drama (example: gossip girl, breaking bad, skins, lost...), without subtitles, for a minimum of 1 hour per week.

REQUIREMENTS

CONVERSATION: write a 6 replies (minimum 8 lines) thread about having a basic greeting conversation (example: name, age, hometown, favorite food, favorite color...) with another trainee* in class, while being monitored by the coach. completing this will grant +12 ENGLISH POINTS !

PRESENTATION: write a 200+ word solo of your muse presenting the show/one of the show they have watched during the trimester, its plot and their favorite character in it for +5 ENGLISH POINTS !

* since there are only 3 members, you may do this requirement with any trainee with a minimum of 50 points in english who is not taking part of the korean bootcamp or any of the workshops. the trainee will have to attend the class when this discussion happens and will NOT be able to claim points themselves.

due to everyone’s schedules and the number of channels renewed, we limited the number of personal channels accepted. we’ve mentioned some of the rules and requirements to this over HERE, but we wanted to expand a bit further so you can get a better idea of how the personal channels are set up:

depending on the muse’s NOTORIETY (at the time of this post), the writing requirements may vary slightly so please pay attention to that when planning when to write the solos/posts!

once the debuted artist has created a personal channel, they will be expected to pay any of the expenses that might be used. so if you’re planning on doing some sort of game or challenge with a guest, do note that they will be given the bare minimum especially that the selected artists are just starting their channels.

since there is an option to invite a GUEST on the show once per trimester, this will probably be filmed during a time when BOTH the host and guest are free. generally speaking, actors and idols usually are the busiest due to their schedules followed by models and trainees so take that into consideration when thinking of who to invite. for this term the guests have been randomly assigned based on groups/paths. this means that in the latter section you will see which muse is paired up with the group/path and should you choose to have a guest, the guest must be someone from that group/path. the guest should also be someone who HASN'T made an appearance on the show before.

as a reminder, we discourage any prior plot calls off dash to ensure fairness and inclusivity towards everyone who might be interested in participating as a guest on the personal channels.

in terms of traveling, the debuted artist can travel to different parts of korea but most likely that will be filmed on sunday, which is the day that everyone has a day off (exception is if they’re given a holiday break like chuseok). if the debuted artist plans to do that at any time during the trimester, they will have to do all of the filming by themselves.

the length of the videos vary, but typically each video is about 10-25 minutes long with all of the editing! like mentioned previously, the guest will NOT receive any points for replying to the thread if the personal channel owner chooses to do the thread component. in addition to this, it is encouraged that any of the HOST muns who have multiple muses should be mindful of whether they should guest in other people’s personal channels. this is because we want to consider this as an opportunity for the HOSTS to get to know their fellow colleagues and use this as a chance to thread with muses whom they might not be able to interact with on a daily basis due to their schedules.

after the deadline has passed, we’ll add on the lgc master sheet (specifically on the LGCMEDIA SCHEDULE tab) when the episodes that you’ve submitted were aired. as a reminder, the debuted artist has released more episodes than the number that was written for this trimester.

a few weeks ago, we gave the trainees a chance to host their own youtube show/podcast. today, we will announce the show that will be aired this term!

we will give them the pleasure to introduce their shows themselves. due to the limited slots we have plus everyone’s schedules, only one new show was accepted for this term!

listed below is a reminder of certain rules from the original post for both hosts and guests.

HOSTS

management of the calendar and guests will be up to you; however, keep the main updated quickly for us to post your content on the lgcmedia account (submit the names of your FOUR guests as soon as possible).

to assure fairness for next term, there are no waiting list allowed. furthermore, we discourage any prior plot calls off dash to ensure fairness and inclusivity towards everyone who might be interested in participating.

duration of the gig is from APRIL to JUNE. this could be extended if your muse is interested and if requirements are met.

PROJECT BD UPDATE !

this is a bit of an honest talk as an admin/creative director in lgc. part 2 of BLACK BANQUET should've been up weeks ago. unfortunately, not long before that happened, actress han sohee was embroiled in an 'attitude' controversy. as i (admin el) was waiting to see the impact, her follow-up scandal happened and she started being dropped by her advertisers and even quit a film project. with this in mind, i was a bit hesitant as to what to do with the npc character. this might not seem like a big deal, but if i kept wondering if down the line more negative events surrounding her happen, what to do of this. of course, we could simply change the name/npc, but these npcs were carefully chosen for this script. after discussion with my co-creative director, admin a, we came to the conclusion that the best thing would be to replace the npc with another actress. ic wise, this will be presented as the actress herself quitting the project, which would've put a halt on filming and filming will resume on APRIL 22. as consequences, the cast will have to reshoot several scenes and promotion material. you may use these events for your threads. do not worry detailed information and (most of all) part 2 of BLACK BANQUET will be revealed next week! all the DEADLINES of project BD will be moved 1 MONTH, with one additional requirement for all participants ! i really wanted to get candid and be honest about what happened behind the scenes and give a warning as to the content of the upcoming update ! thank you for your patience - admin el

with all of the trainees gathered in the auditorium, they were met with KWON SOYI as she begins with a cordial greeting, “i hope all of you enjoyed your time during the legacy variety show special. thanks to everyone’s efforts and the never-ending content that the team received, i’m here to tell you that the show was a success. this may mean in the near future the company might consider doing it again, but for now there’s another show that is interested in having the trainees featured there once again.” she smiles at the trainees, knowing that what she’s about to announce is one that may interest many of them.

“about four years ago MNET offered us a music show program called ‘NOSTALGIA’ and many of the debuted artists that you know have actually been a part of this show. this time around, MNET has allowed us to film 7 weeks of content for the show. it will still have similar elements that it was known for such as performing old kpop songs, however there is a general and recurring theme with these songs as some of you will see once i show you the schedules.”

SOYI announced a surprise for all of the trainees, “for some of you that may have guessed the theme for this season’s of NOSTALGIA, we have decided to bring in some special guests for the final episode of the show. as one of the groups known for these kinds of concepts, AGITO will make an appearance and perform ‘HWEEK’. and to gain some tips from your fellow senior artists, V&A’s JIHO and YUSHIN will be visiting during the last week of practice ( sometime around MAY ) for ‘BLUE HOUR’ and ‘DO OR NOT’. i strongly recommend listening to their advice and suggestions so that on the day of the finale, all of you do their songs justice.”

as mentioned JIHO and YUSHIN will be visiting all of the training groups during that week to evaluate the performances and point out any areas that the groups would need to work on.

“with the help of our two coaches here,” HYUNCHEOL points towards YOUNGJAE and INSUNG. “all of you will be focusing on your performance skills for the first half in preparation for your GROUP EVALUATION. the coaches will hand you the necessary information pertaining to this evaluation.”

“for some of you that may be familiar with these songs or artists, you can safely assume that we’ve assigned you to sing BALLAD songs.” HYUNCHEOL states before letting the coaches give additional commentary.

INSUNG chimed in proudly, “since this is my strength, all of you will be spending plenty of time with me learning how to sing and convey the emotions of the song. we expect your group performances to move us, so you will be learning quite a lot about SINGING, PERFORMANCE, and ACTING, which are the three important skills in performing those emotional ballads. for the handful of people who are lucky in those areas, we will set even higher expectations. as for our rappers, you will also be taught how to rap for two of the songs assigned to you, but will be spending the majority of your time on the skills mentioned.” YOUNGJAE added, “it also means that for one of the assigned songs, ‘CAN’T LET YOU GO EVEN IF I DIE’, everyone will be doing it in acapella. it’s a test on everyone’s skills along with your teamwork so consider it as one of your biggest challenges for this part of the evaluation.”

SPECIALTIES

near the end of the meeting, HYUNCHEOL will inform the trainees that they will be having a brief one on one meeting with YOUNGJAE or INSUNG afterwards. during this time, each trainee will be shown on the tablet screen one column with categories listed: CHARISMA ( ACTING ), ENTERTAINMENT ( HOSTING ), PERSONALITY ( VARIETY ), VISUAL ( MODELING ), CREATIVITY ( MUSIC/LYRIC COMPOSITION AND/OR CHOREOGRAPHY ). the trainee will have to rank the five categories from 1-5, with 1 being what they think they think they’re the best at and 5 being what they think they are the worst at.

ooc wise, it is advised to choose what suits your muse and that whatever your muse chooses for this will impact the course of the team unknown outcome. please submit the following form to the lgcmanager blog before APRIL 27, 2024 11:59PM EDT.

WEEK 2 ( APRIL 15-20 ): intensive performance lessons ( focusing more on being charismatic and standing out on stage, this will also overlap with WEEK 3 lesson material wise ). preparation for ‘MISSING YOU’.

WEEK 3 ( APRIL 22-27 ): intensive acting lessons ( focusing on conveying the emotional messages in performing, will also include bits of musical acting to help with becoming a better singer ). preparation for ‘CAN’T LET YOU GO EVEN IF I DIE’.

WEEK 4 ( APRIL 28- MAY 10 ): refining the details for the group evaluation performances ( includes dancing for the btob songs )

MAY 11: group evaluation performances

since this mission will have two parts, there will be no feedback on the group evaluations in the next half of the mission. instead the feedback for that will be done after Q2. in addition to this, the trainees ( specifically NATHAN, JAEJIN, JUNKYU, and MINJUN ) will be joining the NKND muses with working on their LANGUAGES. more information about that can be found in a separate post. any of the trainees not mentioned can attend the language workshops, but it is not mandatory for them.

"as you've surely heard, we are opening a new subsidary, and from today on, CHOI DAEHYUN will be your boss." the last word is followed by a short amused chuckle. "DBSD, when founding USGEN, had a clear view of the company and what they want to achieve. and the 8 of you have been carefully picked by all the people present here with this view in mind. in the next couple of months, you'll be moving to the 7th floor, which will be fully dedicated, and only accessible to USGEN staff. don't worry, the rest of the building - except LGC AGENCY's foor - will still be accessible for you." he further explains. "this will be the last meeting that ISEUL and myself will be attending. Creative control will be handled by DBSD members themselves, while HYUNCHEOL, YOUNGJAE and YONGSEOK will be here to support you on the day to day matters until further notice."

once he's done talking, DAEHYUN finally speaks. "the members and i have been reviewing the content you've filmed so far. 'USGEN CHANNEL' will launch on MAY 1. i'll be introducing the company, our goals and plans on that day, as well as the NEWKIDS NEWDREAMS project. the first episodes of the show will actually be dedicated to reviewing your performances, for those who have filmed them. and, for those who havent, it's coming soon enough." his grin makes his words further more omnious for some reason. "our goal is to officially shift the videos to you 8 only on MAY 22, when NEW KIDZ ON THE BLOCK will be released digitally.

NEW KIDZ ON THE BLOCK

the basis of a new group is to introduce those part of it and this is what the first tasks of the boys will be about ! as this is content for a YOUTUBE CHANNEL, the tasks are divided in 'videos' that the boys will have to film:

NEW KIDZ ON THE BLOCK (TAKE 2): DBSD'S DAEHYUN has produced and written the THEME SONG for the youtube channel, titled NEW KIDZ ON THE BLOCK, it has already been recorded with the five first members, now that three more have joined, it will be rerecorded with them. The 8 MEMBERS audio and video performance will be the ones released to the public.

DOOM DUM DOOM: DBSD'S SEOHAN was tasked to compose, write and choreograph an anthem-sounding song that would show the future group's colors. the song titled 'DOOM DU DOOM' is the result. the group will be learning an practicing the song for the next month before they will be evaluated by a panel composed of DAEHYUN, SEOHAN and various coaches. if they should pass this evaluation, they will be filming the music video of the song some time in JUNE, with a digital release around JULY 8. all the lyrics for this trimester can be found HERE

SHOW US YOUR BEST (TRIAL MEMBERS ONLY): each members will record a solo performance* demonstrating what they are best at in terms of skills (singing, dancing, rapping and/or instuments are accepted)

SOLO PRACTICE (CORE MEMBERS ONLY): each member will be tasked to film themselves during their solo practice for about 1 hour. the skills they are practicing are up to them. this is to show the viewers and fans a window into their lives as trainees.

LANGUAGE BOOTCAMP: due to having less than 70 KOREAN LANGUAGE POINTS, KURAMOTO MISAKI and MAE JASPER have to participate in the language bootcamp, while LAI WENJUN will take part in it since he has less than 30 ENGLISH LANGUAGE POINTS. information on these bootcamps will be released later.

*only songs released by legacy artists or released by any artists BEFORE january 2022 are eligible

SHORTS

as written in the article, USGEN aims to be setting trends, and what better way to do so than use YOUTUBE SHORTS and TIKTOK. for fans to know them better, the members will be filming a 'SHALL WE KNOW' short (see JULIE and NATTY filming one HERE). each member will have to pick a LOCATION and OUTFIT that fits their IMAGE and PERSONALITY. if the location is outside of LEGACY, USGEN will book the location for a one hour shoot. another member will be in charge of FILMING the short and GIVING QUESTIONS. none of them will know the questions that will be asked prior to the short being filmed as the answers and actions need to be spontaneous. daehyun has only advice for the boys; go all out without shame !

NOVA MISSION 005

around noon, on APRIL 14, the members of NOVA are met by their manager, GEUM SHINHYE, straight in their living room. changing things around, shinhye comes in this time with bowls of black bean noodles for everybody to enjoy, including here. the meal is still warm and clearly recently picked up from a top tier chinese restaurant. as the seven of them enjoy their lunch, the manager slowly eases into the day's topic. "so, now that we're done with recording the songs and learning the choreos, time to begin the final steps towards your second comeback" she rummages through her bag and distributes to each girl a folder containing all of the necessary information that they needed to know.

SISTERHOOD

"the company has given the green light for a MAY 7 comeback! this time, NOVA IVUVENTA's project chapter is 'SISTERHOOD'." announces shinhye before diving into further details

nova have been models for LEVI's for almost a year now, and what a better marketing ploy way to acknowlege it by incorporating it in a concept ! as mentioned above, the theme is 'SISTERHOOD', and more precisely, an ode to 'SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS'. this chapter will have 6 mini-episodes, one of each girl, telling the story of a group of friends who finding a pair of jeans that fit each of them perfectly and their adventures with it. these short videos will have more visuals, sounds, impressions to express feelings than diaologue.

EPISODE 1 (5 minutes): [ intro.skye ] 6 friends are in a thrift shop and find a pair of levi's jeans. each of them try it and surprisingly, it fits them all, they decide to buy it and pass it to the one who needs it at any given time. the first to get the pair of pants is sena. sena is a shy person but dreams of becoming a model. she sees a casting call to join a famous international company and hesitates. on the day of the casting call, on a whim, she decides to wear the jeans and attend the casting call. they seem to give her the confidence to walk the stage and pose. she passes the audition

EPISODE 2 (3 minutes): [ milan ] milan wants to be a tiktoker, but none of her videos get much attention. one day, she decides to make a dance cover wearing the jeans. the next day, she realizes that she has gone viral on the plateform

EPISODE 3 (3 minutes): [ minseo ] minseo is running for school president, but it seems no matter how much effort she puts in, she's still not likely to win. on the final day of the race, she wears the jeans and gives a speech that wins her the final votes she needs to getthe role

EPISODE 4 (3 minutes): [ nayoung ] nayoung is an avid gamer and she has even been invited to take part in a big tournament to be streamed on various major gaming sites. as a girl in a field dominated by men, she worries by how she'll be perceived when they realize that she's a woman. on the day of the competition, she decides to wear the jeans. she wins the competition, the hearts of the viewers and the respect of he fellow gamers

EPISODE 5 (3 minutes): [ mitzi ] mitzi is a dancer and has been trying to have her choreography picked by idol groups many times now but none have been chosen yet. when she sees an open call by the group 'NOVA' she decides to give it another try. on the recording day, she decides to wear the jeans for added luck. her choreography is the one NOVA goes for.

EPISODE 6 (5 minutes): [ outro.nabi ] the video opens on nabi walking confidently in her school uniform in a corridor, she holding a gift bag. her voice narrates that she and her friends has had many beautiful moments happening while wearing these jeans, while various snippets of her in various situations play on screen. when the scene returns to the present, she's using a pin to open a locker that clearly isn't her own, her narrating continues and she explains that after a while, they've come to figure out that the jeans were just a crutch, that each had it all in them but needed to find their own self-confidence. this time, various scenes play with each girls shining in their lives and interests without needing the jeans. when the scene returns to school uniformed nabi, she has managed to break into the locker and is placing the gift bag in it. she smiles and closes the door. the scene then skips to a girl who's clearly a loner. she opens her locker and it's obviously the one nabi has broken into. she's surprised to find the bag and cautiously opens it. Inside she finds the gifts and a note falls that reads: "i've grown out of these, but they should fit you :) try them!"

from APRIL 16 to APRIL 18 the girls will be filming the videos for GIRL'S CAPITALISM and SWEET DREAMS, then from APRIL 19 to APRIL 27, the girls will be heading to LISBON to film the music videos for ETA, BITE ME, PLAY LOVE GAMES and NOVA IUVENTA's episodes. finally, on MAY 2 they will filming a choreography practice for NEW JEANS. besides GIRL'S CAPITALISM and ETA, the other videos will slowly be released after the come back as special content for fans

PROMOTIONS

music show promotions will begin on thursday MAY 9. during the first week, they will perform both 'NEW JEANS' and 'GIRL'S CAPITALISM', then, starting from the 16, will only perform the main title track; 'GIRL'S CAPITALISM', then for their last week of promotions, from MAY 30 to JUNE 5 the group will perform 'ETA'.

as group reward from the writing challenge, the girls will also WIN all 6 SHOWS fom MAY 16 to MAY 22.

just as before, the girls will be visiting KBS' FM 'KISS THE RADIO' where they will sing 'GIRL'S CAPITALISM', 'ETA' and 'NEW JEANS' live. this will be followed by a recording of 'GIRL'S CAPITALISM' and 'BITE ME' with a live band for 'it's LIVE'. the group will also appear on STUDIO CHOOM to perform 'SWEET DREAMS'.

after a year of getting to ease into variety shows, this round of promotions, NOVA will go on MMTG for a 'one year check up' (their evolution in one year and trending memes) and HUMAN IDOL THEATER, on which the girls will be pretending to be part the student council of the fictional 'NOVA SCHOOL OF LIFE', where each will have to act like one of the rules from the 'Girl's Capitalism' mv (if you have never watched this show, you can get an idea of it here and here)

ACTING MISSION 018

all of the actors are called to a meeting with their managers, BYUN MIDO, HAN YOOHWA, KIM DONGSUN, and SEO HEEJUNG. not wanting to waste any time, the managers begin going through everything that will be happening in the new term.

DORMS

HEEJUNG begins to tells them the rules and information regarding housing, “in the past terms, we’ve allowed everyone who has joined legacy agency the option to stay in dorms or find their own place. however, due to the incident that happened a few months ago and how our bosses have been telling us to be ever so more watchful towards all of you, we’ve changed our rules. similar to last term, every person who joins the subsidiary will stay in the dorms for one term. if you have been under probation before, then that will last two terms — one for the term where you were under probation and another to follow every new person that joins us.”

“for the ones that have gone through one term in this path without any warnings, punishments, or scandals during that time, they will be given the option to live offsite. those of you confirmed to stay will be able to move into your new dorms starting from today. otherwise, for those of you who have chosen to stay in your own place, you will need to pack up and leave your current dorms starting from today as well. and just like AECHA has said in the past, just because you aren’t under our watch 24/7 anymore does not mean that you can go crazy. if we hear of any inappropriate behavior, you will be immediately brought back to the dorms.” DONGSUN looks at each one of the actors, making sure that they know and are aware of the new dorm changes.

HEEJUNG stated, “sns is important for exposure for our actors. however, it’s not absolutely imperative, so the rules haven’t changed. you’ll be permitted a PUBLIC INDIVIDUAL INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT after meeting certain conditions. first, you must have completed a full trimester in this path and second, you must have at least 6 posts on the legacy entertainment account already. this just gives us comfort that you know what is or isn’t appropriate. for those of you who are eligible for an account, the information will be provided to you shortly. again, as with the dorms, this privilege can be taken away if you decide to do some funny business.”

DEBUT CONTRACT

“now we’re almost done with the basics, but there’s one legal matter that we have to cover right now.” HEEJUNG turns to look at YOOHWA and MIDO, who is giving the contracts to some of the actors. “please read and review through the new terms and conditions. once you are done, sign and return the contract to me or DONGSUN as soon as possible. it doesn’t have to be done right now, but the sooner the better because your modeling career will be starting soon and we want to make sure this is done in a seamless manner.”

NEW FACES

“a few years ago, JTBC used to air a variety show called ‘NEW FACES’ which included some of our past actors who have been on the show. this time around they want all of you to be a part of the show. filming for this will begin next week and will air every MONDAY starting LATE MAY. for some of our new actors who aren’t a part of BLACK BANQUET or THE HIDDEN ENEMY, this may be your first and wonderful chance to get your name out there and learn about your fellow peers. and as for everyone else, consider this as an opportunity to show some of your variety skills.”

WEEK 1 ( EPISODES 1-2; AIRING MAY 6 & 7 ): each actor will first fill a questionnaire about their personalities, then, they will be asked to act a character they will come up with on the spot. the two mcs ( JO SEHO and UHM HYUNKYUNG ) will try to figure out which questionnaire belongs to whom.

WEEK 2 ( EPISODES 3-4; AIRING MAY 13 & 20 ): actors will be split up into two teams based on when they joined lgc agency; the VETERAN team ( AHN YEIN, BAEK SEONA, LEE HYUNSOO, SHIN JIEUN, YANG AERI, YOON MINJAE, ZHENG LEO ) and ROOKIE team ( BAE SOJIN, CHO MINKYU, KIM CHERRY, KO YEJUN, MOON JINO, NAM GYURI, PARK SUJIN, YOO HAEMIN ) and must guess the right movie based on a random timestamps selected by the actors ( eg. 1 hour, 30 minutes, and 33 seconds ). the mcs will play the audio sample from the movie and last about 3 seconds. the actors must guess what movie it is based on the snippet shown to them. movies will be primarily korean movies, but international ones will be included as well. if the actor who suggested the timestamp gets it incorrect, the other team has a chance to make a guess. if both teams are wrong, the other team gets a chance to suggest a different timestamp of the same movie to get a better idea of what movie it’s from.

WEEK 3 ( EPISODE 5-6; AIRING MAY 27 & JUNE 3 ): actors will be paired up in two or three and be given a random genre and scenario to act out on the spot. ( please refer to the week 3 pairings for which genre and scene was given to them. ) the groups must try to give the most entertaining scene possible in front of a small audience of random people of all ages. the winning team gets to eat steak.

WEEK 4 ( EPISODES 7-8; AIRING JUNE 10 & 17 ): all of the actors will play a confessions game, where one actor ( per round ) will be separate from the other teams with a partition and have their headphones on. the other actors will answer questions related to the actor ( eg. ‘recent moment you’ve had with so and so’, ‘what is one unique thing you’ve noticed or know about the other person?’, ‘when did you first meet the person?’ etc ). if the actor wants to eavesdrop in the conversation, they would need to take one shot of bitter tea. WEEK 5 ( EPISODES 9-10; AIRING JUNE 24 & JULY 1 ): actors will be separated into two teams; TEAM NEW ( AHN YEIN, CHO MINKYU, KIM CHERRY, KO YEJUN, LEE HYUNSOO, MOON JINO, YANG AERI, YOO HAEMIN ) TEAM FACE ( BAE SOJIN, BAEK SEONA, NAM GYURI, PARK SUJIN, SHIN JIEUN, YOON MINJAE, ZHENG LEO ) to play dodge ball. the person who gets hit by the ball has to go out in the JTCB public area and act as a random character from a movie or drama ( not produced by lgc ) for 3 minutes.

WEEK 6 ( EPISODES 11-12; AIRING JULY 8 & 15 ): the actors will each be given trophies for their achievements during the show, naturally categories are often nonsensical ( example: best water drinker ). filming will begin with a red carpet where the actors will need to be dressed up like they’re attending a prestigious award ceremony. each actor will win a prize and be asked to make a speech.

WEEK 3 PAIRINGS

BAE SOJIN & KO YEJUN & NAM GYURI: horror ( genre ), saying goodbye to a loved one at the airport ( scenario ).

LEE HYUNSOO & YANG AERI: comedy ( genre ), a broken teleporter transports a pair to random locations ( scenario ).

AHN YEIN & KIM CHERRY: science fiction ( genre ), two realtors trying to sell famous fairytale character homes ( scenario ).

BAEK SEONA & MOON JINO: romance ( genre ), an exercise class for action movie stars ( scenario ).

CHO MINKYU & PARK SUJIN: detective ( genre ), a writing team trying to think up new fortunes for fortune cookies ( scenario ).

SHIN JIEUN & YOO HAEMIN: historical ( genre ), a pair of older folks share the lessons they wished they had learned sooner ( scenario )

YOON MINJAE & ZHENG LEO: thriller ( genre ), support group for evil henchmen ( scenario )

NEW FACES: write a 300+ word solo or a 4 replies ( 2 posts per mun; minimum 8 lines ) thread with another actor about any episode for +5 POINTS TO DISTRIBUTE ANYWHERE and +3 NOTORIETY ! ** for black banquet/the hidden enemy musical muses, you may do this up to 2 times while everyone else can do it up to 3 times **

NEW FACES AWARDS: write a 250+ word solo about the award that was given to them for the finale. the post must include the award given to them ( which you can make it up, but as mentioned previously it would have to be a nonsensical award ) and a speech, which must be at least 100+ WORDS in DIALOGUE. completing this will earn you +5 VARIETY and +2 NOTORIETY !
