An important note about Christian Mission
Having to face our prejudices requires humility. Mission also requires time and emotional energy. Investing in others’ lives and truly caring for them can be taxing. In an age when we are stressed keeping up with our own lives and problems, providing emotional support can seem just too exhausting.

The truth about being a Christian is that one has the purpose of spreading God's word. The truth about this duty is it was never easy. In fact, from the time of Noah, the disciples to the modern day of preachers — the call always seemed a burden.
Gladly today, an excerpt from our Lesson Review states:
"Another misunderstanding that stops us from accepting God’s call into mission is believing that success depends on ourselves... Our call is not to do the saving but to cooperate with God in His saving work. We give testimony praising God for specific ways He is changing us, but only God can draw people to Himself. We can plant seeds of truth, but only God can convert the heart."
This reminds me, personally, that telling about Him is not about success rates and our own abilities but still, our trust in Him and our faith in His Word and miracles. Truly, in the Christian journey, we are never alone for God is always here with us.

How to resist temptation?
This is a very difficult question to answer.
As a Christian for almost my whole life, how do we actually resist temptation? Personally, I don't have an answer until today because I just played an online game even if I shouldn't have.
Nonetheless, the Bible reminds us:
"You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" — 1 John 4:4 (NIV)

Hello! Happy Sabbath
This blog is dedicated to stuff related to God and the Bible. This may also include personal reflection and witness, every now and then. By the way, my name is Bea and I hope to be friends with anyone who needs to talk to about the Bible and/or life on Earth as a Christian.
I hope you're having a great evening/day :)
