Bakudeku vr Kiribaku

This is actually a well versed argument among many fans of the anime Boku No My Hero Academia, whether or not the pairing between Bakugou and Izuku "Deku", or the pairing between Bakugou and Kirishima is Canon or valid. Of course, the fun of shipping characters is that it makes you happy to see this. I will be fighting on the side of Kirishima and Bakugou, and anyone is welcome to reblog with a follow up argument, though I will put my own.

let's face it - there's a lot more evidence. Kirishima is named after a mountain range that erupted April 20th, Bakugous favorite past time and birthday. Kirishima and Bakugou matched Halloween costumes, And he has been described as 'chicken soup for Kacchans soul.' Now let's break down the characters personal relationships. His mother is loud and aggressive,just like him, and is described as someone who comes on strong. She and her son doubtly have a good relationship with the issues involved. His father is the opposite, weak and submissive, and could have no defense from his father. this is portrayed when Bakugou can be seen yelling at kids, and tell todoroki it's how he was raised, and sees nothing wrong with it. Deku is someone he's always looked down on, and who's told him he's amazing since they were toddlers. Stroking a childs ego is a common thing to do, but not often with other kids. This and the way he sees Deku creates an unhealthy relationship from the start, if you ignore the trauma and bullying the main character went through because of Bakugou. As a child, Deku himself hated Katsuki and wanted to kill and seriously wound him. They have improved their own relationship as the series continues, gradually but it's still a long way to go from almost a decade and a half pure despise to love.Kirishima is the only one who he sees as an equal, as stated by Izuku himself.He challenges him, cheers him on in competitions and races, and Katsuki does the exact same. The fans often potray them with a bakudeku type relationship, a superior/inferior type, when this is far from the truth, because Ejirou is unafraid to put him in his place as his quirk doesn't hurt Kirishima when his own is activated, an ideal situation for a relationship.

love interests. It's clear who Deku will end up with, even if the fans think it's boring. Him and Ochako. While Mina Ashido is a potential mate for Kirishima (compatible quirks, back story.) I believe that her and Sero will be together, whom has no fixed love interest. Bakugou doesn't have his, as far as the fans know. This increases the risk of the ship. Take Mina out of the equation, it's extremely likely now.

Kirishima and his sexuality (aka a color coded, glass tinted closet.) In his description, it says he likes meat and tough guys. This could be completely normal, except he did indeed have a crush on a male hero (I don't know when it what hero,but I know it happened! ^^) and the risk of this becoming Canon just gets higher and higher, especially since it's confirmed that Kirishima sees men just a little bit more attractive than his average male classmates .

I'm not going to mention the suits in the movie, because it's been reviewed and broken down multiple times by multiple people.

The smash comics have to be approved by Hirokoshi, btw.
