Continuation (2) Kieta Hatsukoi

Ida seeing Aoki and Saionji together ➡️ pressed the buzzer for bill ➡️ Aoki came and was like DONT PLAY WITH THE BUZZER ➡️ Ida’s teammates were concerned about Ida’s sudden change in behaviour

Ida: my chest hurts (むかむかして: feeling sick/queasy)

No guesses as to why but

Aoki searching for some medicines for Ida while Ida was more concerned about why and what Aoki was talking about with Saionji back at the shop

And surprise surprise, upon knowing the content…

Ida: I’m well / I’m cured

Seeeeee this should be shown in the drama tooooo that Ida is as affected as Aoki lolol sigh

3) them boys going to the shrine during New Year.

Not really a big event but well, the way Ida looked at Aoki here… 🥺

4) Aoki finding out Ida’s birthday is on 8th of March

And he got all excited because his birthday is on 10th of April, and he was a year older than Ida

5) Aoki wanting to be a good boyfriend who gives great gift on said boyfriend’s birthday BUT lacking the funds.

So what did he do? He took up a part time job at a kaiten sushi shop.

Introducing a new female character called Saionji, who is also a part timer at the shop….

And also happens to be in the same school as Aoki and Ida

Aoki likes to talk about what happened at work… so finally finally FINALLY we see a real jealous Ida (which should be depicted in the drama cause we always see Aoki being the one all flustered etc etc etc)

He chose the kaiten sushi shop as the place to celebrate his birthday with the rest of the volleyball club.

And yet, the moment he saw the two of them getting all close and whispering to each other, he reacted by pressing the call for bill button 🤣

Sigh. Can we have a season 2 please?

Especially cause Ida continues to show a bit of jealousy towards Saionji when she teased Ida about maybe liking Aoki lol

Anyway the manga is still ongoing, so.. more gold for us even if there’s no season 2

Although sensei, I wonder when are they gonna finally kiss in the manga hahaha. They already stayed in a hotel room together albeit separate futon, with Ida being all “i cant sleep well because of you” lolol

Having a slight withdrawal right now, knowing my Saturday nights will be quite empty with nothing to look forward to -channeling Aoki LOL-

I hope there would be a special (like Cherry Maho) or a season 2 (we still need to know more about Aida and Hashimoto!!!) or a movie, since Meguro Ren and Michieda Shunsuke are very popular nowadays.

There were quite a couple of scenes I personally wish were depicted in the drama 🥲

1) Aoki helping out at his sister’s cake shop. It really highlights his personality of putting others first (since he was all down after fighting with Ida) and well… Aoki in this outfit? Cute.

Not to mention how Hashimoto was being super protective over her dear friend Aoki.

“You’re cruel Ida-kun! Aoki-kun is trembling and crying!”

“Eh? Un. If you’re asking where is Aoki-kun, he’s at the cake shop. Yes the one opposite the train station”

And Aida was like “don exaggerate” LOL

And Ida being Ida, came over to look for Aoki and was forced to help by Aoki’s sister.

And come on, Ida in this outfit? Yes please lol

And then they managed to reconcile and shared a cake between themselves, and Aoki being Aoki, managed to leave behind some cream on his cheek.

2) I wish there was the scene of Akkun and Hashimoto trying to become closer by calling each other using nicknames

Here Aida was trying to say Hashimoto’s given name, Mio but end up being all embarrassed about it

Aoki ended up witnessing that incident and was wondering about being called using his own given name… here’s him checking with Ida whether Ida knows Aoki’s given name

And Ida’s like, “It’s Souta, right”

And then Aoki got all flustered of course lol.
