sorry i haven’t posted to this blog in months, i mostly made it to post elder scrolls stuff and then i immediately lost interest completely in tes

but i would like to let everyone know that i’m making my own elder scrolls with blackjack and hookers. and this isn’t even a joke i am actually making a fantasy setting that’s everything i like about elder scrolls without any of the things i don’t like

(like the divines approving of colonialism or the whole what if people of color were the real racists thing. basically anytime mk was a PoS)

i obviously can’t make any promises as to whether or not it’ll be good but i will be having fun so it’s not all in vain and it’s not like i’m going to make it a serious thing anyways, the most i might do is make a wiki and release it as a possible fanmade setting for the TTRPG of your choice

i also can’t make any promises that i’ll have continued interest in this project but hey it’ll be a fun thing to tinker away at if i feel like it. i’ll try to keep it low stakes so i dont get like, bored or overwhelmed, and we’ll see where it goes

so i guess like, let me know if there’s anything you’d like to see in Elderscrolls 2. i already have a small list of things i’m definitely keeping but i’m always open to adding more. obviously they’ll be given new names so bethesda’s lawyers don’t hunt me down for sport but the spirit will be kept as much as i can lol

haven't been posting much on this blog cause ive been burnt out as all hell on the elder scrolls fanbase and frankly would prefer to possibly temporarily leave it behind but i got a fic comment that begs to be shared, because it begins by saying "I don't know how much TES lore you know, but..." and then immediately continuing on to claim that "...Miraak and Kohnariik [sic] fought for Tamriel in the first age, I believe it was" which at first glance i mistakenly assumed was 3 mistakes in one sentence but upon closer inspection it's 4. wait, actually it's 5. the commenter made 5 mistakes in one sentence my goodness

#it also straightwashed the admittedly left-a-bit-vague attraction #of a male character towards another male character #by calling it ''paternal affection'' #no sir. it's not.
