//Attention mutuals!

I will be moving this blog to being a side blog to my personal. You will not be obligated to follow both the side blog and my personal for it, don't worry. Just following my RP blog back is enough for us to be mutuals.

Anyway, I'll be working on this for this and a couple of other blogs of mine just to make it less stressful to run so many blogs. The url will be the same and no threads will be dropped. I'll announce when this blog has been officially moved though I will be going ahead and changing the url here so I can work on it.

"I'll fight him if the situation arises." Vague, but he does mean if Connor pisses him off. That's enough to start a fight, right? Being pissed off by a dude he's strangely jealous of. Though luckily it seems as though the subject is being changed to that of her needing a favor making him forget about Connor. For now, anyway.

"What? That all?" A soft huff escapes him at the simple request. A simple one he likely would have turned down if anyone else had asked him. "Yeah, come on." Just like that, the attitude is gone and he's already leading her off to his car. Maybe because he's feeling like he's won a little seeing as how she's depending on him over Connor.

"What reason would I have to take anything about on you?" Has he ever in the past? Not that he recalled, but he supposes he does have a bit of a reputation. "If I have beef with him, it'd make most sense to take it out on him, right?" Only made sense, really. But he's shaking his head and sighing "I'm not gonna fight the dude, okay?" Unless Connor gives him a reason to need to fight him, really. Being jealous the guy is befriending the girl he's into isn't quite enough of a reason to fight him. Connor hasn't proven to be competition just yet.

"Guy doesn't look like he could win a fight anyway. Too goofy lookin." He huffs a bit of laughter as he says this. Only little does he know that he's terribly wrong. "So what? You hanging with him out of pity?"

"Seriously? You're friends with that guy?" The question comes as he notes that city guy that recently moved to Hawkins parts ways with Saskia. Normally he'd see them walking off together, but today, Connor seemed to need to head straight home. He hadn't caught the specifics. Didn't care. "Isn't he.. you know - kind of a dork?" His own question brings himself to snort a bit in mild amusement though the sound is almost inaudible.

"Or are you just desperate because none of these other jackasses give you the time of day?" Yeah, he said it. Made it pretty clear he didn't like much of anyone that attended their school and he wasn't afraid of putting that out there either. Most people knew that already. Gavin is known for being pretty vocal about his opinions; Clearly having a difficulty with keeping his mouth shut. Especially when his mouth got him into trouble a lot of the time. No trouble he hasn't managed to get out of though, of course.

Maybe the reason why he's speaking up here is due to the fact that yeah, he's kind of jealous. Connor suddenly coming into town and getting on the good side of the girl he likes? Yeah, that's no good. Though this doesn't exactly help him out either. Running his mouth. Not as much as he typically does, at least.

Gavin actually knows that. How to treat a burn. Though it seems to escape him that he should in the heat of the moment. Literally. "Yeah? And what do you suggest I do? Strip and lay over the sink?" He's being a smart ass even if he knows there are solutions. Such as finding a cloth to soak and cover it at the very least though it's not like he just goes around carrying cloth to use for this situation.

"I have an ice pack somewhere." It'd been some random gift from Connor that he'd placed in his desk. One of those packs that worked kind of like icy hot, but without the hot part. "That'll probably work well enough." With that in mind, he's forgotten about getting coffee for himself and now working on retrieving said pack. It takes a moment or two for him to actually find it buried within the confines of his desk, but he does find it.

"Who are you anyway? You new?" Seeing as he didn't quite recognize her. Since so many of the same people have worked there so long, he can only imagine she must be new. Maybe he'll cut her some slack then.

Well, this was a bit of a shit way to end his day. His search for a quick caffeine fix before he headed out for the day seemed to be met with Liselle spilling extremely hot coffee onto the detective. "Fuck! Fuck!" Yeah, it's hot all right; Finding this out as the liquid spills out when the two collide with one another as they both rounded opposite corners at the same time.

While Liselle seemed to avoid getting burned by the scorching hot liquid herself, Gavin hadn't been as lucky. Shirt wasn't enough to shield him as it quickly soaked through the fabric whilst stray droplets also manage to drip onto exposed arms due to his not having put his jacket on yet. Big mistake, clearly. "Fucking hell that's hot." And as much as he'd love to just cuss her out for bumping into him and causing this to happen - as though it's solely her fault - Gavin is far too busy moving toward the counter in hopes of using napkins to dry himself off in a bit of a hurry.

Part of him wants to ask about her mentioning wanting actual parents, but he feels it's not something she'd want to talk to a practical stranger about so soon. In the past, he may have obliviously ended up asking, but it's been pointed out plenty of times that he tends to ask personal questions when it's not needed. Or likely wanted. He assumes that this would be one of the times he needs to not ask.

"The library?" That's actually where he'd been on his way to. Or at least attempting to find as he hasn't quite memorized the layout of the school yet. "I was actually already trying to find my way there." He smiles a little at the fact they both seemed to be headed toward the same destination anyway. What a coincidence. "I'd love to, if you wouldn't mind."

"I guess you could say we needed a break from the city." Because who knew whether this move was permanent or not? Hank could end up missing it, desire to return even if not to work. Or even take them elsewhere. Though Connor is almost old enough to live on his own now.. he'd have to move regardless, wouldn't he? The question is whether or not he would like this place enough to decide if he wanted to stay.

"I've heard most people tend to long for what they grow up without." He's talking about people from small towns desiring to venture to the city and vice versa. It made sense, really. "I can see why though." So it wasn't really weird. To him, anyway.
