Thing is, he’s hoping that Naoko got out, seeing as he can find neither hide nor hair nor mention of her recently. He hopes she’s not dead. And going on a hunch, he has to beg Majima for a crumb.

He’s not used to begging anymore. Gave up on that years ago.

Parroting his younger brother is more than likely one of the reasons he will die in the future -- on top of several other things, like existing -- but Gorou’s not one to play too careful even when he should. Yes, whistle and walk away with his tail between his legs when he’s been berated, but it won’t stop him from doing it again. A third time, or fourth, or tenth. To act like he has any self-preservation left would imply that he sees a future worth sticking around for, worth making an effort in the company for.

Ah, he’s getting away from himself again, getting all gloomy.

He grins and leans to pat Junior on the shoulder, even if his younger brother looks like he’d rather bite Gorou’s hand off. “Don’t worry about it, we’ll be fine. Clear sailing-- or... y’know, flying, all the way.”

minimal themes / basecodes… 

as i released my original basecode 4 years ago ( !!! ) i thought i’d publish updated ( and slightly tidier ) versions.  all sections in the code are labelled for ease of editing - no further instructions are included in the code, but for help with editing, please see my theme 101 tutorials & other coding tutorials.

these codes are very basic but are fully functional themes in their own right.  they are html and css based codes ( with the exception of the tooltips script ).  there are also examples of ‘calc’ functions and ‘if’ options in the themes as well as different post block sizes.

they’re also pretty much where i start when i make my own themes ♥
