Charles Darwin, on the Origin of Species by means of Natural Selection.
Charles Darwin is most famously known for his theory of natural selection, this being that animals with certain characteristics which benefited their survival would be more likely to survive and be able to reproduce. This meaning that those characteristics that helped it survival will continue on into the next generation and so forth.
However his theory wasn’t well received, due to the time error that he was born in the belief in God and religion was still incredibly strong and his theory in evolution and natural selection challenge the idea of God and his divine creation and he didn’t have the evidence needed to convince many scientists of his time. Thr knowledge and research about variation and inheritance would not be known until 50yrs after his theory was published.

Kid robot sells a bunch of cute cartoon foods and some are even interactive.
All three of these plushies how more than one part to them and everything about them is really cute! The amount of detail is really cool on them as well, especially the macaroni with all the food details on the side. This is where I got the idea to use Velcro to connect the top half of my plush together with the bottom half as that’s how you would eat it.
There are a lot of bright eye catching colours to draw people in , some are indoors and some have shelter built over the market. Both food and materials goods , wether that be fresh food like fruit and veggies or fast food ready to eat while you explore the market.
Jack Teagle is a freelance illustrator who has worked in editorial; character design; storyboarding; poster, product, and textile design; and as a cartoonist.
This character looks like a space entity , like she is actually made of space in some way. The only defining features is the bright white hair which stands out against all the black and the eyes which are the same colour as the stars but hold a different shape.
The Troll Market is a setting in Hellboy II: The Golden Army. It is a magical shopping market hidden from the world of men which contains many different creatures selling many different things to make a living. These creatures were all designed as surreal and exotic as the artists were told to stay away from ‘ movie monsters’
The tad pole vendor
The clothes are well worn and there are no bright colours , probably to blend in and not stand out.
Silkard,the fish vendor.
The vendor looks very aquatic and is selling fish which makes sense but people can get a bit iffy about stuff like that since its almost like fish selling other fish to be eaten but it makes more sense the more you think about it.
The organ grinder.
The clothes are dirty and worn so you can see that they are well used along with his machine that they carry with them . The only colour they wear is the deep red fabric which frames the machine maybe indicating its importance to them.
The Mos Espa marketplace is a vast shopping area located in the city of Mos Espa, a spaceport on the sun-scorched planet Tatooine. In the final decades of the Galactic Republic, the marketplace was big and busy, with many shops and market stalls where various types of fruits, meat and beverages could be bought.
The market was divided into several specialized quarters, some of which served to the needs of the locals, while others housed engines mechanics, droid repairers or even illegal weapons dealers. Many vendors of the Mos Espa market placed cooling units near their products as a way of drawing potential customers from the hot, suffocating steets.Among the food shops found on the marketplace were Gragra's gorgmonger booth
Street food is fast and easy to get and is very popular with tourists as it’s an easy way to try different foods from places they visit since you can usually find multiple food vendors in one area. Street food around the world varies an insane amount cause different countries and different places have access to different types of ingredients and culturally just eat different foods.
Currywurst, Germany.
Germany is known for sausages so it’s not surprising to find some type of street food based off it, though I’ve never thought about having ketchup and sausages with curry sauce . Though I wouldn’t be opposed to trying it.
Takoyaki , Japan.
Any one even slightly interested in Japan in any way has probably at least heard of Takoyaki, it’s incredibly popular . It’s basically fried octopus dough balls , I’ve never tried octopus so I can’t really say wether or not I’d like it.
Cuy, Peru.
This is the most outlandish one for me since I’ve never really thought of eating a Guinea pig before. But it’s a delicacy in Peru and apparently tastes similar to duck, which I’m not overly fond of anyway.

This is a sketch from the main characters from Fantastic beasts and where to find them book with all the information on mythical beasts. This is about the niffler. The pages are yellowed and worn to show the age of the book and that it’s heavily used. The image is hand drawn and the notes are hand written so this is something that the character has made themselves and is unique to them.
This is a design for Pick’n’trix which is a sweet from the weasley twins shop. It’s design is bright, bold and eye catching wich matches the weasley twins personality perfectly. The design itself just screams Fred and George.
These are both made in a similar style but one is more worn and less clean. The flyer type one is more worn as it would be outside and would possibly be handled by a lot of people . The font is also bigger and more to the point to emphasise the importance of the information compared to the small font of the story in the daily prophet.
This is the final product of my plushie and I’m really happy with how it’s turned out, especially since it’s my first time doing something like this. I definitely think using fabric paint for the face was the right call rather than attempting to sew on the tiny details. I might have considered doing it, but I found out during the process of sewing the fabric pieces together that the fabric did not always take kindly to the needle. My fingers were very sore at the end. On the last photo you can see some of my classmates alien food plushies.
