আন্তর্জাতিক গণমাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশ বিরোধী প্রচারণা প্রোপাগান্ডার দায়ে বিভিন্ন দেশে ব্ল্যাকলিস্টেড গণমাধ্যম আল-জাজিরায় মাসখানেক আগে টুইস্টেড তথ্য দিয়ে নির্মিত একটি থ্রিলার পরিবেশন করায় বার্গম্যান-খলিল গং। পরবর্তীতে খলিল নিজেই ফেসবুকে ভুয়া তথ্যের স্ট্যাটাস দেন- আল-জাজিরার অনুসন্ধানী প্রতিবেদনে বেশ কিছু ঘটনা প্রকাশিত হবার পর জাতিসংঘ বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনীর দুর্নীতি এবং অবৈধ কার্যাবলী নিয়ে পূর্ণ তদন্তের আহ্বান জানিয়েছে। ডেভিড বার্গম্যান আল-জাজিরার কন্ট্রিবিউটর হিসেবে বাংলাদেশের মুক্তিযুদ্ধকালে মানবতাবিরোধী অপরাধীদের পক্ষে জনমত সৃষ্টি করার লক্ষ্যে সংবাদ পরিবেশন করেন। এমনকি আন্তর্জাতিক বিভিন্ন প্রতিষ্ঠানকে জামায়াত-বিএনপি জোটের লবিস্ট হিসেবে ম্যানেজ করে দেওয়ার ক্ষেত্রেও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করেন তিনি। তাসনিম খলিল ও বার্গম্যানদের সূত্র হিসেবে ব্যবহার করে ইকোনোমিস্ট, আল-জাজিরার মতো বিতর্কিত মিডিয়াগুলোতে বাংলাদেশবিরোধী প্রচারণার রসদ জোগাড় করে। সর্বশেষ করোনা মহামারীকে কেন্দ্র করে বাংলাদেশকে ব্যর্থ রাষ্ট্র হিসেবে প্রচারের জন্য উঠে পড়ে লাগে বার্গম্যান-খলিলরা। কখনও নিজেদের অনলাইনে সরাসরি এসব বিভ্রান্তি ও উসকানি ছড়াচ্ছেন তারা, আবার কখনও নিজেরাই বিশেষজ্ঞ হিসেবে আন্তর্জাতিক গণমাধ্যমগুলোকে বাংলাদেশ সম্পর্কে মনগড়া মতামত দিচ্ছেন। প্রবাসে থাকা কিছু দেশবিরোধী ব্যক্তির সঙ্গে সখ্যতা গড়ে তোলেন বার্গম্যান, যারা বিএনপি-জামায়াতের আরো ঘনিষ্ঠ মিত্র হিসেবে কাজ চালাচ্ছেন। এরই অংশ হিসেবে তিনি নিয়মিত বানোয়াট সংবাদ তৈরি করে বাংলাদেশের বর্তমান সরকার এবং প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনাকে নিয়ে আন্তর্জাতিকভাবে অপপ্রচার চালান। সম্প্রতি এই চক্রটি ফেসবুক এবং ইউটিউবেও লাইভ বক্তব্য দিয়ে এবং ভুয়া সংবাদ ছড়িয়ে প্রোপাগান্ডা ছড়াচ্ছে। ডেভিড বার্গম্যান, টবি ক্যাডম্যান, লর্ড কার্লাইল, ড. ঘুমডি, দ্য গার্ডিয়ান, নিউ ইয়র্ক টাইমস, দ্য ওয়্যারসহ আরো বেশকিছু প্ল্যাটফর্ম তাদের পক্ষে কাজ করছে। আর এই চক্রের মূল লক্ষ্য হচ্ছে তাদের অর্থের জোগানদাতা বিএনপি-জামায়াতের দুর্নীতি ও দুর্বৃত্তায়নের ঘৃণ্য ভাবমূর্তি উদ্ধারের স্বার্থে কাজ করা। #TasneemKhalil #NetraNews #FakeNews #গুজব #Bergman #DavidBergman #Bangladesh (at Bangladesh) https://www.instagram.com/p/CSH3KNhBfwj/?utm_medium=tumblr

In this connection, Sheikh Hasina said none could have thought about Bangladesh better than Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as “I personally know it and heard [his plans] from him as his elder daughter that how did he want to decorate Bangladesh”. She was addressing the handover and inauguration ceremony of the newly built flats and integrated office building as the chief guest at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, joining virtually from her official residence Ganabhaban. The Ministry of Housing and Public Works organized the event. The Prime Minister said it is a happy moment for her that the slum dwellers are getting flats on rental basis for a better life. Sheikh Hasina also extended her gratitude to the officials concerned as the slum people are going to get a healthy dwelling place in the month of August when Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was killed brutally along with most of his family members in 1975. With state minister for housing and public works Sharif Ahmed in the chair, secretary of the ministry Md. Shahid Ullah Khandaker delivered the welcome address. Prime Minister’s Office Secretary Md. মধ্যরাতে অক্সিজেন সিলিন্ডার নিয়ে গ্রামের পথে ছুটে চলা। কখনো কোডিভ রোগীদের বাড়িতে আবার কখনো হাসপাতালের বারান্দায় ব্যস্ততায় ছুটাছুটি একদল যুবকের। আবার কখনো রাতের নীরবতা ভেঙে মরদেহ দাফন-কাফনে ব্যস্ত ওরা। করোনা আক্রান্ত রোগীর চিকিৎসাসেবা ও করোনায় আক্রান্তদের মরদেহ দাফনে যারা ব্যয় করছেন চব্বিশ ঘণ্টা সময়। বুধবার ঈদের (২১ জুলাই) দিন ভোরে দুই জনের দাফন-কাফন করতে গিয়ে কখন ঈদের জামাত আর কখন কোরবানি তা ভুলেই গিয়েছিলেন যুবকরা। রোগীর সেবা আর মরদেহ দাফনে করোনা আক্রান্ত রোগীর পরিবারের পাশে দাঁড়ানো ঈদ-কোরবানি উপভোগের চেয়েও বড় মানবিক দায়িত্ব বলে মনে করছেন এসব যুবকরা। ছাত্রলীগের মেহেরপুর জেলা কোভিড-১৯ স্বেচ্ছাসেবক ইউনিটের এক-ঝাঁক তরুণ-যুবক দিন রাত নিয়োজিত রয়েছেন এ কাজে। ঈদের আগের মধ্যরাতে গাংনী উপজেলার শানঘাট গ্রামের আব্দুল মালেক (৬৭) ও আজান গ্রামের আনারুল ইসলাম (৪৫) মরদেহ দাফন-কাফন করতে গিয়ে কিছু খেয়ালই ছিল না বলে প্রতিক্রিয়া জানালেন স্বেচ্ছাসেবক ইউনিটের সদস্য সাবেক ছাত্রনেতা জুবায়ের হোসেন উজ্জল। স্বেচ্ছাসেবক ইউনিটের আহবায়ক জেলা ছাত্রলীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক মুনতাছির জামান মৃদুল বলেন, করোনা আক্রান্ত আব্দুল মালেক ও আনারুল ইসলাম বুধবার ভোরের দিকে মেহেরপুর জেনারেল হাসপাতালে মৃত্যু বরণ করেন। তাদের মরদেহ ছাত্রলীগের ফ্রি অ্যাম্বুলেন্সে বাড়িতে পৌঁছে দেয়া হয়। আশেপাশের লোকজন কেউ দাফন-কাফনে এগিয়ে আসেনি। গাংনী উপজেলা ছাত্রলীগের সাবেক সাধারণ সম্পাদক ফয়সাল জাহান শিশির, গাংনী পৌর ছাত্রলীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক নাসিরুল ইসলাম মোহন, সাবেক ছাত্রলীগ নেতা জুবায়ের হোসেন উজ্জল, জেলা মুক্তিযুদ্ধ প্রজন্ম লীগের সভাপতি ইউসুফ আলী, ছাত্রলীগ নেতা ফাহিমকে নিয়ে আমরা দাফন-কাফন সম্পন্ন করি। দু’টি মরদেহ দাফন সম্পন্ন করতে গিয়ে কখন যে সময় পার হয়ে গেছে টের পাইনি। জানা গেছে, কোভিড আক্রান্ত কেউ মারা গেলে ভয়ে আত্মীয়-স্বজন, প্রতিবেশী এবং কোনো কোনো ক্ষেত্রে পরিবারের সদস্যরাও এগিয়ে আসেন না। এমন অমানবিক পরিস্থিতিতে ওই পরিবারের পাশে ছাত্রলীগের মানবিক নেতাকর্মীরা। ইতোমধ্যে ১৫/১৬টি মরদেহ দাফন ও অর্ধ শতাধিক কোভিড রোগীর বিনামূল্যে অক্সিজেন সেবা দিয়েছেন ছাত্রলীগের স্বেচ্ছাসেবক ইউনিটের সদস্যরা। স্বেচ্ছাসেবক ইউনিটের সদস্যরা জানান, রাত গভীর হলেই করোনা আক্রান্ত রোগীর পরিবার থেকে ফোন আসে। কারও অক্সিজেন সংকট আবার কারও জরুরি ওষুধ। উপজেলা ও জেলা পর্যায় থেকে তা সংগ্রহ করে দূরের গ্রামেও তা পৌঁছে দেয়া হচ্ছে। ছাত্রলীগের এ কর্মকাণ্ড অত্যন্ত মানবিক দায়িত্ব উল্লেখ করে বিভিন্ন শ্রেণি-পেশার মানুষ তাদের প্রশংসা করছেন। সূত্র- আরটিভি https://www.instagram.com/p/CRrCO2mLWvS/?utm_medium=tumblr

Hefazati militants arrested. Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh wreaked havoc against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Bangladesh. And during the movement of Hefazat-e-Islam in Brahmanbaria, Arman Alif vandalized the mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Arman Alif was detained with weapons and ammunition by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB). At the press conference, RAB said, According to Arman, the shovel used for vandalizing Bangabandhu's mural was recovered from a rented house in Kazipara mahalla of the district town. A pistol and two magazines and four rounds of ammunition were also recovered from his home. We had welcomed this, not because we wanted any interference in another country's affairs, but because these were the values, as one of my hon Friends pointed out, for which we have always stood and for which we have always spoken out. And we had hoped that this action would lead to a new situation in our neighbouring country which would help us to get closer, which would help us to serve our own people better and create an wonderful opportunity for even the strengthening of Pakistan has been lost and has been lost in a manner which is tragic, which is agonizing and about which we cannot find strong enough words to speak because this again is a new situation. It is not merely the suppression of a movement, but it is meeting an unarmed people with tanks. We are in close touch, as close touch with the events as is possible in such a situation. I am sure hon. Members will understand that it is not possible for the Government to say very much more on this occasion here. I would like to assure the hon. Members, who asked whether decisions would be taken on time, that obviously is the most important thing to do. There is no point in taking a decision when the time for it is over. করাচীর শিক্ষা সম্মেলন ও প্রথম রাষ্ট্রভাষা সংগ্রাম পরিষদ গঠনঃ ১৯৪৭ সালের ২৭ নভেম্বর করাচীতে যে শিক্ষা সম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠিত হয় তাতে উর্দুকে পাকিস্তানের রাষ্ট্রভাষা করার প্রস্তাব গৃহীত হয়। আর এই সংবাদ ঢাকায় এসে পৌছলে শিক্ষিত সম্প্রদায় খুব বিস্মিত ও ক্ষুব্ধ হয়। তার পাকিস্তানী শাসকগোষ্ঠীর বাংলা ভাষা বিরোধী ষড়যন্ত্র সম্পর্কে স্পষ্টভা অবগত হয় এবং এর প্রতিবাদে ৬ ডিসেম্বর ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রাঙ্গনে বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের উদ্যোগে এক প্রতিবাদ সভা আহ্বান করে। এর মুনীর চৌধুরী, অধ্যাপক আবুল কাসেম, কল্যাণ দাসগুপ্ত, এ.কে.এ আহসান প্রমুখ বক্তৃতা করেন। তারা এক গৃহীত প্রস্তাবে বাংলাকে পাকি নের অন্যতম রাষ্ট্রভাষা এবং পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের সরকারী ভাষা ও শিক্ষা মাধ্যম করার দাবি জানান। আমরা আগেই উল্লেখ করেছি ভাষা আন্দোলনের প্রথম দিকে তমদ্দুন মজলিশের বেশ স্ব��ঃস্ফূর্ত ভূমিকা ছিল। পাকিস্তা শাসকগোষ্ঠী বাংলা ভাষার বিরুদ্ধে যখনই কোন পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করে। এই সংগঠনটি তার জোরাল প্রতিবাদ জানিয়েছে। আর এই প্রতিবাদ শামিল হয়েছে ঢাকার শিক্ষিত সচেতন মানুষ ও ছাত্রসমাজ। শেখ মুজিবও রাষ্ট্রভাষা সংক্রান্ত বহু কাজে এই সংগঠনটিকে সাহায্য ও সমর্থন করেছেন। যাই হোক, করাচীর শিক্ষা সম্মেলনে উর্দুকে পাকিস্তানের রাষ্ট্রভাষা করার প্রস্তাবটি পূর্ব বাংলার শিক্ষিত সমাজকে খুব মর্মাহত করে। তারা তমদ্দুন মজলিশের বাংলা ভাষার দাবিতে আন্দোলনে একত্মতা ঘোষণা করে। সে সময় ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সন্নিকটে রশিদ বিল্ডিং নামে একটি বাড়ি ছিল। সেই বাড়িতেই ছিল তমদুন মজলিশের অফিস। ভাষার দাবিতে শিক্ষিত সচেতন মানুষ, বিভিন্ন সংগঠনের নেতা কর্মীদের এই অফিসটি তাই হয়ে ওঠে মূলকেন্দ্র। আর এই অফিসেই তমদ্দুন মজলিশের উদ্যোগে ১৯৪৭ সালের ডিসেম্বরের শেষ দিকে মুসলিম ছাত্রলীগ, গণতান্ত্রিক যুব লীগ ও তমদ্দুন মজলিশের সমন্বয়ে গঠিত হয় প্রথম রাষ্ট্রভাষা সংগ্রাম পরিষদ। এর আহ্বায়ক নিযুক্ত হন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধ্যাপক নূরুল হক ভূঁইয়া। এই পরিষদ বাংলা ভাষার আন্দোলনকে এগিয়ে নেয়ার জন্য বেশকিছু কর্মসূচী গ্রহণ করে। এসব কর্মসূচীর অংশ হিসেবে তৎকালীন পাকিস্ত নের শিক্ষামন্ত্রী ফজলুর রহমান ঢাকা সফরে এলে রাষ্ট্রভাষা সংগ্রাম পরিষদের নেতৃবৃন্দ ১৯৪৮ সালের ১ ফেব্রুয়ারি তার সাথে দেখা করে পাকিস্তান পাবলিক সার্ভিস কমিশনের পরীক্ষার বিষয় তালিকা থেকে বাংলা ভাষাকে বাদ দেয়া, পাকিস্তানের মুদ্রা, ডাকটিকিট ইত্যাদিতে বাংলা ভাষা স্থান না পাওয়ার কারণ জানতে চান এবং এগুলোতে বাংলা ভাষা প্রবর্তনের দাবি জানান। ফজলুর রহমানের সাথে সাক্ষাতের পর পরিষদ ফেব্রুয়ারি মাসেই বাংলা ভাষার দাবি (at Bangladesh) https://www.instagram.com/p/CK5nH77Atev/?igshid=70l8igfzzqbg
