I think the ultimate dumbest take on HH I have ever seen has to be someone saying that Velvette served no purpose in the season/overall has no purpose. I don't think I've ever read something a person says online that would make me grit my teeth that hard because how do you even fucking watch something and miss out on something as obvious?

Velvette is the catalyst of literally all the action in S1. Remove her and none of that happens. She's the one who finds the angel's head, brings it in, and starts drama. Starting action and controlling the narrative is her fucking thing. She has a fucking banger of a song. She's set up for S2. What do you mean you don't think Velvette has a purpose?

velvette being a scene kid and then becoming an influencer/fashion designer/entrepreneur actually makes a lot of sense. because, and i hate to say it...

actually, i'd even present the theory that she's directly inspired by jeffree star due to the constant hair/outfit changes. no other character has the kind of dramatic outfit changes she does. if you've ever seen jeffree star's content before, you'd know he has hair/outfit changes that are on the same caliber.

jeffree star is also (as far as i know) the only mainstream influencer who kind of fits the bill of whatever velvette has going on. vaguely scene, EXTREMELY instagram model, INCREDIBLY problematic.

also, getting to the point of silliness here...

i know the outfits are extremely different, but like, the principle of it is there. being at home but still wearing that level of glam.

jeffree star also had a music career, and i could totally see velvette making music like this.
