Doomsday In Wonderland

So our DM (@warriorblood1) sent a very ominous message refencing wonderland and it prompted me to fling our party into the roles of various characters

mostly used the mouse's designs just with more detail but i hate the queens design in the movie so i also used Alice in the country of hearts bc i read one book as a kid and could never find it again and naturally became obsessed

You know a lot of people talk about Matt Brennan and Aabria as being amazing DMs and PCs and especially Emily Axford being a PC extraordinaire, but you know who doesn’t get nearly enough credit?

MURPH!!!

Murph is one of the best D&D homies ever and not nearly enough people give him the credit he deserves.

Murph built a tanky gummy bear man who couldn’t do a ton of damage, but could withstand an ENTIRE ARMY of dudes because his AC was so goddamn high

Murph constantly rolls below average, but is so good at playing his characters that no matter what he rolls he’s incredibly entertaining to watch.

Murph has so many unique and clever concepts for ANY games and characters he makes or plays and is truly inspiring to watch.

Murph fucking kills it on NADDPod and his worlds are so freaking cool and creative.

People don’t recognize how much Murph knows about D&D and how creative he is when it comes to role playing games in general and it’s about time people see how dope his play style is.

There's a lot of controversy over the new Velma show, so I'm just gonna butt in and tell everyone to go watch the Solve-it squad returns if you want to see a "scooby doo, but they're grown up/there's adult humour" kinda show. It's great, it's actually funny, there is a sandwich trick(!!!) the creators don't hate trans people and Brian Rosenthal makes out with a wig on stage.

This is peak theatre and ya'll are hypeing up some shit show again

Headless by Shipwrecked Comedy was so amazing. Never expected a song by a bard to make me tear up though. Cannot say enough good things about the acting, story, writing, production values. I will keep rewatching their older stuff while awaiting their new project. So Poe-verse rewatch here I come!

Favorite family dynamic: Himbo guys who are so genuine and try to be heroes, with their Powerful Witch ladies who have an Aesthetic and use their powers to help others, and their goth daughter who's also a bit into witchcraft

Bromtilda Stan Account Dropped

I’m gonna be so annoying about bromtilda and y’all are gonna just have to bear with me because i just finished the last episode of headless and boy do i have feelings 

Spoilers for the final episode!  

There’s a moment in the final episode that I keep thinking about, and it’s fleeting, it’s a subtle SECOND of the episode that cuts away as fast as it happens and its right before the reveal that Kat’s pointing the sword at Brom. 

Matilda looks up when Ichabod’s grabbing the head and it’s not like she looks excited or anything, she looks disgusted. She looks upset. She sees what’s happening before Ichabod does and you can look at her face and see that she can’t do this anymore.  it’s kind of visceral and I’ve watched it five or six times now, but you can see on her face that it’s gone too far for her, and it’s all because now Matilda knows Kat’s a killer. 

Before, when they tied up the boys, Matilda could perhaps reasonably assume that Brom wasn’t in as much danger as Ichabod. She hadn’t seen Kat kill anyone then, but at this point Kat’s killed two people in cold blood and she’s getting desperate. Matilda KNOWS, and that’s why she does what she does, she does it because she doesn’t want Brom to get hurt. She does what she does for Brom and I just think that’s adorable. 

That moment when you fall in love with your fake husband enough to dezombify your best friend to protect him <3 <3 <3 and shoutout to sinead for being good at acting! Put her in everything please!
