here's something stupid: the catcatfish

some quick facts:

they're nocturnal and tend to roam around while awake.

they have keen senses of smell and hearing, but terrible eyesight. despite this, they also have a tapetum lucidum, making their pupils "glow" in the dark.

their fur is short, dense, and oily to waterproof them.

they prefer a diet of mostly meat and are attracted to strong-smelling food like fish, cheese, and anything fermented.

the elongated dewclaw on each front paw is sharp, flexible, and nonretractable. it injects a venom that causes respiratory failure and cardiac arrest in prey and, in extreme doses, humans. veterenarians typically remove the dewclaw venom glands during the neuter/spay procedure.

they grow to an average of 1m and 23kg (3ft and 50lb) but can reach up to double that length and triple the weight!

The most American thing I've ever done involves spray butter:

While in Canada, I was discussing making waffles with my then partner and her sibling. My long held belief is that while waffles are great, I'm always annoyed by not being able to evenly spread butter on them. I go for pancakes over waffles largely due to this. So during this conversation, I said verbatim: "do y'all have spray butter?"

I was laughed out of the room (lovingly) by two incredibly confused Canadians. The "y'all" just sealed it, an extra layer of American syrup on the waffle. Which is a sentence that could be easily misconstrued!

This acquisition meant that every Glassdoor user was automatically signed up for a Fishbowl account. And because Fishbowl requires users to verify their identities, Glassdoor's terms of service changed to require all users to be verified. … Ever since Glassdoor's integration with Fishbowl, Glassdoor's terms say that Glassdoor "may update your Profile with information we obtain from third parties. We may also use personal data you provide to us via your resume(s) or our other services." This effort to gather information on Fishbowl users includes Glassdoor staff consulting publicly available sources to verify information that is then used to update Glassdoor users' accounts.

Holy shit this is a bad move. Maybe consider deleting your Glassdoor account if you have one? I don't have any experience with Blind, but I hope they don't pull any dumb stunts like this one.
