Here's a doodle that I made and colored of one of my OCs; Phineas Dansa! More info on them will be coming soon, but I'll leave with a brief character description.

Phineas Dansa is the child of It (the Stephen King character), and much like their Pops, their main form is a male presenting clown. Phineas is genderfluid (using they/he/she/it pronouns), and says to have "found themselves 16 years ago" (that would be the age written down). Phineas loves pranks, jokes, and all sorts of fun and scary things. They tend to pull these mischievous and mostly well-meaning pranks on their classmates and Normies to feed off the fear to keep going (though Phineas does not kill their pranking victims). However, there are times that Phineas gets carried away, but they always find a way to turn things right side up if things go too upside down.

Phineas also loves cotton candy and fried dough, balloons, and of course, dancing. And I wouldn't recommend getting on their bad side...

The Werecat Twin sisters, Purrsephone and Meowlody, are a tight knit duo and pair that are rarely seen apart. The twins like to cause chaos and trouble wherever they go, often finding their own fun in the smallest of things. Like the sisters they are, Meowlody and Purrsephone both get along and sometimes get on each other's nerves, showing their true, individual personalities.

Operetta is known as Monster High's resident diva and rebel. She is not afraid to speak her mind and tells monsters like it is, which tends to rub them the wrong way. Operetta is also a hardcore perfectionist and prefers to do things solo, but she is willing to open up when others stand up for what she believes is right. She is also a very talented musician, open to collaborate with others who share that talent. Operetta also understands that there are consequences to her actions if any of her friends and classmates get hurt by what she may have done.

Nefera de Nile is the oldest de Nile sister and a massive queen bee. Unlike Cleo, her ego is a bit more inflated than her sister and also sharing ideas like her bitter father. Nefera claims to be perfect, not afraid to show off her outer beauty, but some are quick to point out her not-so glamorous interior. However, she struggles to maintain a perfect image that she bottles up any insecurities she has, including her jealousy of Cleo's popularity status and admiration from others. Despite the jealousy, Nefera has a bit of a soft spot for Cleo, viewing her younger sister's best interests and eventually, grows to attempt to make amends.

She is playful, sarcastic, mischievous, and has a tendency to get under a lot of her schoolmates' nerves. Toralei often clashes with some of the ghouls, including Cleo de Nile and Clawdeen Wolf, who are not fans of her cat-like attitude and troublesome behavior. Despite all this, she has a secret soft side (that sometimes, she's not willing to admit it) to those in need and is often willing to work with them.

Clawd is the oldest son of the Wolf family. Not only is he kind and willing to lend a helping hand, he is a loyal friend and natural born leader, always standing up for his friends. Clawd is considered popular for his attractive looks and the fact he plays in several sports, also making him the most athletic monster in school. Out of most of the boys (ex: Heath, Holt, Manny), he is very level-headed and wants to ensure things go right when he's around.

Abbey Bominable is quite literally one of the coolest ghouls in Monster High. Sure, she has an intimidating appearance with a first impression that matches, but despite her looking cold, she has a rather kind and warm heart. Because she grew up in the snowy mountains, Abbey is not familiar with the social life outside of her home. This makes her come off as rather dense and socially awkward, but she means well... most of the time.

Spectra Vondergeist, the face behind The Ghostly Gossip blog, is a very curious ghost. With a love of mystery and writing, she came to Monster High to share her passion with the school. Spectra is considered a "social butterfly", always keeping up with the latest trends and is all about being (and letting monsters) in on the known. However, she is against harmful and toxic gossip, realizing it could very much hurt the friends she has. Spectra is also a rather creative spirit and also enjoys sharing what she has to offer to other monsters.

What canon webisodes/specials/films are used in MH: The 13th Year (Part 1)

As mentioned, parts of the AU are inspired by the webisodes and specials from the canon Gen 1 series, but with a twist. In this part, we're covering the webisodes of Volume 1 and the 30-minute special, "New Ghoul @ School", and whether or not any of it will be featured the AU.

The basic plot for Vol. 1 in the AU is that it covers the ghouls' "Fleshman" year at Monster High. Some events chronicle what happened before Frankie was accepted into Monster High, but the majority is after she gets in and her first days/weeks at the school. Some will be based on the webisodes while others are original plot lines.

"New Ghoul @ School" is considered the first chapter of this AU, and it follows very closely to the original. No drastic changes needed for the plot (although some of the events on Tuesday in the special are moved to Monday for the AU, such as Frankie meeting Cleo, Deuce, Ghoulia, and befriending Draculaura). The webisodes "Blue Lagoona", "The Hot Boy", "Bad Scare Day", and "Rumor Run Wild" are also set during the events of Frankie's first week at Monster High.

The Volume 1 webisodes "Jaundice Brothers", "Cyrano de Ghoulia", "Bad Zituation", "Freedom Fight", "Totally Busted", "Freakout Friday", "Mad Science Fair", "Shock and Awesome*", "The Good, the Bat, and the Fabulous", "Hatch Me If You Can", "Date of the Dead", "A Scare of a Dare", and "Parent-Creature Conference" are set AFTER "New Ghoul @ School".

-NOTES on Vol 1 & New Ghoul @ School: AU version-

Toralei, Operetta, the Werecat Twins, Venus, Scarah, Iris, Gilda, Cy, Howleen, Invisi Billy, Manny, and Quill are featured/introduced in the AU (despite showing up/being properly introduced later)

In addition, OCs Hedna Bloodgood, Skelly Femur, Catalina Purrterson, Salem Scarkiss, Trina Clops, and Harper Talyntino are also featured/introduced in the AU

Clawdia Wolf and Nefera de Nile were both on their 13th year at Monster High during these events (with Clawdia graduating in Volume 2)

Nefera technically graduates but fails to attend the ceremony (inspired by Alexis Rose's s3 arc in Schitt's Creek)

Thursday during "New Ghoul @ School": Frankie is interviewed by Cleo, which horribly goes wrong, she isolates/shut herself out from her friends (at the same time, Ghoulia is able to comfort and befriend her)

Friday during "New Ghoul @ School: same as the canon ending (Frankie fixes things with her friends and the big school dance featuring Justin Biter)

"Shock and Awesome" gets a slightly different ending, where Frankie is able to watch the movie with the Ghouls.

The Volume 1 webisodes "Fear Squad", "Party Planners", "Photo and Finish", "Clawditions", and "Horrorscope" are NOT canon/existent in the AU

MH: The 13th Year: The Split of Jackson Jekyll and Holt Hyde

This was something that I mentioned in both my bio posts of Holt and Jackson, and that is that they were split apart sometime in the main story. Now, before I dive into how/why it happened, I'll explain why I came up with this decision.

Firstly, this AU is also inspired by the stories I MADE up with my dolls back when I collected them. With that and in other fans' videos of their own Monster High stories, Jackson and Holt are sometimes seen as TWO different characters co-existing rather than being one (there is that element in some videos). When I first planned this AU, I thought of these two being distant cousins, but it didn't make too much sense after playing out in my head.

But then, I remembered in one of the older MH doll videos I watched, someone had the idea that Cleo used a spell/amulet to split Jackson and Holt apart. That, as well as the Volume 3 webisode "Flowers for Slo-Mo" inspired me to have Jackson and Holt be split in my AU! And this is the story how it happened...

It was sometime after Frankie, Draculaura, and most of the school found out that Holt and Jackson are one in the same. After the two were about to communicate, they both realized that they had their own lives and wishes.

Jackson wanted to be able to spend more time with his friends after school and participate in nighttime activities like the Mansters' "Guys' Night", be a part of Monstar Rock, and even hang out with Frankie without worrying on bailing her.

Holt wanted to be able to know what school life was like, since he was an official student. Like Jackson, he wanted to hang out with his friends but during school hours, DJ music at daytime parties, and spend time with Draculaura while they're at school.

After learning this, Frankie and Draculaura decide to ask Cleo for help, knowing she might have an amulet or charm (Lagoona, recalling the smart Slo-Mo incident, was reluctant at first but understood why the two boys wanted to have their own independent lives without getting complicated). Cleo was able to use a special amulet to separate Jackson and Holt from each other. For the most part, the spell worked, but the two were still connected as a yin and yang symbol appeared on the back of their necks. Although, this left Jackson and Holt to explain the situation to their parents.

And to clarify, no, Mr. Hyde did not turn to Cleo to split himself from Henry Jekyll. Since Jackson and Holt were still connected was a "dark side" of the split, Mr. Hyde worried for the worst if he and Dr. Jekyll ever split (considering Hyde's dark past). In the AU, he mostly fronts as Mr. Hyde while maintaining some aspects of Dr. Jekyll's personality (think of it like the Hulk in the MCU now). He was able to turn back to Jekyll a few times, one of the times being when he and Jackson's mother "made out".

MH: The 13th Year: Jackson

Jackson Jekyll is the first human, or "Normie", to attend Monster High, something that had first confused him. Sure, he had a thing for monsters and horror movies, but he wasn't aware that he was the son of the infamous Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde until much later. Jackson is very kind, smart, and also gentle despite a somewhat edgy appearance. Even if he's a human, Jackson is known by his friends to be the nicest guy in Monster High. But the odd thing is that he never seems to hang out with friends after sundown... Fortunately for him, that would soon change.

Holt Hyde is a young, loud, and fun-loving monster who likes to party all night. He enjoys entertaining monsters with his love of music and views himself as the un-life of any party. Holt is also a flirt to any of the cute ghouls he sees, but oddly enough, many monsters are only able to see him at nighttime. But after a life-changing decision, Holt soon walks down the halls of Monster High.

Cleo de Nile is not only one of the oldest students on campus, but she is the most popular ghoul in school. She is a natural born leader but tends to get carried away (but then again, her family is royalty and is a princess). Cleo can be seen as selfish, cruel, and egotistical, but deep down under her special wraps hides an insecure but kind-hearted ghoul. After meeting new ghoul Frankie, Cleo soon rediscovered her inner kindness that was left by her lost mother and becomes a ghoul with a real "heart of gold".

A rather laid-back and all-around cool dude, Deuce is a caring and surprisingly creative monster and one of the most popular boys in the school. That does factor that he's dating Cleo de Nile, who bring out the best in each other. Deuce is a true friend to rely on and always has your back.
