God, I thought this was going to be a "using Wally as a punching bag" episode, I wasn't expecting the whole "didn't get what he wanted but got what he needed" angle. This is WAY more compelling!

That's an interesting direction.

Well, obviously he's going to be disappointed he won't be joining the fight and missing his chance to fight alongside the big leaguers, I honestly think this job would be way more important for him.

Has he ever been thanked for hero work? Because, he's going to be. He has a chance to see a direct result of the line of work he's been doing, and with how self-centered this character is, that'd be a huge lesson to learn.
