follow up: minato is Dumb about art. he gets that sasori likes it so he keeps bringing sasori bodies. however he cannot figure out the pattern by which sasori accepts/rejects them

okay so some of you may think me babbling about minato-sasori interactions started with reborn au, but this is WRONG it started with au "homemade dynamite's evil twin" which is an au where orochimaru time travels as a get-out-of-death trump card and accidentally drags sasori back with him. so orochimaru decides it would be more convenient if he simply doesn't leave konoha and instead sets himself up as minato's trusted ""mentor""/advisor. oh and also sasori is just here now

meanwhile sasori is floundering around being SO UPSET over minato. he SO pretty and sasori wants him as a puppet SO BAD but he can't :( he can't beat him :(

however i did not consider this new angle you are proposing. minato just brings sasori bodies like a cat. he just thinks he's neat!!

okay tumblr. here's a driving test.

you are driving and stop at a red light at a four way intersection. you want to go straight through the intersection. at some point, you realize that the light is not changing. traffic patterns indicate all other lights at the intersection are behaving normally: cross traffic will stop and the oncoming traffic will proceed as normal. the left turn arrow light on your side also changes as normal. you are at the stop line with no cars in front of you, so you can see clearly that all roads are unblocked and open. the light is simply NOT turning green.

after three cycles, you are very certain what has happened, and a very long line of cars has formed behind you. your choices are as follows:

run the light. you can do this when it's obvious the light should have changed to green, based on traffic patterns.

turn left. you'll have to pull into another lane and, because you're already at the stop line, you might have to sit half-in and half-out of the lane for a while due to lack of space. but you WILL get a turn light.

turn right. right on red is legal at this intersection.* *FOR BOTH TURN OPTIONS: you can then either navigate the neighborhood to get back to the road you want, or pull into a parking lot and turn around to get back to the road.

U turn. this will be tricky from your position (again, see lack of space), but cars behind you are starting to do it. You will be able to navigate an alternate route, but it will be the longest of the options so far.
