What do yo do when a client corrects you with the wrong information?

Depends if it's worth fighting it or not. This particular client was right about one thing I was wrong: I mixed up the time the two songs used as signals played on the radio (honestly, a minimal error) so I stayed quiet. But then he told me the first second did not air on the radio but rather was played live on Eurovision which I was pretty sure was wrong and just went. Yeah man. Sure. Didn't fight it.

When someone is wrong, if it's not worth it, I just nod and wave. Otherwise, if they present a modicum of self awareness (saying things like 'but that's what I heard', posing the possibility of being wrong) then I correct them but this is a trick I learnt teaching. Never say no. Say 'thats interesting', elaborate, and then say 'but that wasn't it' or something. It's so they don't feel like idiots

I know there was another occasion when someone tried to correct me but I genuinely don't remember what it was about but it was something menial, so I just brushed it off. I usually just ignore it unless it's something grave

Mass tourism, real mass tourism, is finally affecting us hard because the quality of our clients has been deep diving. Also, last I emailed the greeks, I did some of the corrections they demanded and then left a few comments with further questions because I didn't understand what she meant. I also sent in an email complaining that it's a little disrespectful to write entire paragraphs next to my own paragraphs prefaced with "you should write this". The lady said she was going to go away for two weeks and would get back to me.

Nearly a fucking month goes by and still nothing. I email her back asking what's up.

She has the audacity to tell me the tour is getting the needed alterations and they're currently recording.

I literally just asked her: so this means my work is getting alterations that I will know what they are? And at no point did it occur to you to let me know this, when I left comments on the document with questions that went unanswered?

Fucking disrespectful piece of shit. I'm actually really sad cause it's the second year working with them and it's always been smooth as hell, but I'm never going near these fucking idiots. Incompetent as shit.

Now there's a fucking tour out there with my name on it that has been changed against my will and I don't even know what those changes are. Disgraceful.
