It's not an "abandoned" WIP, I didn't intentionally leave it in the forest to die and forget about it, it is a lost wip who wandered into the forest despite my pleas not to. I sit at the edge of the forest every day and hear it calling for help but there is nothing I can do. It is a haunting wip

crying and sobbing y'all when people said that you only add scenes that advance the plot they didn't JUST mean the overarching plot. they meant the plot of the book... entirely. like a conversation between two friends can advance the plot by characterizing them and grounding them with a meaningful relationship. if your book doesn't have "filler" it's missing emotional beats. which are plot. which are important. fun and whimsy aren't mutually exclusive from what "needs" to happen in your book. the advice isn't bad it's just taken too literally stop come back.

im staring at my fic doc and honestly i have no idea how im going to finish this fic in time for kbb deadline at the end of the month. my brain is so fried and i have no thoughts on what to write or what scenes to include
i typed up a plot outline but i don't love it...
ugh.
like i want to finish this!!! i've had this wip for so long and i still love the concept and idea behind it!!! but my brain!!! refuses!!!!!
