The Apiary is located within the Moss Blanket, so we tend to get a lot of local slimes as visitors. I try to shoo them out of the pens, but the Hunter slimes are especially sneaky ones….

Slime Rancher 2 Gordo Snare
I FOUND IT
First you need to gather some hunter slime plorts and go here in the Starlight Strand;
There are two hunter slime statues to put the plorts into. These two open the bottom door, and inside is where the tech blueprints for the gordo snare are!

Absolutely IN LOVE with how feral bunny ringtails look
And since there are no mosaics in Slime Rancher 2, I have some crystal x angler largos, which look like pufferfish, so that's their name.

Slime Rancher 2's release made me wanna design some fake slime types. I have a little lore for them that you can read below;
Cream Slime
A very cold but sweet slime that's the same color and consistency as Neapolitan ice-cream. It thrives in cold environments but tends to lose solidity when exposed to heat. It's plorts are very sweat and refreshing on a hot day but tend to attract ants. They're favorite food is cherries.
Cosmos Slime
An incredibly rare slime that occasionally falls out of the sky like a shooting star. They're place of origin is unknown but based on their dazzling star scape interior, they likely come from somewhere deep in space. Their plorts can actually be used as lenses for powerful space telescopes. They're favorite food is Starfruit.
Ice Slime
Found in colder climates, ice slimes are known for their frigid body temperatures that reach below freezing on the regular. They are capable of generating their own cold, and can freeze their body solid at will. They tend to be a highly territorial species and can spit sharp icicles at invading creatures. The plorts are used as an alternative for ice, as they don't melt. They're favorite food is Snow Hens.
Mossball Slime
This slime is protected under a thick layer of moss that protects it from harsh climates. It prefers basking in a dark, moist environment and tends to get dried out in the sun. It's plorts are used as decoration for fish tanks and gardens. It's favorite food is carrots.
Shell Slime
A peculiar slime that has adopted a hard shell like a turtle. This shy slime will hide away when predators are near by, and does not like being watched. It's plorts are incredibly sturdy and are melted down to be used for armor. It's favorite food is Cuberries.
Domesticated Tarr
A strange genetically altered version of the dangerous Tarr creatures. These creatures are easier to contain, are more stable, and are able to produce plorts, unlike their wild counterparts. They are however still aggressive and will attack ranchers and other slimes if they get too close. The ethical ramifications of their existence is still hotly debated. The properties of their plots is still being studied, as they have wild and unpredictable effects on objects around them. Their favorite, and only food are Slimes.
Spirit Slime
Despite the ghastly appearance, Spirit slimes are not actually the souls of long passed slimes, but rather a perfectly living slime with a ghost-like appearance. These slimes are still strange as they only appear at night, float around in the air through unknown means, and they don't eat. They also have the ability to inexplicably pass through barriers, making them difficult to keep on ranches. Their plorts are used for spiritual and religious practices. They have no favorite food.
Aquarium Slime
This slime seems to have a symbiotic relationship with the fish and sea creatures that live in the slime sea. They often hold fish, sand, and various sea creatures inside it's body, making it appear like a mini aquarium. The fish are usually in perfect health inside the slime, and don't show signs of distress. No one knows what the slime gets out of this arrangement. It's plorts make effective bait for fishing. It's favorite food is kelp.
Mud Slime
These dirty little slimes spend a majority of their time hiding underground. They can usually be found by digging around puddles in the dirt, where several of them may pop out in a cluster. It's plorts are made of nutrient rich soil perfect for gardening. it's favorite food are potatoes.
