May I get a hug please :)
Anna looked down at the...creature? by her legs. She didn’t know what to make of such a request. The mask stared up at her almost emptily and she let out an exhale. “Come here.” Anna crouched down and pulled them into a quick squeeze. She didn’t know why she was doing this for something she didn’t know, but they didn’t look hostile. She could spare a moment for a hug. “Go. Mother will be here.” She spoke after standing and retrieving her hatchets.

*spams flashlight* hi :>
Anna let out an irritated growl from the constant flicking at her eyes. She reached under her mask and rubbed at her eyes. There was a head shake before she padded across the mud to the tiny survivor. “Do not click light in eyes. Is not nice.” Thankfully, they weren’t in trial...or she’d earn a hatchet to the face for that kind of behavior.

"Hey.. is it okay if I fall asleep on you?" (@adorable-murders)
Anna looked down at her with a soft smile. She nodded, “Sleep now.” The Huntress spoke softly while wrapping a protective arm around the tiny girl. She’d protect Susie. (@adorable-murders-2)

Nea casually sneaks away with a hatchet. "Ah, hopefully this will work this time."
“Where are you going.” Anna narrows her eyes at Nea, ax in hand. She tightens her grip. “You do not know how to throw. It has no use when you use it.”

[actually forgot to do the actual trimming. Look here for rest of post!]
The soft rumbling caught her attention, but she figured if they weren’t actively attacking her then it would be fine. Anna watched them quietly and nodded at the praise. She figured they just wanted her to continue, so she did. Her hands slowed to a stop after awhile and gently untangled from their hair, “I want to go inside. Need to feed fire in home.” Anna spoke bluntly and honestly. She wasn’t one to ask to lie about things. The Huntress turned to pick up her ax wordlessly before turning back to the Entity, “Adiris. Have you asked her about forest? Her place is here too.” There wasn’t much else besides curiosity in her gaze, but there was little hint of anymore fear towards them. She regarded them the same way she’d enjoy. Her brows weren’t creased and her neutral look gained a small upturn of the lips.
“Hello big Russian lady, do you think the Red Forest needs some more life in it? Like maybe a few deers here and there? Maybe some rabbits?”
The Huntress glanced around the empty woods. She would get a few animals but they were very few and far between. Her neutral expression slowly dropped into a small frown. “Rabbit. More deer. Maybe fox and bird with color.” Anna glanced at the Entity with a head tilt. “I am Anna. You are...it, right? Dark figure. You are not how you look like.” Anna’s frown deepened, English was difficult still. “You are not паук.” Her brows furrowed a little.

[Trimmed, look here!]
Anna gently ran her hands through the hair, but transitioned into scratching. It wasn’t hard, or even all that rough surprisingly. Despite her big hands and much too impulsive way with people, it was as if she were a little girl petting the bunny her mother had given her all over again. Anna took notice of their ears and her smile only grew. They were truly like that bunny and her mother had told her to treat such a small creature with great care unless you were hunting them for food. The Huntress never liked those days. The ones where no one game had come up so her mother was forced to kill a rabbit for them both. Anna nodded, “Thought would be like deer, is more like rabbit or fox.”  She continued the motion with one hand moving to grab a little bit of hair that hung in front of their ear. Her thumb brushed down the lock she grabbed, “Yes. Like hare.” Anna let go completely and moved to place her hands on their cheeks. “Feels like snow. Can get coat?”

The Huntress looked down at them and slowly began to ease again. They didn’t look inherently scary. She watched the hand wearily before reaching out touch her fingers to theirs. Anna eased her hand around theirs, the grip was soft and slowly became firmer. The question made her perk her head up. “New mask. Not blight. Please.” Anna said the word as if it would cause it to happen again. She paused for a moment, “Choose animal. I want to see what you give.”
The Huntress watched them for a moment and moved her hand from theirs. She reached out once again. This time she put her ax down and brought both hands up. She moved to put both her hands on either side of their head. Anna slowly smiled and ran her hands through their hair. “Soft. Good. Like, bunny.”

Anna seemed to ease a little at the explanation, “No. You are not bad. Is just different. Like this better, never liked паук.” The Huntress brought her head back up and took the opportunity to circle the person-entity. She reached out to touch them, ax held loosely with her other hand. Anna never actively tried to touch the Entity before, the being looking this human confused her though. The Huntress stopped before actually making any contact.
They had full control and she knew that. Anna was terrified of them deep down. They were feeling friendly, but this was still someone a part of the thing who dealt with her when they were “displeased” with her work in trials. “Is animal all you are here for?” She was looking at them up and down for any movement. It was only with the Entity that she remotely looked like a scared rabbit. She was actually fitting the mask she was wearing for once.

Anna stared blankly at the woman who situated herself so easily on her lap. Was there no fear? Did she have no survival instinct? She continued to stare unblinking. She could kill her. Right now, she could chop her up, though she wouldn’t stay dead. She’d kill so many soldiers without remorse, blade of her ax pulling chunks of flesh. Anna couldn’t find it in her heart to do so now. Feng was tiny compared to her. “You are dangerous rabbit. Do not know fear well.” The Huntress said before wrapped her arms around the tiny woman. “Would say stupid, but I do not want to kill you. Not now.” Her hold was firm, as if Feng was just another plush she brought home.
Though none of them were this big usually.

Woah, we look similar!
Anna tilted her head down to Feng with her usual neutral look. She reached out to grab one of the floppy ears and pulled it up gently. “You are hare now too.” Anna spoke with harsh accent. She grabbed the other ear and held them both up. “Is good look.” The killer said before dropping both the ears. “Is cute. Will not frighten others.”

Anna looked even more confused, but it only showed in a slight frown. It was almost silly from her crouched position and mask. “Waffle?” Had she had such a meal? She ate many things she didn’t know the name of during her time alive. There was no one to ask in those times
. Hunger. She understood that feeling well.
No one should go hungry. It wasn’t even winter. She would make sure this child was fed through it. Anna reached for the pouch by her side and untied it. There were strips of dried meat in it, “Is all I have here now. Can provide more in home. Eat to grow big.”

“It’s food,” she quickly replied. “Waffles with syrup.” El wasn’t even sure what ‘Gentle Hare’ meant, really, but the psychic accepted the stuffed bear. He just needed some cleaning, that was all. She could clean. Hop taught her how to clean stuff like this.
“Thank you.”

"Why are you so tall..?", asks an intimidated @frenzied-blade
The Huntress looked down at the legion before her. She had never seen this one before. He looked like a bug with his green hair, the kind her mother told her not to touch. Why was she tall? Anna never really questioned it, but her mother had never been so tall, was she? She couldn’t remember.
“Do not know. Why are you tiny?” Anna asked with face neutral. The Legion knew more about different things than she did. They couldn’t hunt nor navigate forests like she could, couldn’t easily do the survival skills she could. But they were smart in their own right. Some of them tried to explain technology to her. She still didn’t completely understand, but they had sounded smart. Either way, she’d love them the same. They were her children, in her eyes.
