[summary] wrio’s spouse winds up in prison. special treatment ensues.
[cws] gender neutral reader. fluff.
Tumblr media
“What you did was incredibly stupid.”
“I’d like to think it was very brave, actually.” You quip back, lips pursed as you turn up your chin. “You should be proud of me, really.”
“I should be proud that you got yourself thrown in prison?” You don’t have to look up to know that Wriothesley is sporting an incredulous expression. “Did they knock your head around a bit before bringing you down here?”
“You’re acting like I murdered someone.” You finally meet his gaze, and you resist the urge to sink down into your seat at the clear disapproval in his eyes. “All I did was—”
“Break into the Opera Epiclese and destroy government property.”
“That’s such a trumped-up charge!” You huff and roughly cross your arms over your chest, eyes narrowing as you think back on the charges that had been slapped down onto you by that damned archon. “You trip in the dark and accidentally fall into the oratrice and all of a sudden you’re a criminal. Hmph!”
“Yeah, exactly. It also doesn’t help that you broke in—”
“—I left my bracelet in there after the trial! Was I just supposed to leave it behind and potentially lose it forever? The condition of the lost and found in that place is downright terrible—the guards pocket all the good stuff.”
“You could have bought another one.”
“Not like this one.” You look down to the gray bracelet encircling your wrist, and a warmth spreads in your chest as you gently twist it around, finger rubbing over the messily written engraving on the inside of it. “This was a gift.”
“Hardly.” He sighs, and your eyes flick up to watch as he runs his hands through his already messy hair. “It’s just scrap metal I bent up and welded because I couldn’t buy you proper jewelry back when I was a prisoner.” It’s his turn to look at the bracelet.
“You were so creative back then.” You smile a bit wider. “I remember you used to have something new made every time I came to visit you. What was that one thing you made? The one that we painted together?”
“The ballerina music box.” He groaned, looking a bit embarrassed, and you snapped your fingers.
“The ballerina music box!” The ballerina was a bit oddly shaped, and the box had sharp corners on one side and rounded on the other, and the song the box played was distorted and sounded more creepy than relaxing due to some disfigured cogs, but you loved it nonetheless, and had even sobbed in thanks when he had first presented the gift to you. “I love that little box.”
“It looks like a child made it.”
“A child in the throes of eleazar, yes,” you nod, and his mouth opens a bit in surprise before he huffs out a laugh. “But I still love it… because you made it.” You give him a sweet smile, and you can see him soften up before your very own eyes; broad shoulders losing that rigidness, lids lowering, crease between his dark, thick brows disappearing.
“You’re tryin’ to butter me up.”
“Mhm,” you nod. “Is it working?”
“Not at all, jailbird.” He gives you a smile of his own, and despite the clear sarcasm in it, you can’t help the little flutter your heart does at the sight. “No special treatment for you.” So he says, yet he had placed a cup of tea down for you the moment you were brought to his office, and had even tried to inconspicuously nudge the basket of cookies in your direction, pretending not to notice when you reached for one. “Spouse or not.”
“What a mean man.” You slouch down in your seat. “I treasure the gifts that my lovely, amazing, strong, handsome, and so so so incredibly smart husband gives me and what do I get in return? A criminal record and unfair treatment! I’m suing the entire nation the moment I’m free!”
“Yeah, yeah,” he waves his hand in the air as if fanning away the conversation, and now it’s your turn to huff. “For the few days that you’re here, you’ll be working directly with me in exchange for coupons.” He takes a slow sip of his tea, adams apple bobbing as he swallows, before gently setting the cup back down onto its small plate. “I’ll make your first job real easy to get you in the swing of things.”
“How kind of you.”
He just barely contains an amused smile. “Very. Now…” He shifts in his seat. “Give me a kiss.”
“I’m married, Your Grace.”
“I’m sure your husband won’t mind. Kiss. Now.” He taps a finger against his lips, and after a moment you stand up and round his desk, hands finding his shoulders as you bend at the waist so your noses brush.
“My husband is a very good fighter, by the way. When he finds out you twisted his spouses’s arm like this, he’ll pummel you.”
“I can handle him.” A hand snags you by the waist, forcing you down into his lap, and you only have time to let out a quiet yelp before Wriothesley’s lips are on yours. The kiss is slow, sensual, and it brings a warmth to your cheeks and covers you with a bashful cloak when he pulls back to let his eyes roam over your face. “I’ve gotta say… your husband is a real lucky guy to snatch up someone as cute as you.”
“Hmph. Seems like you’re trying to butter me up now.”
“Is it working?” He presses his face into your neck, his lips pulling into a smile against your skin, and you have to fight back one of your own.
“Not at all, jailbird.”

hii! i have a question and i feel like i would get the most mature and logical answer if i asked you! so, im 19 years old and i typically enjoy reading smut about anime characters from haikyuu, bnha, naruto shippuden but recently i got attacked online and this person basically said that im wrong for reading adult themes about underaged characters and that basically im a pedophile. but, I've liked these characters since i was 14/17, so am i doing something wrong? am i.. gross? 😓
Tumblr media
i got two asks regarding this so i can only imagine there is someone around here yappin about it again. so to reiterate what i always say: ANIME CHARACTERS ARE FICTIONAL.
it would be one thing if they were real like 15, 16, 17 year olds or if they were like 5, 6, 7 year olds. but they aren't.
in haikyuu theyre canonically older than ME and i'm 23. the only one who was born in my yeah as far as i remember is fuckin kunimi - and he's still a few months older than me. currently they are all graduated from highschool and some of them are even pro athletes.
as for bnha, they're literally overpowered anime characters who fight super villains. there's nothing typical about them.
because they're fictional they're underage but they aren't minors. calling them minors gives the impression that they're protected under some sort of law - they aren't.
they don't exist. they cannot give an opinion on whether they don't like being lewded. they cannot tell you if they're hurt by it. they don't feel anything. they aren't being victimized. because they don't have consciousness.
and it's still not pedophilia because THEY ARENT PREPUBESCENT CHILDREN. people are simply calling you that because they want to insult you. that is the only reason ppl throw that word around - because they're wanting to make you second guess yourself. but it's NOT pedophilia. pedophilia is only an attraction to prepubescent children - typically the cut off for it about 13 years old. the anime characters are in HIGHSCHOOL.
if i'm correct in assuming that you lewd the characters as adults...and you like them probablt because of their personality and character design. you're not attracted to them because of their age. they could canonically be 40 and you'd still probably dig them.
you are not attracted to them because they're underage characters - you're not targeting them or lewding them because they're in high school and thags attractive to you. no, you're attracted to how they were created and illustrated and age them up in your head or in fics.
this whole argument is stupid to me. they aren't real. stop treating cartoons as if they're real, living, breathing people. they aren't. they are literally never going to be hurt or victimized by tumblr users writing porn about them aged up.

Do you have any rules for requests???
Pretty much just basic stuff lol
I don’t write nsfw for underage characters (they have to be specifically requested to be aged up)
Sfw can be written for anyone
Non-con/r*pe is a no no here
No adult/minor ships. Please.
No piss/scat
Drugs and alcohol only for legal age characters (again, you can specify them to be aged up)
These are all I have rn, but just ask me with a specific request and I’ll tell you if I write for it

Please, reblog! IIt’s called self defense. Apart from having here, in the US, one of the highest cases of homicide and rape in the world and high rate of GBV, think about how this could help your mother or sister

Because the topic is back on my dash: A live action Mulan (2009)
~A text for everybody who waits for the Disney live action Mulan movie that is said to be closer to the poetry about Hua Mulan~
THERE ALREADY IS A MOVIE! Title: Mulan: Rise of a Warrior Year: 2009 Director/Producer: Jingle Ma Land of production: China Warning: Before watching delete your knowledge about the Disney movie because besides the name Mulan and the country there is nearly nothing they have in common.
Cast (just a few I think are important for the plot): Hua Mulan: Zhao Wei
Tumblr media
Wentai: Chen Kun
Tumblr media
Fei Xiaohu: Jaycee Chan
Tumblr media
Mendu: Hu Jun
Tumblr media
Rouran Princess: Liu Yuxin
Tumblr media
Plot (as spoiler free as possible): The movie sets place somewhere 400-450 A.D. during a time where the ruling Chinese dynasty Wei is under constant attacks of the Rouran tribes. They draft soldiers from all over the country, also Hua Hu who’s a retired soldier. His daughter Mulan is intelligent and skilled in material arts. She knows her father will for sure die if he goes to war, therefore she tricks him, leaves and pretends to be his son to take his place in the army. At first only her best friend Fei Xiaohu, who also was drafted, knows. Because of an incident the battalion’s sub commander Wentai discovers Mulan’s secret but helps her to keep it secret. What follows are 10 (or was it more?) years as commander in the chinese army and trying to defend the dynasty against the Rouran tribes.
10 reasons why you should watch this movie (as spoiler free as possible): 1) Zhao Wei portrays Mulan as the strong female she needed to be in the army but without losing the human side of her. A female strong lead that still needs somebody to lean on sometimes and that is still flawed and doubting.
2) Chen Kun portrays with Wentai a male lead role that isn’t a macho warrior but has his own dead weight to pull and is content with playing Mulan’s shoulder to lean on (secretly) instead of pulling off the protective man. Strong and soft and loyal to death.
3) You follow Mulan through the horrors of war. Killing humans, losing soldiers (and friends) under your command, breaking down to the point of stupor. And handling the ambivalence of being raised a normal woman and being a battalion’s commander.
4) Jaycee Chan as the passionate, loyal and honest (sometimes dorky) best friend. That alone is a valid reason. Fight me!
5) Women although portrayed as chess piece in political issues, in the end becoming the one who hold the power to change the situation. Also other commander’s envy not because Mulan is a woman but because she is successful.
6) Closing in on the original poetry of the folk hero Mulan.
7) Love story as realistic as possible under the given circumstances in the movie and the fact that it is a movie (still need a movie where the love story will have me entranced and weep like this one).
8) Amazing soundtrack!
9) Actual Chinese actors playing Chinese characters. A country making an authentic movie about their own folklore. Isn’t that what you people on tumblr always scream for?
10) Because the story sucks you in and will have you emotional devastated when the movie ends.
So please, before waiting on a Hollywood movie on Mulan, watch the Chinese one. It’s an amazing piece of movie, and even art. I can’t even tell you all I love about it without repeating and making weird noises and failing to function. Is this movie perfect and flawless? No! But it’s still authentic and you see the work and passion behind it. It gives us non-chinese people a better understanding of Mulan. So please, don’t wait for an even more washed movie about Mulan from Hollywood. Watch a Chinese movie about a Chinese folk hero.

DANIEL PRUDE was buck naked and hand cuffed, lying on the ground at 3am while it snowed. There were 5 officers. They decided he was such a threat to society, while handcuffed and unarmed, that all 5 of them had to restrain him. At least one of them put his knee into his back, applying his full weight, pushing DANIEL PRUDE into the ground while he was wearing a spit hood. It doesn’t matter whether it was drugs or mental illness, or both that caused him to be naked out on the street at 3am. He was cuffed. He was unarmed. The community was not served by 5 armed men, pressing him into the pavement so hard he asphyxiated and eventually died.

i’m going to take a moment to deviate from my usual posts, so bear with me: the actress starring in the 2020 Mulan remake, Liu Yifei, has just voiced her support for the Hong Kong police. these are the police who have been brutalizing protestors for several months now with batons, tear gas, and rubber bullets, and recently blinded a young medic in one eye. Liu has a social media platform of 65 million followers, and has been in the national spotlight since her casting - her words have influence and impact. her conscious decision to stand by the HK police sends a clear message: that violence against civilians is acceptable as a means of control, intimidation, and suppression.
this breaks my heart. as a person of Chinese descent, Mulan’s character was a source of inspiration and empowerment throughout my childhood, and I’m sure I wasn’t alone in my excitement to see the remake, but I’m even more saddened and disgusted by Liu Yifei’s support of the police. note that Liu is a naturalized American citizen, and reaps the benefits of freedom and democracy in the US while supporting those who are fighting to silence it in China.
if Mulan were real and here now, she would be out on the streets of Hong Kong, fighting for the fundamental rights of 7 million Hong Kong citizens. please, please, please consider boycotting this movie. skip it, pirate it, do what you need to do, but show that you won’t stand for police brutality.
