OKAY so I have a really cool tattoo and I love it but of course, people judge it because it’s a bit unconventional. WELL SOMEONE FINALLY CAME UP TO ME AND WAS LIKE “I would never get a tattoo like that” and I was weirded out but then I was like
Me: why not?
Stupid jerk: because. It’s not art and its permanent, plus placement. I couldn’t ever get a tattoo on my chest.
Me: okay. What do you want me to do about it?
Stupid jerk: what?
Me: why are you telling me this? What do you want me to do?
Stupid jerk: cover it up!
Me: (very quickly) no.
The look on their face was impactful on my mental health in a positive way.
For the record, my tattoo is the autobot symbol to the right of my chest. It’s easily covered by every shirt I own except for tank tops and swim suits. I love it.

As you might be aware I have big feelings about all besnouted creatures, but recently something has been grating on me. Sometimes, when people draw a snout animal, they draw the snout as a nose with the mouth as a separate entity underneath. This is a stylistic choice I greatly dislike because a snout or trunk is, by definition
A COMBINATION OF THE NOSE AND UPPER-LIP.
Tumblr media
You can see here that the snout is not a separate entity from the mouth in these mammals, but is a fleshy protuberance emanating from the upper jaw.
Tumblr media
You can see in this illustration how a more anatomically accurate snout position gives an anthropomorphic pig a degree of charm that an inaccurate snout position does not.
Snout positioning can make or break a character design for me.

How don’t I have the heart to tell people what storms are happening, how can I bare the roaring winds pounding their war cry on my ear drums? My mind is throbbing with searing pain like the guilt wreched-sound ripping it’s way through a mourning mother. How do I experience being thrown around within my own mind to where my body as smooth and as unrecognizable as tumbled rock? My energy is leeched away from me by money hungry bastards who don’t care what’s best. Bed fallen and battle scared, salt trails on my face reveal every place in hell I’ve gone. Hurricane riddled waters reveal my truth over a split second in time, the child screaming, yearning for any sense of belonged-love. Why must sitting in a bath with the jets on high bring me satisfaction when I’m completely alone? Just me and my eye on the center of the hurricane, waiting to look up while it’s overhead, so perhaps I can catch a glimpse of projected peace.
Well the change is here, I can hear my dear,
It’s beating on the drum.

I have been writing a series for almost four full years now. It is called night infinity, and it is a my dream so get a Netflix deal or get it on hbo or some other really large platform. It’s a huge project of mine, and it means so much to me. It’s about three characters who go through so much within 8 months. It’s a reflection of the lives the around me, including my own. Science fiction has helped me so much through my life. Stories like Red vs Blue, transformers, voltron, mainly have impacted me an astronomical amount. My first tattoo is the autobot insignia on my right chest. That’s how much sci-fi as a genre means to me. Night Infinity takes place on a huge spacecraft called the Atlas Adaline. It’s a nod to the Halo franchise, but it’s in its own universe. The entirety of humanity in waged in war, and one of our main characters is a woman named Grayson. She has never set foot on a planet, only seen one or heard about events surrounding one. Only has lived bouncing from ship to ship growing up with her parents. The second main character is named Claire, and he is the happy hour lucky guy. The one who you can trust with anything and will fight for you, even if he knows you’re in the wrong. He grew up on a planet with another brother, and both once they were old enough, started working for their father on a technology enhancement place. Some terrible things happen later, the father dies, the brother dies, and Claire didn’t want the company after that. He was always in his brother’s shadow, but he wasn’t mad about it. He never wanted the spotlight, and chose to leave the company. Our last main character is named Joaquin. He is the most timid and unsure of the three, and is one of the longest remaining members of the Atlas. Some terrible things happen on the ship, and due to his seniority, he gets pushed to become the leader of the main lab where all the inventing goes on. He never wanted this, and was only pushed to do so because of a supporting character named Levi. She was his best friend, even though she mostly did all the talking. He doesn’t dislike her presence though she can be a bit over stimulating. The ship made a mass ad asking for people to come and work for them on a project that has been in development for a few years at this point. It’s a huge passion project and such a different reality, but it’s mine reality? The storyline has swallowed me whole and not a day goes by that I don’t think about the three of them and it’s such a moving story about friendship and platonic love??? Ugh I wish I could say more but I really just hope that one day my dreams come true.
