Colorado Blue Spruce (Picea Pungens)
Hardiness Zones: 2- 7
Mature Height: 50- 75ft
Watering: Water when soil feels dry.
Soil: Does well in most soils that are moist, but well drained.
Sun: Full sun. At least 6 hrs outside each day (when potted)
Fertilizer: Sprinkle 10-10-10 slow release granulated fertilizer over the root zone in spring prior to fresh growth.  Do not fertilize in summer because new growth is susceptible to frost damage.
Pruning: Early spring.

Hardiness Zones: 10- 11
Mature Height: 5ft
Watering: Water when soil is dry to the touch. If plant is losing leaves or has leaf spots it has too little water.
Soil: Cactus/ succulent soil. Well draining soil.
Sun: Full sun
Flowering season: Spring
Fertilizer: Once every few months use a balanced water soluble fertilizer. Never fertilize when soil is dry. It will damage the roots.
Pruning: In spring or summer for faster recovery

Juniper (Juniperus)
Hardiness Zones: 4- 9
Mature Height: 20- 40 meters, or shrub/ bush size.
Watering: Mist the tree regularly because juniper roots don’t like soil wetness.
Soil: Well draining soil.
Sun: Place in full sunlight, not indoors. protect if temperatures are below 14*F (-10*C)
Berries: In 2- 3 years berries can be harvested in fall.
Fertilizer: Liquid fertilizer every week or organic fertilizer pellets.
Pruning: Late winter or early spring

Japanese Red Maple (Acer palmatum)
Hardiness Zones: 3- 9
Mature height: 5 ft
Watering: Water deeply twice a week, more if newly planted or potted.
Soil: Acidic, loamy, moist, rich, sandy, silty loam, well drained and clay. Slight drought tolerance. 
Sun: Full sun except the southern most portions of hardiness range
Color Change: Orange- red in spring, red- green in summer, and vibrant orange red in fall. Heavy shade encourages green leaves
Fertilizer: Malt with 2 1/2 - 3″ of shredded bark, (hardwood) Do no fertilize when tree is stressed.
Pruning: Late Summer, early fall.
Give the tree more attention in spring

Soil: Well drained soil in full sun/ light shade. Moister soil in full sunlight
Sun: Full sun is preferred.

Mature height: 20- 25 ft. Dwarf variants reach 1/2 to 2/3 of the size
Watering: Deeply once a week. Water lightly when soil is dry.
Soil: Moist soils that aren’t water logged. Well drained soil.
Sun: Full Sun light.
Flowering Season: April
Fertilizer: Feed slow release 12-12-12 fertilizer each spring. Do not touch the trunk with it.
Pruning: Prune in winter
