Okay so I was reading fanfic when it hit me. A modern way for wands besides what I posted earlier could be canes. They would be discreet and easy to hide during them by pretending you busted you leg and need one.

Current thoughts on modern witches

Okay so modern witches still need a wooden base for wands and or staves and the stronger the witch the bigger the object needs to be so what if weaker witches use pencils and stronger ones are around wooden bats and two by fours.
