Typography: This subject has to be one of my favorites . Not only do we use it with advertisement but in the early Egyptian days you see it so much in the pyramids. They way told stories or written their history was through typography and I think it's so cool . Not only that , I've never been the super creative student who could do bubble letters or right something so cool but still legible . Very interesting subject and very cool pictures . Poltical Cartoons : Growing up , I've always looked forward to reading the cartoon or comic page in the newspaper. Not even knowing what politics were , satire and sarcasm I still wanted to see the outrageous drawings and laugh . Now , that I'm of age and I realize how political cartoons play a role in the newspaper, I've grown suddenly aware of its humor . Some may think it's a distraction from bigger issues and policies but other may say it makes it easier to talk about , once some light is shined on the topics with a cartoon sketch . Either way political cartoons have been around for awhile and I don't see them disappearing anytime soon . Staging in Image : how often do we see a wonderful picture on Facebook , Instagram or even Tumblr and think what a random great photo . Not thinking , what that photographer went through or how long it even took to capture that one perfect image . Staging a photo in not necessarily bad , just sometimes knowing the behind the scenes or the process takes away from image . The resulting image may have little or no resemblance to the photo (or photos in the case of compositing) from which it originated. Today, photo manipulation is widely accepted as an art form. This photo is very disturbing and it reminds to keep fighting for women's right . This photo reminds me of the group of photos to show the country the horrible impact of child labor . Social injustices! I'm sure a lot of people would want to see this be their daughter , wife , or even mother . It's hard to watch a group of men attack 1 , little lady because she wanted to use her voice . Gestalt’ Theory : the relationship between the parts and as a whole composition. The background and the foreground plays huge roles in this photo . For example, what do you notice first and is the red a negative space and the white and positive OR is the white in negative and the red in positive . . Do you see the white flower or do you see two faces kissing ? The best part of his theories is that you get a chance to learn how the advertisers are trying to capture your brain and get your attention ! I bet you it worked .

Form vs content All those these pictures are very similar they're very different. You can clearly see how form and content are in the same family . For example , look how detailed the photo is on the left (content ) it's like what is being expressed through details . However on the right , it's just using the lining as the subject itself . Form : this photo is incredible ! This 3-D photo makes you feel like you’re actually there and that this guy is really floating on a puzzle piece . Not to mention the puzzle pieces are truly a perfect touch . Looking at the geometrical features get a little tricky . Great example of form .
