"My husband... Loved... This world... He loved it so much. He thought humanity could be better. He wanted to help them be better, and I truly believed he could. I believed in him so much, he made me better."
"And what did the world give him in return for his kindness?"
"They dragged him away. Cut his hair. Forced him to his knees, and shot him. Like a damn animal! Humanity couldn't bear to return the same compassion, the same love he so foolishly gave them."
"So I shall give back to the world, what they gave him. Slaughter."
"You wanted a monster. A witch you could whisper about in the dead of night to scare children. A warning to those who would step out of line. Who would dare question why they should fear the shadows."
"Well, congratulations. You got your wish."
She looms over the priest, knife glinting in the purple firelight "But don't blame the lambs whom you lead to slaughter."
(sins of the sea) Oops! A young man in a queue and blue magua trips over Gaki, spilling his two buckets of water held by a rod. Uh oh.
"Ah!! I am sorry!"
Gaki yelps, startled by the action as she stumbles forward and out of the way. She turns back to see the mess that'd been made. "Oh! No, I'm sorry!" Gaki splutters, shifting the sling of sticks on her back before moving to help pick the buckets back up.
"I didn't realize- I- I must have been lost in thought." She held one of them out to the young man "I could help you fetch more water if you'd like. I- I'm sorry again for tripping you."
